Rock-resistant foes such as Rhydon, Klinklang, Poliwrath, and Throh fall to Close Combat or Play Rough. Sucker Punch makes up for Lycanroc-N's mediocre Speed, revenge killing faster threats like Rotom, Jynx, and Froslass. Lycanroc-N appreciates Knock Off support from Thwackey and Sawk to cripple item-dependent Pokemon such as Tangela and Gurdurr, and Lycanroc-N threatens Flying-types like Altaria and Rotom-S in return. Special attackers like Skuntank and Jynx threaten Grass-types such as Gourgeist-S and Thwackey for Lycanroc-N, while it helps against Stunfisk and Coalossal. Lycanroc-N fears revenge killers like Sawk and Alolan Dugtrio, so switch-ins like Qwilfish and Tangela are crucial; the former also provides Spikes support to aid Lycanroc-N's wallbreaking.
