Yew Geneolgia the Gallade (Level 4)

Bio

Man, was it a weird day when Yew joined the team. Magnolia was looking into the horizon, calm and ready, then we all saw a silhouette against the morning sun. It was Yew, tired but revitalized as soon as he saw the Gardevoir that was ready to welcome him. He then pledged his loyalty to Magnolia and me, without hesitation, and then fell right at our feet, unconscious. Talk about a memorable first contact.
After nursing it back to health, we came to realize Yew was a rather subdued fellow, which is uncommon for a Gallade, but otherwise rather pleasant to have around. He becomes ardent in battle, though, and won't hesitate to crush you if you represent the slightest menace. And then apologize profusely aftewards.

Ira Gamagōri the Slowbro (Level 4)

Bio

In somewhat of a subversion for a Slowbro, this guy's not really dumb. He can actually be pretty smart if he really puts in the effort. No, it's more that he's stubborn. Very much so. Edea levels of stubborn. He will absolutely refuse to back down once he's settled on something, and he certainly has the stamina and iron will to tire any potential opponents out.
That said, because of this, he's incredibly difficult to bring to reason at times, so yeah, he can be pretty stupid. Apparently he doesn't mind being hit either, maybe he's just that sturdy. He'll often use that, uh, talent of his to great effect both in battle and outside of battle, as he's adamant on being everyone's shield. Eh, at least he has his heart in the right place.

Bio

Hisao's not the brightest star in the sky, that's for sure. Leading his own little clique, he's much more of an airhead than his impressive appearance could lead one to suspect. Indecisive, forgetful, and sometimes downright insensitive, he's made a handful of blunders throughout the years. That said, he has his heart in the right place, and will always think of others, misplaced as his empathy might be. Girls seem to love him for that, though of course he's totally blind to that.
He's not much of a thinker, and while he can actually come up with detailed strategy, he often opts for the more direct approach. This has proven to be his downfall in the past, so he's trying to better himself on that front.

Bio

I was sure he'd turn tail the second I was reported missing, and yet here he is. or maybe his tendency to attract trouble actually led us to him, or him to us. Who knows. In any case, he's now begrudgingly a part of the new team, and still pulling his own weight!
And still kinda harassing every girl in the team, except those that can smack him hard enough to send him flying. He doesn't really try his luck with them.
He tried engaging contact with Dahlia once. He wouldn't come out for a week afterwards, scared of the outside world.

Although HyHy's Dragonite was very vulnerable to attacks, in the end it was Mega Slowbro's defensive abilities rather than their offensive ones that led to TMan dealing the final blow here and taking home the victory.

What a great game by both players! TMan was dancing all over the place with strategies like the Fling Custap Berry and Muk's Power of Alchemy, but HyHy was also doing a great job holding their own and keeping their Pokemon healthier, with a sizable HP lead around Rounds 5 and 6 that could absolutely have converted into a win on time or even a win by knockouts. I'll be looking forward to future appearances by both of these players!​
