[SET COMMENTS]
Latias cements itself as a bulky attacker with Regenerator, repeatedly pivoting into threats like Barraskewda and opposing Choice Scarf + Trick users such as Mew and Jirachi. Draco Meteor is a powerful STAB move that can revenge kill Garchomp, Zygarde-10%, and Latios. Mystical Fire not only reliably damages Intimidate Corviknight and Regenerator Ferrothorn, but also weakens strong special attackers like Desolate Land Heatran and Tapu Lele. With Future Sight, Latias can prevent Terrakion and Galarian Zapdos from taking advantage of free switches into Latias' teammates like Mandibuzz, Zarude, and Mew. Trick means Latias can debilitate RegenVest users, walls and other Pokemon that try to pivot into its attacking moves. Choice Scarf allows it to outpace Barraskewda and boosted setup sweepers like Scale Shot Garchomp, as well as making Trick potent. However, losing Choice Scarf stops Latias from revenge killing Dragon-types and weakened foes.

Latias benefits from special walls such as RegenVest Swampert and Landorus-T that can switch into Tapu Lele, Zapdos, and Togekiss, which Latias is not able to check. It offensively pairs well with physical attackers such as Terrakion, Galarian Zapdos, and Zarude, which break through Mew and Jirachi after Future Sight baits them in. Physically defensive partners such as Intimidate Corviknight reliably switch into physical attackers that Latias struggles against, such as Dhelmise, Zarude, and Terrakion. Latias can pair with Heatran, Tapu Fini, and Garchomp to form aggressive Regenerator cores. Heatran is particularly noteworthy as a partner because it counters Tapu Koko, Latias's biggest offensive threat.

A Calm Mind set with Magic Guard and a Life Orb can be used, but for that set, Latias's bulk is generally outclassed by Latios's power.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-types such as Tapu Koko and Tapu Lele beat Latas without struggle. Both can switch into a Draco Meteor and force it out after a Choice-locked Future Sight, allowing an easy double switch. Sheer Force Tapu Lele especially threatens Latias's teammates, such as Swampert with Energy Ball and Corviknight with Thunderbolt.

**Dark-types**. Dangerous Dark-type attackers such as Choice Band Zarude and Weakness Policy Galarian Moltres greatly threaten Latias, as it can only do so much damage with Draco Meteor. Mandibuzz can also switch into a Draco Meteor, recover reliably, and pressure Latias with Foul Play. Although Unaware Mandibuzz is 3HKOed by Draco Meteor, that still means it survives a switch-in and can recover. Dauntless Shield handles Latias even better as it takes less damage from consecutive hits from Draco Meteor.

**Other Trick Users**: Choice Scarf Regenerator Mew, Jirachi, and Tapu Fini easily switch into Latias and prevent it from making progress with Trick or any of its attacks. However, Latias can pivot into them too, scouting their move if they don't pivot out.

Enabled by Regenerator, Latias cements itself on Regenerator teams thanks to it's capability as a bulky attacker and with the ability to repeatedly pivot into to pressure threats like opponents with Future Sight such as Barraskewda and opposing Choice Scarf + Trick users, such as Mew and Jirachi. Terrakion, Zapdos-Galar (These guys kill it to death, even when it has max HP) and Toxapex allowing it to also revenge kill threats such as Garchomp, Latios and damage Dark-Types immune to Psychic such as Zarude and Mandibuzz. Draco Meteor is a powerful STAB move that can revenge kill Garchomp, Zygarde-10%, and Latios. Mystical Fire also not only reliably damages Intimidate Corviknight and Regenerator Ferrothorn,(add comma) and but also weakens strong special attackers like Desolate Land Heatran and Tapu Lele. decrease the power of Tapu Lele and Tapu Fini switching in. With Future Sight, Latias is able to prevent Terrakion and Galarian Zapdos from taking advantage of free switch-ins and bait in Psychic-resistant Pokemon like Mandibuzz, Zarude, and Mew for its teammates. Trick means Latias can cripple RegenVest users and Dragon, Fire or Psychic-resistant Pokemon that try to pivot into its attacking moves. Maximum HP allows Latias to survive a Draco Meteor from an opposing Latias, a Stone Edge from Adaptability Terrakion and avoid a 2KO from Choice Specs Azelf. (Frankly, none of these are relevant calcs, so I wouldn't bother mentioning the spread)

Forgot to mention what type of team(s) it's good on, i.e. bulky offense.
Latias benefits from special walls such as RegenVest Swampert and Ferrothorn Landorus-T Ferro most typically runs physdef who can reliably switch into Triage Tapu Lele, (They can check Lele in general) Zapdos,(add comma) and Togekiss, offensive Mew (Who?) which Latias is not able to check. can all threaten Latias, regardless of it's Choice Scarf. Trick allows Latias to disable cripple susceptible targets like Chansey, Heatran and Swampert,(add comma) but without the speed boost, it loses its ability to revenge kill Dragon-types and weakened foes. against Choice Scarf Mew, Landorus, Zapdos-Galar and Inteleon. (I would mention how it pairs well with things that like Future Sight, namely Terrakion and Galarian Zapdos since it chips targets into OHKO or 2HKO range, and Zarude bc it baits in stuff like mew/jirachi/spdef mons in general to try and eat the future sight, all of which tend to get nuked by dlariat) Physically defensive partners such as Intimidate Corviknight and Dauntless Shield Mew also reliably switch-in to switch into physical attackers that Latias struggles against, such as Dhelmise, Zarude, and Terrakion.(add period) and Tapu Koko. Latias also creates great Regenerator cores with Heatran, Tapu Fini and Garchomp who can form great offensive pressure and defensive presence within a team. Heatran is particularly noteworthy as a partner because it counters manages to counter the aforementioned Tapu Koko, Latias's biggest offensive threat. Latios as well as check Grassy Surge Dhelmise which all threaten Latias. Garchomp and Moltres make excellent partners for Latias to create an offensive core. Together they can reliably check Zarude, Terrakion and Talonflame and KO them in return with Earthquake, Stone Edge and Weather Ball collectively. (Honestly would just bin this, Garchomp and Moltres don't check zarude or terrakion, +2 or even just wisp talonflame are both relatively common and cook them. If anything, I would mention how Zapdos is a cool partner since it does check Talonflame, and you don't need to mention Zarude again since you already talked about it earlier.)

A Calm Mind set with Magic Guard and a Life Orb Life Orb Magic Guard is an alternative option,(add comma) but Latias's bulk is generally outclassed by Latios's offensive power. as a bulkier cleaner than options such as Latios and Tapu Lele. It has a better matchup overall against Zapdos, Terrakion and Corviknight but loses against Latios, Heatran, and Chansey.

Honestly, I felt there was A LOT of fairly important meta-specific stuff missing. I can't qc approve this in good faith until all of the edits are at minimum addressed in some way. I'm sure there's still stuff I missed, but I did the best I could
