Gen 3 Hi

hi so this is my best adv team i have made to date. its p. cool and super fun to use. just posting looking for improvements. g80 dont rate this team.

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 32 Spd / 224 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Agility
- Baton Pass
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Thunderbolt

zapdos is a p. cool lead beat some stuff loses to others. basically its purpose is to kill + baton pass stuff. i went with the modest spread so i can hit harder.

Flygon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 80 HP / 224 Atk / 16 Def / 180 Spd / 8 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power [Bug]
- Rock Slide

seems kind of like a dead weight. its cool cause it gets lots of opportunities to switch in but i feel like i could probably put something more useful in.

Moltres @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 40 HP / 216 Spd / 252 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Morning Sun
- Will-O-Wisp

unorthodox but cool. wow is cool for screwing up mence and tar and gyara et al. morning sun heals fire blast fucks shit up.

Blaziken (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Fire Blast
- Rock Slide
- Sky Uppercut
- Swords Dance

standard sd blaziken. not much to say about it. i think jolly would be cool but he usually gets bp passes so i went with adamant. p. cool guy overall though.

Metagross @ Leftovers
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 176 Atk / 40 Def / 8 Spd / 32 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Meteor Mash
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

idk i wanted a status absorber/physical attacker. pretty strong but kind of stall weak. generally i can double switch good enough and one layer doesnt really bother me.

Gengar (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 72 Atk / 184 Spd / 252 SAtk
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Fire Punch
- Focus Punch
- Ice Punch
- Thunderbolt

gengar, but i went a little more offensive, didnt use substitute since i dont really have anything to support him with. fire punch is cool for forry's or magnetons who think they got a free switch in.

so yeah thats my team. probably not the best adv team but its really fun to play with at least.

dd ice beam tyranitar ohkos everything on your team except metagross. but lets face it, metagross won't be at full health most of the time.

who uses ice beam though

or who uses ddtar any more, even. But you are terribly weak to DDMence, my suggestion would be to put Vaporeon or Suicune over Moltres; Vaporeon also gets Wish which will help keep your team alive for longer, because it looks rather frail atm.

it's the most deadly option on ddtar simply because wearing down swampert with spikes is easier than wearing down flygon with rock slides. i doubt most people use it atm, but few good players play now anyway.

i also don't recommend using that metagross set, unless you are totally cool with getting walled by everything. cbgross is the way to go for offense. defensive gross is trash without proper support (which you don't have).

Raikou/Zapdos are going to give you a lot of problems, especially HP Ice variants, since Flygon is your only real resistance to electrics in general (and a poor one at that). People seem to forget that Zapdos/Raikou can use HP Ice lately, though, so you might be able to hold on longer.

What's the reasoning for your EV spread on Flygon? I'd take 6 points in speed before I'd take a 1% at best reduction in damage, and you'd be better off just throwing them in HP in that case anyway.

Aero can clean up your team a lot earlier than it should be able to, as can DDTar (or anything with speed + RS/EQ, really, like cookie/G80 mentioned) - Maybe Swampert over Moltres, since it addresses most of the above by itself.
