Tournament Rules:
  • General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.
  • This is a standard GSC 1v1 tournament. Resources can be found here.
  • Best of five. Double Elimination
  • If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
  • Battles must take place on main server or smogtours.
  • Replays are required.
  • Do not make baseless activity posts; get in contact with your opponent and report missed times / scheduling issues only.

Trashuny  vs  Micoy - trashuny is a great 1v1er with good knowledge of gsc, not sure I've seen Micoy play before

Yami  vs  piyush master - could go either way, bolding the more proven 1v1er here
LeCehlou  vs  Elo Bandit - both are knowledgeable on the meta, but Bandit has had a big hand in building the meta. Plus, he's the goat
XSTATIC COLD  vs  Holly - not bolding XSC is a crime
Jamez  vs  doc1203 - big matchup, probably the highlight match of the winners' bracket. Jamez is the more proven 1v1er overall, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him win, but doc has been part of gsc 1v1 since the tier was revived. I'm quite certain he has jamez beat when it comes to meta knowledge

RTM  vs  torterraxx - Highlight match of the round. Both have been a big part of gsc 1v1 and this can easily go either way. However, I've been very impressed with torterra's performance of late, both in gsc and other 1v1 formats, so I'm bolding them here.
