Golisopod acts as a strong revenge killer for offensive teams, utilising its powerful STAB First Impression to pressure faster offensive Pokemon such as Heliolisk, Gardevoir, Haxorus, and Celebi. In addition, its defensive typing and naturally high Defense stat allow it to act as a switch-in to threats such as Mamoswine, Doublade, Araquanid, and Cobalion. Liquidation and Leech Life are reliable STAB moves that allow Golisopod to threaten many slower Pokemon such as Rhyperior and Reuniclus, with Leech Life also serving as a form of recovery. Access to Spikes allows Golisopod to apply offensive pressure on forced switches and wear down its checks over time. Aqua Jet can be used on teams that don't need the utility Spikes provides, giving Golisopod the opportunity to revenge kill weakened threats such as Lucario and Chandelure that could otherwise survive First Impression. Knock Off can be used to cripple Golisopod's common switch-ins such as Noivern and Galarian Weezing, but it is generally not preferred over the utility Spikes or Aqua Jet provides. The EV spread allows Golisopod to outspeed Rhyperior and Araquanid, preventing them from activating Emergency Exit too early, and maximizes Golisopod's offensive presence and bulk. A spread of 40 HP / 252 Atk / 216 Spe can be used to outspeed Umbreon and hit it before it can activate Emergency Exit, but this spread cuts into Golisopod's bulk a lot. Heavy-Duty Boots allows Golisopod to avoid entry hazard damage and makes it easier for Golisopod to have control over Emergency Exit's activation.

Noivern appreciates Golisopod's ability to take Ice-type attacks and threaten Mamoswine, one of its most prominent revenge killers, and it can use U-turn to get Golisopod in safely on Pokemon that normally switch into Noivern, such as Rhyperior and Gigalith. Roserade forms a strong pairing with Golisopod and appreciates its ability to threaten Pokemon like Mamoswine, while Roserade threatens many of Golisopod's best checks such as Mantine, Jellicent, and defensive Galarian Weezing in addition to weakening their shared checks such as Noivern. Roserade providing Spikes support can also allow Golisopod to more freely run Aqua Jet. Choice Specs Gardevoir pressures the aforementioned defensive Pokemon while also benefiting from the Spikes support Golisopod provides. Mamoswine, Rhyperior, and Gigalith can all threaten Noivern, one of Golisopod's most common checks, while setting up Stealth Rock to form a hazard-stacking core with Golisopod. Setup sweepers such as Haxorus and Cobalion enjoy the Spikes support Golisopod provides, as it can make their job of cleaning late-game much easier. They also appreciate Golisopod's ability to pressure faster revenge killers such as Inteleon and Choice Scarf Flygon.

Golisopod acts as a strong revenge killer for offensive teams, utilising its powerful STAB First Impression to pressure frailer offensive Pokemon such as Heliolisk, Gardevoir and Haxorus. In addition, its defensive typing and good natural bulk allow it to act as a switch-in to threats such as Mamoswine, Lucario not a huge fan of this mention as both physical and special sets can put you into emergency exit range in 2 attacks, and resists first impression, you don't really force it out and get a free spike/heal or whatever like you do the other 2 and Araquanid in general something about emergency exit here would be a worthwhile addition, ie. switching in to proc emergency exit and get a safe switch in. Mention something about Aqua Jet being an option here as its slashed, talk about how its useful for checks like Chandy, probably mention the downsides ie. that no Spikes + Aqua Jet needs considerable chip to remove Chandy. The EV spread allows Golisopod to outspeed Hippowdon so that it can hit it with Liquidation before it can heal itself, while the rest of the spread maximises Golisopod's offensive presence and bulk.

Golisopod's best teammates appreciate its defensive utility, ability to set hazards and revenge kill opposing offensive Pokemon. Noivern appreciates Golisopod's ability to take Ice-type attacks and threaten Mamoswine, one of its most prominent revenge killers possibly mention Noivern being able to use U-turn to bring Golisopod in on stuff like Rhyp/Giga, this is kinda one sided atm. Golisopod struggles with Pokemon that resist its STAB moves or have great physical bulk, as it cannot threaten them on its own. Roserade forms a hazard-stacking core with Golisopod i mean yes it can, but tspikes + spikes can be a bit overkill and hard to keep up, and sleep powder can often be a better option when running this core, and can threaten shared checks like Noivern. and appreciates its ability to threaten Pokemon like Mamoswine and Bronzong, while Roserade threatens many of Golisopod's best checks such as Milotic, Vaporeon and Weezing, making it a very valuable partner. Mamoswine is also appreciated for its ability to threaten Noivern, one of Golisopod's most common answers on offensive teams. I'd also mention Gigalith as a defensive answer to Noivern here as its one of the best Goli checks. Gigalith forms a nice hazard stacking core with Golisopod with its ability to threaten most of the removers in the tier, and is a great check to Noivern, can switch into chandy if you arent running jet, as well as able to weaken weezing for goli with heavy slam, would be a great mention.

Golisopod acts as a strong revenge killer for offensive teams, utilising its powerful STAB First Impression to pressure frailer offensive Pokemon such as Heliolisk, Gardevoir and Haxorus. In addition, its defensive typing and good natural bulk I would specify it's naturally high Defense stat is what lets it check these allow it to act as a switch-in to threats such as Mamoswine, Doublade and Araquanid, either threatening them directly or using Emergency Exit to switch safely into a teammate that can deal with them appropriately. This seems really forced to get a line about Emergency Exit in this sentence, I would cut it out and add a line further down about it and how heavy duty boots helps play around it. Liquidation and Leech Life are reliable STAB moves that allow Golisopod to threaten many slower Pokemon, such as Rhyperior and Reuniclus, with Leech Life also serving as a form of recovery. Access to Spikes allows Golisopod to apply offensive pressure on forced switches and wear down its checks over time. Aqua Jet can be used on teams that don't need the utility Spikes provides. I would bring up it is primarily for Chandelure or picking off a weakened Lucario etc. than if you don't need Spikes because this line is unnecessary to have otherwise. The EV spread allows Golisopod to outspeed Hippowdon and Araquanid so that it can hit it with Liquidation before it can use Slack Off You can cut this and say it particularly helps with preventing Araq from potentially activating your Emergency Exit too early for example, while the rest of the spread maximises Golisopod's offensive presence and bulk.

Golisopod's best teammates appreciate its defensive utility, ability to set hazards and revenge kill opposing offensive Pokemon. Fluff you mention all of this in the opening line anyways. Noivern appreciates Golisopod's ability to take Ice-type attacks and threaten Mamoswine, one of its most prominent revenge killers. It is also capable of using U-turn to get Golisopod in on Pokemon that normally switch into Noivern, such as Rhyperior and Gigalith. You can very easily condense these two lines about Noivern into one. Golisopod struggles with Pokemon that resist its STAB moves or have great physical bulk, as it cannot threaten them on its own This line feels extremely redundant when you don't elaborate further then jump straight into Roserade so remove. Roserade forms a strong pairing with Golisopod and appreciates its ability to threaten Pokemon like Mamoswine, while Roserade threatens many of Golisopod's best checks such as Milotic, Vaporeon Mention Mantine and Jellicent over Milo and Vaporeon as they are far more reliable answers to Goli and defensive Galarian Weezing in addition to weakening their shared checks such as Noivern, making it a very valuable partner. I would bring up Specs Gardevoir here too, as it pressures these bulky Water-types, Noivern, and Weezing + benefits from Spikes support than making this solely about Roserade Mamoswine is also appreciated for its ability to threaten Noivern, one of Golisopod's most common answers on offensive teams. Gigalith has great defensive synergy with Golisopod and can also act as an answer to Noivern, while setting up Stealth Rock and stacking hazards with Golisopod. It can also use Heavy Slam to weaken Galarian Weezing. Just compress this stuff about Mamoswine and Gigalith together because they are both mentioned to deal with Noivern and they can both set up Stealth Rock, may as well throw Rhyperior as a mention too.

Golisopod acts as a strong revenge killer for offensive teams, utilising its powerful STAB First Impression to pressure frailer offensive Pokemon such as Heliolisk, Gardevoir, Haxorus and Celebi. I'd find a way to rephrase this sentence considering Celebi isn't frail at all and Haxorus isn't nearly to the extent as your other examples. I'd just remove 'frailer' or replace it with something like 'faster.' In addition, its defensive typing and naturally high Defense stat allow it to act as a switch-in to threats such as Mamoswine, Doublade and Araquanid. Consider adding Cobalion here as well. Aqua Jet can be used on teams that don't need the utility Spikes provides, giving Golisopod the opportunity to revenge kill weakened threats such as Lucario and Chandelure that could otherwise survive First Impression. Add Knock Off here (just as a moves mention) for its ability to burden some of Golisopod's switch-ins (be sure to provide examples), but also be sure to note the main drawback in being hard due to its other options' utility The EV spread allows Golisopod to outspeed Araquanid, preventing it from activating Emergency Exit too early, while the rest of the spread maximises Golisopod's offensive presence and bulk. Adjust this sentence to reflect the new EV spread I've provided. Also add a sentence on adding 216 Speed investment here in order to outrun Umbreon, but bring up that it cuts into Golisopod's bulk rather heavily.Heavy-Duty Boots allow Golisopod to avoid entry hazard damage and make it easier for Golisopod to have control over Emergency Exit's activation.

Noivern appreciates Golisopod's ability to take Ice-type attacks and threaten Mamoswine, one of its most prominent revenge killers, and can U-turn to get Golisopod in safely on Pokemon that normally switch into Noivern, such as Rhyperior and Gigalith. Roserade forms a strong pairing with Golisopod and appreciates its ability to threaten Pokemon like Mamoswine, while Roserade threatens many of Golisopod's best checks such as Mantine, Jellicent and defensive Galarian Weezing in addition to weakening their shared checks such as Noivern. Add here that Roserade can allow Golis to more freely run Aqua Jet. Choice Specs Gardevoir pressures the aforementioned defensive Pokemon, while also benefitting from the Spikes support Golisopod provides. Mamoswine, Rhyperior and Gigalith can all threaten Noivern, one of Golisopod's most common checks, while setting up Stealth Rock to form a hazard-stacking core with Golisopod. Bring up some examples of setup sweepers that appreciate Golisopod's Spikes support as well as its ability to take on opposing sweepers with First Impression.

tbh this was very well written and mostly is just missing out on Smogon-specific conventions (ie Oxford comma is mandatory, American English spelling of words is used). gp 1/1 once done
