Rotom-Wheeze looks to be a good disruptive stall fusion that functions as a status spreader with perfectly accurate Toxic and the option to run Thunder Wave or Will-O-Wisp to hinder regardless of typing. Beyond that, it's ability is very much so top tier and leaves it with one rare offensive type weakness since even mold breakers can't hit it with Ground. Also since Rotom gets Nasty Plot now it could even function as a good wallbreaker since it's immune to Toxic. I can easily see it being a staple on Stall and Balance due to its solid list of roles it can fulfill. It was my easiest vote this slate and definitely deserved the win.
Boomer is HO trash with a side of instant loss if it switches in on the right move. It's basically always going to do the same thing when used but despite that it's probably still gonna be pretty good since that special attack paired with the ability and movepool makes a very dangerous mix. I don't like this fusion because it's a one trick pony scarfer that doesn't really add anything new to the meta.
Tapu Apex is solid on both Stall teams & teams looking to abuse status. It creates the potential to run leftovers on Poison Healers and have it actually work, as well as an activator for Guts & Quick Feet abusers. The only thing you really need to worry about is that it lacks Regenerator like original pex has so you need to run Recover to keep it around. I might have to workshop a strong Zangoose fusion to pair with this now.
Terror is actually very versatile for something that seems to obviously inclined towards Stall. Its ability gives it an advantage against HO while also shutting down Prankster and completely dabbing on atespeeders. It can function as a pivot cleric thanks to its slow U-turn and great support movepool. It's basically Ferrothorn if it had a slightly stronger ability, better bulk, and knew Taunt, Trop Kick, U-turn, and Aromatherapy. Easy vote here too.
Xyerom-D was originally made just to be a big versatile stat stick, but I brought it back specifically because it's exactly what Passadust teams needed to be viable, but more on that later. Excellent mixed bulk paired with a decent speed and usable offenses let it do whatever it wants to. It can run Specs for super powerful Psycho Boost/Draco Meteor and ability to cripple walls with Trick, it can run Dragon Dance + Weakness Policy to abuse its common weaknesses and high bulk to sweep with huge mixed offenses, it can run Recover + Leftovers to PP stall, it can run Spikes + Stealth Rock to spam hazards while still being able to hit hard, or as mentioned earlier you can run it with Passadust and make things interesting. Passadust is a weird fusion that turns everything on your team's ability into Regenerator until one of them faints. The main issues are that most fusions don't want to lose their ability and that it doesn't give you many ways to work around your opponent having abilities that give them dangerous power boosts. Xyerom-D is both infinitely stronger with Regenerator and knows the move Skill Swap to push Passadust's Chain Heal ability onto the enemy team to supress their abilities until you score a KO, which can be insanely disruptive against many HO style teams which were Passadust's main weakness. It can also be used to get past fat poison heal stall mons (wait 15 turns then use Skill Swap on turn 16 and laugh as their toxic kills them from full) or Stall mons in general that you don't want to deal with the abilities of, though you should be careful giving Stall teams Chain Heal since it could screw you over pretty hard. The main reason I resubbed Xyerom-D after all this time was Suplexelpus winning last slate. Suplexelpus also benefits greatly from Passadust's ability while providing another extremely useful tool to help teams centered around it get past their problems. That tool being Octolock. Xyerom-D can use Skill Swap to erase the abilities of enemy Stall fusions while Suplexelpus can use Octolock to prevent them from using Chain Heal to their advantage and eventually weaken them to the point where it can KO them. With Xyerom-D & Suplexelpus you can manage to get past the two main weaknesses of Passadust teams to turn what many people have considered to be a bad meme fusion for so long into a disruptive and difficult to break core of a team. So, thank you to everyone that voted for it this slate, you helped me make an old fusion I've seen the potential in for a long time finally viable.
Crayquazant is interesting in that it'll hit quite hard thanks to solid offenses with a great movepool and STABs, but it also has an ability that could end up chipping away the last of an opponent's HP after you hit them hard or it could end up getting a free burn right after it goes down. I see Crayquazant as a mon that will generally always trade 1 for 1 in matches while having the potential to easily net a 2nd KO or more. The main weakness I see to it is that 110 isn't that great of speed (by FE standards) for a fairly frail (by FE standards) mixed attacker and that I feel it will be hard to find a good time to use Dragon Dance. I feel this is one of those fusions we will need to see in action before we can properly judge its power.
