[SET COMMENTS]
Ferroseed is one of the LC metagame's best walls, being able to sponge neutral hits from strong threats like Staryu, Abra, and Porygon and then spread Thunder Wave. Ferroseed checks two of LC's three prominent Poison-types, Foongus and Mareanie, with resistance or immunity to their STAB attacks and Foongus's Spore. Ferroseed's Knock Off takes advantage of forcing out the Pokemon it checks, supporting teammates by removing Eviolite from common checks like Natu and Mienfoo. Ferroseed is one of the few viable Stealth Rock setters and can also be used to set Spikes.

Ferroseed creates an effective defensive core with Poison-types like Koffing and Mareanie, checking the strong special attackers that threaten them while also benefitting from them checking strong Fighting-type attackers, like Mienfoo. Frillish and the aforementioned Mareanie also help Ferroseed by checking Fire-types like Ponyta and Vulpix. Frillish and Natu help deal with opposing Natu, which has Magic Bounce and Heat Wave to very effectively deal with Ferroseed. Ferroseed can struggle to check Fire Punch Abra and Trick Porygon, and Mareanie's Knock Off can also weaken it. Partners like Diglett and Porygon can help check or remove them. Magnet Pull Magnemite traps and sets up on Ferroseed; Ground-type teammates like Diglett, Trapinch, and Mudbray can deter these sweeps.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Ferroseed can use an alternative EV spread that drops bulk to reach 9 Speed. 9 Speed beats paralyzed 17 Speed Pokemon, which is especially useful against Mienfoo. Revenge is an option to beat Salac Berry Magnet Pull Magnemite; it 2HKOes, overcoming Rest. Revenge Ferroseed also beats Pawniard, LC's only other Stealth Rock setter. Explosion Ferroseed can be used on teams that need a last resort option to KO threats like paralyzed Mienfoo and Natu. Bullet Seed helps Ferroseed beat Magnet Pull Magnemite, and it can do more damage to neutral targets like Natu after Roost, but it leaves Ferroseed without Giga Drain's recovery.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Natu**: Natu can switch into Ferroseed's status moves with Magic Bounce and threaten massive damage with Heat Wave. Ferroseed users must be careful of allowing Natu to impede progress; however, it doesn't appreciate Knock Off.

**Fire- and Fighting-types**: Mienfoo, a tier staple, can heavily damage Ferroseed with High Jump Kick, and Fire-type hits from Ponyta and Vulpix cleanly OHKO Ferroseed. These Pokemon do not appreciate being paralyzed by Thunder Wave or getting their items removed by Knock Off, however.

**Coverage**: Galarian Ponyta, Abra, and Koffing can run Mystical Fire, Fire Punch, or Fire Blast to heavily damage Ferroseed and prevent it from checking them over the course of a game. Mareanie's Knock Off compromises Ferroseed's walling ability.

Paragraph 1: You don't need these headers
Ferroseed serves as one of the LC metagame's few defensively oriented Pokemon, being able to sponge neutral and not-very-effective hits from strong threats like Staryu, Abra, and Porygon, and threaten them out with Thunder Wave, spreading status throughout an enemy team. Mention here that Ferroseed can also make progress with Knock Off. Ferroseed also checks two of three of the prominent Poison-types of the tier, Foongus and Mareanie, through resisting or being immune to both of their STAB attacks and easily absorbing Foongus's Spore. Ferroseed is also one of the few viable Stealth Rock setters in LC, and can also be used to set Spikes . Ferroseed can struggle to check Abra and Porygon when they run Fire Punch and Trick, respectively, and can also be weakened by Mareanie through getting its Eviolite removed by Knock Off. This EV spread maximizes Ferroseed's bulk, while putting the rest of its EVs into Special Attack to strengthen its Giga Drain.

Paragraph 2:
Ferroseed serves as an effective defensive core with Poison-types like Koffing and Mareanie, being able to check the strong special attackers that threaten them while also benefitting from Koffing and Mareanie's ability to check the strong Fighting-type attackers, like Mienfoo, that threaten Ferroseed. (The way this is worded right now implies that it forms a core with both Koffing and Mareanie) Frillish and the aforementioned Mareanie also help Ferroseed by checking the Fire-types that threaten it, like Ponyta and Vulpix. Mention that Frillish along with Natu check opposing Natu for Ferroseed. Magnet Pull Magnemite (both the Iron Defense and Salac Berry variants) trap Ferroseed and boost up in preparation for a team sweep; Ground-Type teammates like Diglett, Trapinch, or Mudbray can deter these sweeps.
[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Ferroseed can use an alternative EV spread that drops bulk to reach 9 Speed. Reaching 9 Speed allows for Ferroseed to outspeed paralyzed 17 Speed Pokemon, which is especially useful for opposing Mienfoo: they are now outsped and can be hit with Giga Drain, but requires a loss of bulk that makes Ferroseed much more susceptible to being Knocked Out. Salac Berry Magnet Pull Magnemite can be broken by Revenge or Bullet Seed Ferroseed; both of these options knock out Magnemite from full in two hits, KOing through a Rest. Bullet Seed doesn't actually do this; it's a 4HKO at best. You should also mention the suicide lead set on screens offense that runs Stealth Rock/Thunder Wave/Protect/Explosion with a Focus Sash.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Natu**: Natu can switch into Ferroseed's Stealth Rock or Thunder Wave, and can threaten to kill or deal massive damage to Ferroseed with its Heat Wave. When it is on the opposing team, Ferroseed users must be careful of allowing Natu to impede progress through blocking hazards and "sponging" status conditions. Mention that Natu doesn't enjoy taking a Knock Off.

After Natu, you should have sections on Fire types and Fighting-types. If you need help writing these, please PM me

**Ponyta-Galar**: Ponyta-Galar carries Mystical Fire, a strong Fire-Type attack that can kill Ferroseed outright. Care must be taken to ensure that Ferroseed is never left in a situation where Ponyta-Galar can KO it (either in a situation where Ponyta-Galar has a Life Orb, or when Ponyta-Galar has boosted up to +1 with Calm Mind). Rework this section into one on Fire-type coverage, mentioning Koffing's Fire Blast and Abra's Fire Punch along with Ponyta-Galar's Mystical Fire.

Ferroseed serves as is one of the LC metagame's few defensively oriented Pokemon best defensive walls, being able to sponge neutral and not-very-effective hits from strong threats like Staryu, Abra, and Porygon, and threaten them out with Thunder Wave, spreading status throughout an enemy team. Ferroseed's Knock Off also takes advantage of forcing out the Pokemon it checks, supporting fellow teammates by crippling opposing Pokemon through removing Eviolites. (I would mention specific targets for this; the biggest two you want to mention is Mienfoo and Natu, since they are the two that are most likely to switch into Ferro) Ferroseed also checks two of three of the prominent Poison-types of the tier, Foongus and Mareanie, through resisting or being immune to both of their STAB attacks and easily absorbing Foongus's Spore.(I would move this sentence after the first one) Ferroseed is also one of the few viable Stealth Rock setters in LC, and can also be used to set Spikes. - Mention Explosion (it is an option on certain teams to surprise KO foes, especially as a last resort option)
- Mention Bullet Seed as a way to beat trapper Mag and potentially punish foes like Natu for using Roost, but it makes Ferro lack recovery

Checks and Counters - Some parts are excessively wordy and unnecessary info
===================

Natu doesn't appreciate being hit by Knock Off, requiring careful prediction by the Natu user; however, Ferroseed making one wrong prediction leads to a very big reward for an opposing Natu.

**Fire- and Fighting-Types**: Despite Ferroseed's high bulk, it is still incredibly vulnerable to strong super effective STAB from the tier's myriad Fire- and Fighting-Types. Mienfoo, a tier staple, can chunk Ferroseed for a very large portion of its health with Hi Jump Kick, and Fire-Type hits from Ponyta-Kanto and Vulpix very cleanly OHKO Ferroseed, without any chance of counterplay from the Ferroseed user. Ferroseed must be careful in order to avoid inviting in these Pokemon on a Giga Drain or Knock Off. (Just mention that they do not like Thunder Wave and Knock Off.)

**Coverage**: Because Ferroseed is a very reliable defensive check, many Pokemon run Fire-Type coverage to beat Ferroseed, a Pokemon that would otherwise wall them. Ponyta-Galar, Abra, and Koffing can run Mystical Fire, Fire Punch, and Fire Blast, respectively, to heavily damage Ferroseed and prevent it from being a check to these Pokemon over the course of a game. Care should be exercised when using Ferroseed to check these Pokemon. (Talk about Knock Off Mareanie here too)
