It's been barely two months since Espeon dropped from NU, but it has already cemented itself as a top-tier wallbreaker with great Speed, Special Attack, and neutral coverage, fitting in the popular balance and bulky offense teams in the tier. Dazzling Gleam hits Dark-types like Scrafty and Sneasel that can take advantage of Psychic. Shadow Ball is Espeon's strongest move again Steel-types like Aggron, as well as threatening opposing Psychic- and Ghost-types like Mesprit and Jellicent. Trick cripples switch-ins like Audino and Togedemaru and annoys bulky setup sweepers like Calm Mind Uxie. Magic Bounce is great in a pinch for denying entry hazards. Espeon is fast but frail, so it appreciates slow pivots that can get it in safely like Wishiwashi and Togedemaru. These Pokemon can switch into Pokemon that force Espeon out, such as Lycanroc, Ninjask, and Whimsicott. Entry hazard support from Pokemon like Ferroseed and Qwilfish is key to chip Espeon's switch-ins. Ribombee is also a solid partner, as it appreciates Steel-types being weakened and can set up when shared switch-ins are worn down.

It's been barely 2 months since Espeon dropped from NU, but it has already cemented itself as a top tier breaker due to a great Speed tier, a high SpA stat, and coverage to hit most of the tier neutrally. Dazzling Gleam hits Dark-types like Scrafty and Sneasel that can take advantage of Psychic. Shadow Ball is Espeon's strongest move again Steel-types like Aggron, as well as threatening Ghost-types like Cofagrigus mention hitting opposing psychics and Jellicent. Trick cripple switch-ins like Ferroseed Audino and Togedemaru and annoys bulky setup sweepers like Calm Mind Uxie. Espeon is fast but frail, so it appreciates slow pivots that can get it in safely like Wishiwashi and Togedemaru; the latter can also switch into Ninjask and Whimsicott for it. Entry hazards support from Pokemon like Palossand Ferroseed and Qwilfish is key in order to get chip damage on Espeon's switch-ins. Ribombee is also a solid partner, as it appreciates Steel-types being weakened and can set up when shared switch-ins are worn down.

u mention jask and whimsi but i feel like itd help to have an actual line on what offensively checks espeon
feel like a mention of magic bounce utility should be somewhere too since u have a fair amount of extra room
what type of teams does espeon normally find itself on?
