Easter Comes Early This Year Tournament / Augsburg, Germany March 28 - 30, 2010!

Four years after the first tourney in the city of Augsburg the traditional tournament returns: Easter Comes Early This Year Tournament 2010.
Since 2006 the biggest privately organised German Pokémon tournament takes place in the lovely and picturesque city of Augsburg every year - for the first time since its debut around Easter!
Five years in a row, the conference room of the Wasserwacht Augsburg has been the PoKéMoN Dome for heated battles and hot parties!

Location
Seminarzentrum des Förderkreis der Wasserwacht e.V.
Postillionstr. 3
D-86179 Augsburg
Germany

Date
Saturday March 27, 2010 - Monday March 29, 2010

Housing
During the tournament, the entrants can sleep in the location for which a sleeping bag and a sleeping pad is highly recommended. Before and after the tourney housing can be provided for foreigners by members of the German community. This will be organised by me and Hilikus whose contact data can be found at the end of this posting.

Travelling
Everyone planning to attend has to organise travelling on his own but Hilikus and me will of course be glad to assist you if you have questions.
You can fly to Munich, several European and even American airlines have stops there. After your arrival you can go directly to Augsburg by train (costs 10.50€ one way). You will probably need help so there will be Germans waiting in Munich for you who take care of further travel issues then and travel to Augsburg together with you (it is a 30 minute ride by train).
If you are from Europe and wish to come to Augsburg by car, do that, free parking possibilities are available at the location.

Entry fee
The entry fee depends on the number of entrants. The price to rent the conference rooms is approximately 300€ which will be paid by all participants regardless of if they enter the tournament or not. The more people participate, the lower the entry fee will be so try to persuade people to come with you!
All of the entry fee money will be invested to pay the room. The tournaments hosts do not have any financial advantages.
THERE IS NO CASH POT FOR THE WINNERS OF THE TOURNAMENT. REMEMBER THIS; YOU CANNOT WIN CASH PRIZES!
The entry fee has to be paid when entering the location.

Food
Everyone is responsible for getting his/her own food. There is a refrigerator in the kitchen of the conference rooms and there are cookers and ovens as well.
Supermarkets are within a 15 minute walk, we will go to the supermarkets together at saturday and have members with cars ready to bring your food to the location.
There is also a pizzeria and besides there is the possibility of sending someone to McDonalds to get a meal.

Bring
- Cash for entry, food, travel costs (train)
-PoKéMoN- and Gaming-Equipment (Controller, DS, Game)
-Sleeping bag and sleeping pad

Nice to see people step up and host tournaments^^, it´s to expensive for me at the moment (no prizes, only one tournament etc, aka bad reasons) but if it grows big I might attend at a later tournament(if it´s BIG/contains brawl/meleetournaments as well)
