Duke TIP - Wiiiiiiin!!

Ok well I just remembered something.

Has anyone here been to a program called Duke Tip?

For those who don't know, it is run by Duke University in North Carolina. It gets kids with high potential who tested on college entry exams exceptionally well (like the ACT and SAT (Scored a 26 on the ACT :3) ). It is an intense program where you learn absolutely TONS about what course you choose.
Of course, There is fun involved! In a college style dorm complex (always on a college university somewhere in the Southeast US), there are dances, kickball tournaments, and general fun stuff outside of class.

It's for kids going to 8th grade all the way to those going in 12th.

one term of 3 weeks is the equivalent of a year in that course in high school or a college semester!!!

So discuss. If anyone has any questions, I can probably answer them.

I got a 1210 on the SAT in 7th grade, I thought it was just a random "preparation for college" thing, not some actual attempt to get people together in a nerd cell.

Yeah, there are hundreds, thousands of colleges with the exact same program. Center for Talent Development is a particularly good one, going from elementary school onward.
