Xatu is a prominent user of dual screens thanks to a useful ability in Magic Bounce and access to Teleport, which lets it provide its teammates with setup opportunities. However, it faces competition from Espeon, which is faster, can set up dual screens more easily against foes such as Cobalion and Heliolisk, and also has Magic Bounce. Furthermore, common Knock Off users such as Incineroar are also difficult for Xatu to deal with, as it relies heavily on Light Clay to support its teammates. Magic Bounce not only lets Xatu block entry hazards and Taunt but also prevents its dual screens from being removed by opposing Defog users. Thunder Wave cripples faster foes such as Cobalion and Noivern for teammates, as well as Pokemon that would otherwise take advantage of Xatu's passivity such as Barbaracle and Pangoro. Psychic is an option that lets Xatu nail Roserade, Machamp, and Toxtricity; however, it has less utility overall than Thunder Wave. 216 Speed EVs allows Xatu to outspeed Roserade, while the rest are put into bulk to let it set up dual screens more easily.

Xatu is especially vulnerable to Pokemon such as Pangoro and Swords Dance Incineroar that can exploit it for free turns while it's trying to set up dual screens. Teammates that can revenge kill or set up on these threats such as Cobalion and Barbaracle are good options. Cobalion in particular is an excellent teammate for its ability to switch into Knock Off from the likes of Escavalier and Pangoro. Swords Dance Incineroar is able to check Pokemon such as Celebi and Doublade and can take advantage of dual screens to set up and secure a potential Weakness Policy boost more easily. Pokemon that can outspeed and force out Xatu such as Heliolisk and Haxorus are important to have checks for, as they can prevent Xatu from setting up dual screens at the beginning of a match. Alolan Dugtrio can set up Stealth Rock and threaten Heliolisk with Earthquake. Slurpuff can check Haxorus under dual screens and appreciates finding more opportunities to set up with Belly Drum. Other setup sweepers that benefit from dual screen support such as Shift Gear Toxtricity, Linoone, and Dragon Dance Haxorus are also great options.

Xatu is a prominent user of dual screens thanks to a useful ability in Magic Bounce and access to Teleport to give teammates setup opportunities. However, it suffers competition from Espeon, which has a higher Speed to set up dual screens easier while still having the same ability. mention why espeon's speed tier sets it apart. outspeeding and threatening cobalion is a huge reason for example, since cobalion is often one of the few mons that can take a haxorus/linoone/barb hit. heliolisk and haxorus are also probably worth mentions, especially since lisk threatens xatu a bunch Knock Off users are also difficult for Xatu to deal with, as it heavily relies on Light Clay to support its teammates with dual screens. this is true but the main issue is that the most prominent knock off user in the tier, incineroar, ruins xatu entirely, might be worth rewording to reflect that Despite all of this, Xatu remains a reliable dual screens setter for many hyper offensive teams. Magic Bounce not only allows for Xatu to block entry hazards and Taunt, but also prevents screens from being removed by Defog. Teleport provides momentum for a teammate to be brought in safely. Thunder Wave cripples faster foes such as Cobalion and Noivern for teammates, and Pokemon that would otherwise abuse Xatu's passivity such as Gardevoir and Pangoro. Psychic is an alternate option to nail Roserade and Toxtricity, however it has less utility overall than Thunder Wave. The EV spread provided allows Xatu to outspeed Roserade, while the rest are put into bulk to help Xatu set up dual screens easier.

Xatu is especially vulnerable to Pokemon such as Pangoro and Dragon Dance Necrozma noooot really? dd necro can only set up on you if it's lum and even then it can't ohko you behind reflect, even at +2. mention sd incineroar here instead. that can exploit it for free turns while trying to set up dual screens. you haven't actually listed checks to pangoro or dd necro/sd incin here - ho doesn't really have many but you should mention that teammates that can RK or set up on these mons, like slurpuff or sd incin, are important Teammates such as Cobalion and Swords Dance Incineroar respectively can check foes that force Xatu out such as Gigalith and Chandelure. Cobalion in particular is an excellent teammate for its ability to cripple the checks it shares with Xatu via Thunder Wave, while also being able they don't share any checks really. noivern doesn't check xatu, doublade doesn't really mind the twave usually, etc. to switch into Knock Off from the likes of Escavalier and the aforementioned Pangoro. Swords Dance Incineroar is able to check Pokemon such as Celebi and Doublade, while abusing dual screens to set up easier. Pokemon that can outspeed and force out Xatu such as Heliolisk and Haxorus are important to have checks for, as they can prevent Xatu from setting up dual screens at the beginning of a match. Alolan Dugtrio can set up Stealth Rock and bring Xatu in via Memento you really do not want to waste your memento to bring in xatu of all things, while threatening Heliolisk with a potential Earthquake. Ribombee can check Haxorus and appreciates dual screens being up to find more opportunities with Quiver Dance don't rlly like this mention. i'm a big ribombee fan but even under screens it's frail, weak even when set up and qd bee is generally just not viable. Other setup sweepers who work well under dual screens such as Shift Gear Toxtricity, Linoone, and Dragon Dance Haxorus are also great options for teammates.

Implement Lilburr 's AM check, but also add the following;

-> bring up how screens let sd incin run weakness policy more viably

-> " and Pokemon that would otherwise abuse Xatu's passivity such as Gardevoir and Pangoro." considering gard is slower and just gets light screen'd on dont like that mention

1/2 after. Excellent work as always Lily.
