[SET COMMENTS]

Drilbur is a useful role-compression choice in Little Cup, able to both set and remove entry hazards. Mold Breaker means that, unlike other Stealth Rock users, Drilbur does not have to fear Natu's Magic Bounce. Furthermore, having the rare Rapid Spin makes Drilbur one of the most efficient entry hazard removers in the tier and lets it boost its Speed for late-game cleaning. High Horsepower is slightly weaker and less accurate than Earthquake, but allows Drilbur to work better with Grookey. Rock Slide hits Flying- and Bug-types such as Natu and Larvesta. Finally, its Ground typing makes it a comfortable switch-in to Poison-types like Koffing, eating any of its attacks and forcing it out.

Drilbur makes a fantastic partner for Ferroseed, as they form a potent hazard stacking core with Stealth Rock, Spikes, and Rapid Spin; additionally, Ferroseed checks the Water-types that threaten Drilbur. Fighting-types like Mienfoo and Iron Fist Timburr also greatly appreciate having Drilbur on their side, as it counters Koffing and can reliably set Stealth Rock to cripple Larvesta . Drilbur struggles against Grass-type Pokemon, meaning it has high synergy with Fire- and Poison-types like Larvesta and Koffing, which also appreciate Drilbur removing entry hazards. It also struggles against Water-types, making Electric- and Grass-type Pokemon like Magnemite and Grookey good choices for teammates.

Other Options
=============

Drilbur can opt to run a bulkier spread of 116 HP / 76 Atk / 196 Def / 120 Spe with an Impish Nature to better counter Pokemon like Tyrunt. Another option is replacing Rock Slide with Rock Tomb, exchanging some power for speed control. Alternatively, moves like Poison Jab to hit Grookey and Morelull on the switch, Toxic to cripple Shellos and Cosmic Power Natu, and Swords Dance to potentially sweep can be used instead.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Grookey**: Grookey can switch in safely against Drilbur unless it is running the rare Poison Jab. Once it is in, Grookey threatens a KO with priority Grassy Glide and can punish a switch with U-turn.

**Water-types**: Drilbur does poorly into most Water-types. Frillish can easily tank Drilbur's attacks, can block Rapid Spin, and can do huge damage back. Carvanha and Staryu both outpace Drilbur and KO it easily, and Shellos can set up on it for free unless Drilbur is carrying the niche Toxic.

Drilbur is an interesting role-compression choice in Little Cup, being able to both set and remove hazards. Its access to the ability Mold Breaker means that, unlike other Stealth Rock users, Drilbur does not have to fear Natu's Magic Bounce. Furthermore, having access to the rare Rapid Spin makes Drilbur also one of the most efficient hazard removers in the tier. Finally, its Ground typing is not resisted by most of the tier, and makes it a comfortable switch-in to Poison-types like Koffing, eating any of its attacks and forcing it out with Earthquake, or High Horsepower if paired with a Grookey.(Do we need to emphasize the "not resisted by most of the tier part"?) Rock Slide is used as coverage to hit Flying and Bug type Pokemon hits Flying- and Bug-types such as Natu and Larvesta which are unafraid of Earthquake. Having access to Rapid Spin makes Drilbur means Drilbur is only contested by Timburr and Staryu as hazard removers, with spinning only being contested by the latter.(repetitive info) The EV spread maximises Drilbur's Speed and Attack, with the rest invested into HP over Defense to prevent Porygon's Download from gaining a Special Attack Boost. (max/max spread)

Drilbur makes a fantastic partner for Ferroseed, as Drilbur's Stealth Rock means Ferroseed is free to run Spikes, compounding the hazard damage taken by enemies. Fighting types like Mienfoo and Iron Fist Timburr also greatly appreciate having Drilbur on their side, not only as a counter to Koffing, but also due to it's ease of setting Stealth Rock crippling common Fighting counter Larvesta. Drilbur as a ground type struggles against Grass and Water pokemon, so Drilbur has high synergy with Fire or Poison types for the former, and Grass or Electric types for the latter.(This is incredibly vague. Please list some examples.)

Other Options
=============

Drilbur can opt to run a bulkier spread, sacrificing some Speed and Attack for HP and Defense, allowing Drilbur to better counter Pokemon like Tyrunt after a Dragon Dance.(I would just give the EV spread) Another option for customizing Drilbur is replacing Rock Slide with another move, such as Rock Tomb to exchange some power for speed control, Poison Jab to hit Grookey on the switch, or Swords Dance to break walls and serve as a pseudo-double dance threat with Rapid Spin's speed boost. (Rock Tomb is really the only alternative. The other two are extremely niche at best and should not be clumped together with Rock Tomb.) (Add Toxic as a niche tool to beat Cosmic Power Natu and Shellos)

Checks and Counters
===================

**Grookey**: Grookey can switch in safely against Drilbur unless it is running the rare Poison Jab and makes a good prediction. Once it is in, Grookey threatens a one-shot KO with priority Grassy Glide, and can punish your escape a switch with U-Turn U-turn. This makes Pokemon that switch in well to Grookey such as Koffing, Flame Body Ponyta, and Larvesta fantastic partners for Drilbur. (We don't talk about teammates in this section)

**Frillish**: Frillish can easily tank Drilbur's attacks, can block Rapid Spin, and can do huge damage with Scald, this means that Frillish answers like Ferroseed, Pawniard and Grookey are greatly appreciated as partners for Drilbur. (Same as above. This point should also talk about other Water-types such as Staryu, Carvanha, and Shellos.)

Furthermore, having the rare Rapid Spin makes Drilbur also one of the most efficient hazard removers in the tier (The Speed boost can also let Drilbur clean lategame) . (Add a sentence on Earthquake vs High Horsepower and when you would run HH) Rock Slide hits Flying- and Bug-types such as Natu and Larvesta. Finally, its Ground typing makes it a comfortable switch-in to Poison-types like Koffing, eating any of its attacks and forcing it out. (Moving this sentence here to improve flow)

Drilbur makes a fantastic partner for Ferroseed, as Drilbur's Stealth Rock means Ferroseed is free to run Spikes, compounding the hazard damage taken by enemies foes. (It's also the best answer to opposing Water-types) Fighting-types like Mienfoo and Iron Fist Timburr also greatly appreciate having Drilbur on their side, not only as a counter to Koffing, but also due to its ease of setting Stealth Rock, (RC) crippling the common Fighting-type counter Larvesta. Drilbur as a Ground-type struggles against Grass-type Pokemon, meaning Drilbur has high synergy with Fire- or Poison-types like Larvesta and Koffing. (Splitting this sentence into two. Mention that these Pokemon also really appreciate Drilbur's hazard removal) and It also struggles against Water-types, making Electric- and Grass-type Pokemon like Magnemite and Grookey good choices for teammates.
