Round 3 deadline! 5/16 matches were not completed by the deadline. Remember that we are now in top 16, so you only have to win two more matches for some money. That means you probably should play your games. Please play your games :)

  • Crozzo vs. AuraRayquaza - Crozzo missed the scheduled time and forfeited the match. Win goes to AuraRayquaza.
  • papiloco vs. Yuichi - Yuichi initially scheduled, but papiloco was initially slow to respond and didn't provide a specific time to schedule for, only exchanging timezones. I was initially going to rule this as an activity win for Yuichi, but papiloco has shown exceptional effort in the past few days to attempt to get the match completed, and I will honor that effort. I have granted an extension until Tuesday, January 5th at 11:59 PM EST for this match to be completed.
  • n10sit vs. qsns - qsns forfeited the set (which btw was a real shame, was looking forward to watching this one). Conversation was on PS. Win goes to n10sit.
  • zugubu royale vs. Cheese5555 - I have not seen either player attempt to schedule. Given Cheese5555's request for an extension, I will honor it, but please post on either of your walls the time and date of play. EDIT: I am a moron, they definitely attempted to schedule. An extension is granted until Tuesday, January 5th at 11:59 PM EST.
  • Frania vs. spanishlines - Frania initiated conversation and offered times to play, while spanishlines was vague and did not offer times to play. They decided not to respond to Frania's note on Tuesday that they would be unable to play after Friday, despite being online on Smogon since then. Considering this, and also that spanishlines was involved in two activity calls already this tournament that were coinflips, win goes to Frania.

All matches that will be completed by deadline this round are finished. Thanks for playing and scheduling well this round! Due to technical issues, I'm granting Yuichii and n10siT an extension until Tuesday, January 12th at 11:59 PM. Since I play the winner of this match, I'll be flexible with this deadline if it would help getting the match completed. I'd much rather see the game played.

Now that we are in top 8, one more win will earn you some money! I look forward to watching some higher stakes Doubles Ubers. I may do some formal commentary and analysis of matches on my YouTube channel going forward (no promises, but I'm leaning towards it).

cant believe i spent 1 hr facing yawn toise that clicked yawn 18 times and still lost my gacha funds,,,
