Name: Memento Cottonee

Change the set name to Memento.

Cottonee has access to some good support moves and prankster, which usually allows it to get its mementos off. However, it is not used often due the availability of far superior options for memento support. It is practically never used as the only memento user on a team, rather it plays second fiddle to something like memento diglett.

You mention Cottonee's good support movepool and access to Prankster, but don't really elaborate on what it does with them, which is provide utility support on hyper offensive set-up spam teams. You should also mention Cottonee's typing, which lets it check threats to hyper offense like Mienfoo and Grookey, in this section.

It has some redeeming qualities, namely it's ability to lure in and knock off two of the most problematic checks for zigzagoon, the belly drum sweeper it facilitates practically all the time.

You need to mention what the two most problematic checks for Zigzagoon are (Ferroseed and Pawniard). You should also cut out the second clause and replace it with more succinct language like "sweepers such as Zigzagoon".

Dazzling Gleam is a decent STAB move to deal some damage, and encore and defog give it a bit more flexibility and purpose in the team.

"Deal some damage" is a little vague here; just saying that Dazzling Gleam is Cottonee's most powerful STAB attack is fine. You should also briefly elaborate on what Encore and Defog do: Encore provides additional setup opportunities, while Defog helps out hazard-weak teammates like Magby.

Nevertheless, it needs an extremely specific situation to be viable, leaving it mostly unused due to its tiny niche compared to other options. This effect is exacerbated by its mediocre-at-best bulk and lacking offensive capabilities, unable to OHKO uninvested eviolite mienfoo using a STAB Supereffective Dazzling Gleam. Cottonee can be put to great use in some situations, but the sheer number of situations where it will be nothing more than dead weight means that this pokemon should be picked only when absolutely necessary.

You can get rid of this whole section; it doesn't really add anything of substance to the analysis.

You'll need to briefly mention why Eviolite is the item on the set (basically it allows Cottonee to avoid the OHKO from most attacks), and add a section on Cottonee's best teammates. These are the setup sweepers it supports (most notably Zigzagoon but also secondary sweepers like Magby and Tyrunt) and other support Pokemon, such as Diglett and screens Natu.

Lastly, please give the Spelling and Grammar Standards a read-over, particularly the section on capitalization, and make sure the analysis follows those standards. Tag me once you've implemented all this and I'll stamp it!

You should emphasize a lot that enabling Zigzagoon is the biggest reason to use Cottonee. Afterwards, you can mention the other setup sweepers like Magby and Tyrunt. As for support Pokemon, I think we can cut it out, since we talked about how it synergizes with lead Memento Diglett earlier in the paragraph and screens Natu is never really used with Cottonee.)
