Thanks to its very good Speed tier which allows it to outspeed the majority of offensive Pokemon, its decent Attack and great STAB move with Pyro Ball, Cinderace is able to pressure a vast majority of the AAA metagame. Pyro Ball is its main Attack, it's able to score OHKO or 2HKO on almost everything that doesn't resist Fire. Because Cinderace forces a lot of switches, U-turn is a very useful move to have, as it helps to keep the momentum on your side by pivoting on Pokemon like Toxapex or Hippowdon which would otherwise wall it. Sucker Punch allows Cinderace to threaten to revenge kill threats that outspeed it like Noivern. Court Change is an interesting option as a last move, as it helps offensive teams to deal with entry hazards ans screens. High Jump Kick is also usable, mainly on Desolate Land versions, as it can hurt Flash Fire Ferrothorn, Incineroar, and Rock types, like Tyranitar and Terrakion. Alternatively, Gunk Shot is another option that threaten bulky Water. Desolate Land + Heavy-Duty Boots is the standard combination used on Cinderace, as it allows it to be an efficient offensive pivot on balanced and bulky offensive teams. Moreover, Desolate Land enables Cinderace to switch more safely on Water Pokemon that would otherwise threaten to kill it like Primarina or Milotic, and can act as an efficient counter to rain teams that rely on Pokemon like Corviknight to bring the Rain. Choice Band shoud be used on more offensive teams which lacks an offensive Pivot. Mold Breaker and Tintend Lens are more situational abilities and should only be used if the team either really lacks a way to deal with Flash Fire / Water Pokemon, or if it can provide sun to Cinderace.
Pokemon like Tintend Lens Gardevoir, Choice Band Mamoswine and Aerilate Noivern form a good core with Cinderace, as they heavile pressure it's usual checks and counter, while on the other hand Cinderace is able to bring them safely on the field. Magnet Pull Dracozolt is another interesting partner, mainly for the Desolate Land set, as it can trap and kill Thick Fat Corviknight and Flash Fire Ferrothorn thanks to Low Kick, and can pressure Toxapex. With Sun support Cinderace can break through checks like Flash Fire Ferrothorn or Toxapex, and so teammates like Drought Mandibuzz, Chlorophyll Chandelure and Chlorophyll Celebi are able to either put the sun for Cinderace or exploit the holes made by it to clean the game. Even with Sucker Punch, Cinderace has difficulties to overcome Noivern, so a Pokemon that can deal with it like Assault Vest Jirachi is appreciated as a teammate. Entry hazards setter like Mew, Toxapex or Ferrothorn help to weaken the few Pokemon that can safely switch on Cinderace and to put them in range of being 2HKO or OHKO by one of Cinderace's moves.
