Hopefully everyone's had a wonderful time so far getting to meet your teammates and strategize for week 1. Luckily, it's finally time to start CAPPL VII! You'll find the matchups below. Please not that as this is a team tournament, no extensions will be granted. There will be no exceptions.

All standard tournament rules apply. Ghosting is strictly prohibited. Replays must be posted or else your battle will be considered invalid. Once again, since this is a team tournament, no extensions are given; substitutions are used instead of extensions. If any trade occurs this week, neither traded player will be able to participate in a battle the same week. Please complete your games by Sunday, July 4th at 11:59pm GMT-5.

Ya boi is not playing this week cause I don't want to be hailed again am getting some new students this week, so I'll be out here with the predicts.
  • SS1: D2TheW vs Pitmore - D2 is in full chaotic force from what I've seen, expecting a dub from him.
  • SS2: Lunala vs Nalorium - This could go any number of ways, I'll leave it even since I think this matchup will be determined in the builder.
  • SS3: Rage.Spam.Quit. vs Fakee - RSQ has been quiet as of late, but he's the more experienced SS player.
  • SM: Avery vs Dj Breloominati♬ - I think Avery is the better player and has enough CAP support to be sneaky good in this tour.
  • ORAS: Aurodian vs againa - againa is honestly underrated, I expect a strong showing in W1.
  • Bo3: SHSP vs crying - crying has been on a tear recently, but I would feel physically ill if I picked against SHSP. Then again, rain.

  • SS1: Fc vs Ainzcrad - Not too familiar with either player but I've at least heard that Fc is good.
  • SS2: Skysolo vs 2spoopy4u - This marks the grand return of CAPsolo. Can't wait to see what they uncork on spoo.
  • SS3: Boat vs Chazm - I see chazm winning in an even matchup given the immense amount of building talent on the Snaels.
  • SM: Lilburr vs Wulfanator72 - Not too familiar with Lilburr but I've heard they're a cracked SM player and idk how wulf will play so separated from his husband.
  • ORAS: EternalSnowman vs quziel - quziel is a mad man in ORAS, so unless EternalSnowman haxes the shit out of him, I see quziel winning.
  • Bo3: Jordy vs Heaven Jay - This is the highlight of this week. Can't wait to see Jordy play in Bo3, and I fully expect this one to go down to the wire.

Lunala vs Nalorium - nalorium has been putting out good results lately but unfortunately lunala is very good at this video game
Rage.Spam.Quit. vs Fakee - dont know much abt fake but rsq is solid and id be quite surprised if he lost
Avery vs Dj Breloominati♬ - kind of a guess ? i dont really know how familiar spitfire is with sm cap atm while avery is a good player with enough support on tsm to succeed
Aurodian vs againa - unsure if auro has the same level of building support that let them sweep the roa tour and againa has been super invested in oras cap for a minute now - auro is still a fantastic player though so i expect it to be close regardless of who wins
SHSP vs crying - frankly i feel like this series could easily go both ways but shsp's a lot more familiar w cap as a whole and im not really sure where crying is getting their teams from/what kind of building support they have on the meras

The Number Man vs Estarossa - top cap player
Rabia vs maroon - top cap player
arn.av136 vs DetroitLolcat - bolding dlc but arnav is legit dangerous, just won the rigged tour with decent results elsewhere too. could swing either way
pannuracotta vs neomon - wish i knew more about neomon but pannu is probs less rusty atm and frequently plays sm cap in tours so i imagine hes more in touch with the meta as well
SiTuM vs cbrevan - sorta just a guess, no clue who situm is but i trust that theyre solid if lasen and rabia are drafting/starting them + theyve got good building support
Lasen vs Voltage - lasen is heavily favored in sm and i dont see volt taking both ss+oras
