Assault Vest Tangrowth is a solid defensive pivot that checks threats such as Iron Valiant, Mega Diancie, and Kartana thanks to its defensive typing, ability in Regenerator, and well-rounded bulk. Knock Off cripples common switch-ins such as Heatran, Ferrothorn, Tornadus-T, and Volcarona, both impairing their longevity and increasing their susceptibility to entry hazards. Earthquake hits the likes of Heatran and Iron Moth, Kingambit and Gholdengo. Alternatively, Sludge Bomb can be used instead to hit Fairy-types like Iron Valiant and Tapu Lele while threatening to cripple switchins like Tornadus-T and Mega Charizard Y. Focus Blast can also be used to snipe opposing Kingambit, or even Rock Slide to remove unsuspecting Volcarona that try to set up on the switch—the effectiveness of both options are highly matchup dependent, however. Hidden Power Ice hits bulky Ground- and Dragon-types in Garchomp, Landorus-T, Dragonite, and Gliscor, while Hidden Power Fire hits Steel-types such as Ferrothorn, Mega Scizor, and Kartana. Tera Steel is preferred to turn Tangrowth's common weaknesses into resistances, helping it sponge Ice coverage from Weavile, Baxcalibur, and Mega Swampert and Hurricane from Tornadus-T and Zapdos. Moreover, it can be used in a pinch to resist Moonblast from Iron Valiant and Tapu Lele. Alternatively, Tera Water turns the tide against threats such as Weavile and Heatran while maintaining Tangrowth's ability to check rain wallbreakers such as Mega Swampert. Tangrowth fits best on bulky offense teams, which appreciate its ability to check Pokemon like Landorus-T, Garchomp, Rotom-W, and Tapu Koko. Heatran receives strong support from Tangrowth, as Tangrowth checks threats such as Great Tusk, Landorus-T, and Garchomp and pivots into foes with super effective coverage against Heatran, such as Tapu Lele and Mega Diancie. In return, Heatran checks Weavile, Volcarona, and Tornadus-T. Toxapex and Tornadus-T both benefit from Tangrowth's ability to pivot into threats such as Tapu Koko and Rotom-W, with the former receiving the same level of support from Tangrowth as does Heatran. This trio comprises a formidable Regenerator core, with Toxapex removing Toxic Spikes and checking Pokemon like Mega Charizard Y, Volcarona, and Weavile, and Tornadus-T providing valuable entry hazard removal to reinforce the longevity of the core. Tangrowth is susceptible to entry hazards, which can often put it into 2HKO range of certain attacks, inhibiting its effectiveness as a defensive pivot; therefore, it appreciates entry hazard removers like the aforementioned Tornadus-T, as well as Rotom-W. Defensive cores supported by Tangrowth can fall victim to Kyurem as a result of its lethal coverage. Volcarona and Mega Scizor are teammates that can take advantage of opposing Kyurem with their ability to set up and reliable recovery. With Tornadus-T forcing Tangrowth out, Rotom-W and Tapu Koko make for stellar teammates with their resistance to Hurricane and ability to pivot. In return, Tangrowth forces out Gastrodon, which otherwise checks the aforementioned teammates.

Assault Vest Tangrowth is a solid defensive pivot capable of sponging a variety of powerful attacks from this metagame's premier threats such as... insert like wake, dia, w/e thanks to its defensive typing, ability in Regenerator, and well-rounded bulk. Furthermore, Tangrowth sports an impressive movepool with diverse coverage that forces frequent switches from foes. Knock Off allows Tangrowth to remove held items from common switch-ins in Heatran, Ferrothorn, Tornadus-T, and Volcarona, both impairing their longevity and increasing their susceptibility to entry hazards. Earthquake denies a free switch-in for Heatran and Iron Moth, while providing super effective coverage against the likes of Kingambit, Gholdengo and Toxapex and Gholdengo u wld much rather knock pex then pivot out since eq still bounces off. Sludge Bomb can be used instead to snipe special attacking Fairy-types like Iron Valiant and Tapu Lele, and the poison chance is appreciated to cripple switchins like Tornadus-T and Mega Charizard Y. Hidden Power Ice allows Tangrowth to soft check bulky Ground and Dragon-types in Garchomp, Landorus-T, Dragonite, and Gliscor, while Hidden Power Fire allows it to soft check Steel-types such as Ferrothorn, Mega Scizor, and Kartana. Tera Steel is preferred to turn Tangrowth's Ice, Flying, and Bug weaknesses into resistances, helping it sponge Ice coverage from Weavile, Baxcalibur, and Mega Swampert, and Hurricane from Tornadus-T and Zapdos. Moreover, it can be used in a pinch to resist Moonblast from Iron Valiant and Tapu Lele. Tangrowth fits best on bulky offense teams that appreciate its ability to check Ground-, Water-, Electric-, and Grass-types such as Landorus-T, Rotom-Wash, Tapu Koko, and Serperior. Heatran is by far its best partner, with Tangrowth providing it a Water and Ground resistance, while Heatran provides a Fire immunity and resistances to Ice-, Bug-, and Flying-type moves. Tangrowth also helps pivot into Pokemon like Tapu Lele and Mega Diancie so Heatran can stray away from super-effective coverage. or worded differently idm Tangrowth provides a valuable Ground and Water resistance to Mega Tyranitar and Excadrill sand cores, which returns the favor in the form of a Flying resistance and sand to further weaken rain wallbreakers and entry hazard removal, respectively. Toxapex and Tornadus-T both benefit from Tangrowth's Electric resistance, with the former benefitting further from an additional Ground resistance. This trio comprises a formidable Regenerator core, with Toxapex providing Fire-, Ice, and Bug-type resistances checking Pokemon like Mega Charizard Y, Volcarona, and Weavile that trouble Tangrowth and Toxic Spikes removal, and Tornadus-T providing valuable entry-hazard removal to reinforce the longevity of the core. nice job 1/2, just a thing in the future i think even w/ defensive mons its not that important to talk abt type-related weaknesses for partners specifically and talk abt more pokemon-related instances

Assault Vest Tangrowth is a solid defensive pivot capable of sponging a variety of powerful attacks from this metagame's premier threats such as... insert like wake, dia, w/e Walking Wake, Mega Diancie (I might also mention rain mons such as Swampert still being checked by Tangrowth thanks to its physical bulk, even if av tang focuses on the spdef side) thanks to its defensive typing, ability in Regenerator, and well-rounded bulk . Overall, maybe add more things that force out Tangrowth and ways to check them, but looks good for the most part.

Tangrowth fits best on bulky offense teams that appreciate its ability to check Pokemon like Ground-, Water-, Electric-, and Grass-types there's really not much of a need to type chart this much such as Landorus-T, Rotom-Wash, Tapu Koko, and Serperior. Heatran is by far its best partner, with Tangrowth providing it a Water and Ground resistance, mention what you specifically check instead while Heatran provides a Fire immunity and resistances to Ice-, Bug-, and Flying-type moves. again, mention what you specifically check. i know heatran resists x types but what does it do that tangrowth appreciates? Tangrowth also helps pivot into Pokemon like Tapu Lele and Mega Diancie so Heatran can stray away from super-effective coverage. Tangrowth provides a valuable Ground and Water resistance to Mega Tyranitar and Excadrill sand cores, which returns the favor in the form of a Flying resistance and sand to further weaken rain wallbreakers and entry hazard removal, respectively. im ngl exca ttar sand cores are really ungood rn, especially with everyone and their mother using mons that simultaneously put the core in danger (zama, tusk, zardy stopping exca sweeps, washtom, urshifu, and much much more). Toxapex and Tornadus-T both benefit from Tangrowth's Electric resistance, with the former benefitting further from an additional Ground resistance. we know it resists these moves but what does tangrowth check for these two? This trio comprises a formidable Regenerator core, with Toxapex providing Fire-, Ice, and Bug-type resistances checking Pokemon like Mega Charizard Y, Volcarona, and Weavile that trouble Tangrowth and Toxic Spikes removal, and Tornadus-T providing valuable entry-hazard removal to reinforce the longevity of the core. Tangrowth is susceptible to entry hazards which can often put it into 2HKO range of certain attacks, inhibiting its effectiveness as a defensive pivot; therefore, (add comma) it appreciates hazard removers like the aforementioned Tornadus-T, as well as Rotom-Wash. Defensive cores supported by Tangrowth can fall victim to Kyurem as a result of its lethal coverage. Volcarona and Mega Scizor are teammates that can take advantage of opposing Kyurem which threaten Tangrowth cores with their ability to set up and access to reliable recovery. i would add something here to consider checks to Tornadus-Therian, since although you don't let it in for free, it does mostly force you out, and mons such as Washtom/Pivot Koko/Weavile/Gambit can take it on for you, with gambit/koko appreciating tang checking ground types/mega diancie yes but try not to get too long-winded

Overall, maybe add more things that force out Tangrowth and ways to check them, but looks good for the most part. honestly the analysis is super long as is and that would be good information to include but like, we cant get too lengthy here

fix the multiple instances of "Rotom-Wash" and change to "Rotom-W". in the future i would stray from trying to just list good type matchups and zoom in on what the pokemon actually checks for its partners, since otherwise info is really lacking and you can otherwise just forgo reading an analysis entirely.

Knock Off cripples allows Tangrowth to cripple common switch-ins such as in Heatran, Ferrothorn, Tornadus-T, and Volcarona, both impairing their longevity and increasing their susceptibility to entry hazards.
