Welcome, one and all, to the greatest semestral spectacle of ASB talent: the ASB Highlight Match! Highlight matches pit two of the top ASB players against each other for all to see! These matches will test the skills of the players chosen, and will give us a chance to see who comes out on top! Best of all, YOU are the one who gets to choose the participants! That's right, you will be voting on who gets to play who in these matches. It's a fun time for both the players and the spectators. You don't want to miss this battle, folks!

Mega Evolutions: 2 PER TEAM
Rules are simple and intend to showcase the current metagame now that Gen VI came and settled. The unusual part is that, of the 3 pokemon, 2 can be Mega Pokemon. Let's see if the players will use megas or not and how they will fight them.
Prizes consist of normal battle counters (that's 2 CC per trainer and 1 EC, 2 MC, 1 DC and any gained KO Counters per participating Pokemon). The winner receives 3 UC to spend as well and, of course, will be recorded as a Highlight Match winner!
Reffing
Anyone that wishes to ref this battle may PM me stating their qualifications to ref. I will choose one ref and one subref to avoid problems if the original ref has a conflict. Referees recieve the heightened rewards for gym battles, to represent the stricter DQ time and exceptional work needed to display.
The ref for this match will be Arcanite. If you want to be subref, lemme know.

In this stage, we will decide who will be in the poll to select the final two contestants. Post one to five players you would like to see battle. Order is not a factor.
For this HLM only, the following players can't be chosen:
- Pwnemon (was on last hlm)
- Objection (was on last hlm)
- waterwarrior (by request)
Poll
On this poll we will choose the pool of players from which the contestants will come. You can vote in as many as you want and the 4ish (depends on the actual votes) players that get most votes will proceed to the next polls.
The options of this pool are all players that were nominated and seconded (2 nominations at least)
