Sandslash-Alola @ Leftovers
Ability: Slush Rush
EVs: 252 HP / 200 SpD / 56 Spe
Careful Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Knock Off / Toxic
- Stealth Rock / Spikes / Rapid Spin
- Protect

Wow, there's a good Steel-type in ZU? Alolan Sandslash answered the call for a wall that can do it all; Stealth Rock, Spikes, or Rapid Spin support is just the tip of the iceberg. Its typing lets it check common entry hazard removers such as Articuno and Flamethrower-less Altaria. It can also deter switch-ins like Rapidash, Poliwrath, and Ninetales with Toxic and Knock Off, with the latter also helping check Rotom and Frosmoth. Even without Toxic, Protect is invaluable for the passive Leftovers recovery and scouting Choice-locked attackers like Sawk, Jynx, and Manectric. 56 Speed EVs guarantee Alolan Sandslash outspeeds Adamant Rhydon. The major problem with Alolan Sandslash, though, is its relevant weaknesses, so a combination of Pokemon like Qwilfish, Uxie, and Rotom-S is necessary for support. Offensive teammates like Rotom, Silvally-Ground, and Gourgeist-S also have complementary typings and capitalize on Alolan Sandslash’s utility, and they may even take advantage of Alolan Sandslash's Protect to switch in freely. Grass-types like Thwackey and Shiftry punish the bulky Water-types like Jellicent and Poliwrath that wall Alolan Sandslash.

Wow, there's a good Steel-type in ZU? Alolan Sandslash answered the call for a wall that can do it all; Stealth Rock, Spikes, or Rapid Spin support is just the tip of the iceberg mention its typing lets it handle common hazard removers such as Cuno and Altaria. It can also deter switch-ins like Rapidash, Poliwrath, and Ninetales with Toxic and Knock Off, with the latter also helping check Rotom and Frosmoth. Even without Toxic, Protect is invaluable for the passive Leftovers recovery and scouting Choice-locked attackers like Sawk, Jynx, and Manectric (Jynx is extremely important). 56 Speed EVs guarantees Alolan Sandslash outspeeds Adamant Rhydon. If you still have enough words, you can mention why a spd spread is prefered to a physdef one, that's not important enough compared to the other points I rose. The major problem with Alolan Sandslash, though, is its multiple weaknesses, so a combination of Pokemon like Qwilfish, Uxie, and Rotom-S are necessary for support. Offensive teammates like Rotom, Silvally-Ground, and Gourgeist-S also have complementary typings and capitalize on Alolan Sandslash’s utility, and they may even score switch-in opportunities by scouting with Protect. I'd like you to also mention partners that take advantage of bulky Water-types like Jellicent and Poliwrath since they are the main counters to Snowslash.
