Olá a todos, sejam bem-vindos à sétima edição do torneio mais tradicional da sala Português: o Alma Gêmea! Como o nome sugere, o Alma Gêmea é um torneio disputado por duplas que se enfrentam em partidas melhor de três nos principais formatos da Smogon. Nesta edição, os formatos escolhidos foram: SV OU, SV Ubers, SV DOU, SV National Dex OU, SV UU, SV RU, SV NU, SV PU e SV LC.
Regras do Torneio / Tournament Rules:
- As regras de torneio e diretrizes gerais se aplicarão a este torneio;
- The Tournament Rules and General Guidelines will apply to this tournament;
- Fase de Grupos: haverá quatro duplas em cada grupo e as duas melhores avançam;
- Group Stage: there will be four duos in each group and the two best will advance;
- Mata-Mata: eliminação única;
- Play-Offs: single elimination;
- Melhor de três entre SV OU, SV Ubers, SV DOU, SV National Dex OU, SV UU, SV RU, SV NU, SV PU e SV LC;
- Best-of-three out of SV OU, SV Ubers, SV DOU, SV National Dex OU, SV UU, SV RU, SV NU, SV PU, and SV LC;
- No início de cada semana, ambas as duplas escolhem um formato e a pessoa que vai jogá-lo contra a dupla oponente;
- At the start of each week, both duos choose a format and also a member that will play said format against the opposing pair;
- Os confrontos serão feitos entre os membros da dupla que jogarão um formato em específico contra os membros da outra dupla que não têm um formato específico para jogar;
- Matches will be played between the chosen members of one team against the non-chosen members of the other team;
- Em caso de empate, um formato será sorteado e cada dupla escolherá um membro para jogar a partida;
- In the event of a tie, a format will be drawn and each duo will choose a member to play the match;
- Não é permitido escolher o mesmo formato consecutivamente;
- You can't choose the same format consecutively;
- As partidas devem ser jogadas no servidor Smogtours ou no servidor principal do PS!;
- Battles should take place on the Smogtours server or the main PS! server;
- Replays são obrigatórios.
- Replays are mandatory.
Identidade
Sobre jogar em contas alternativas: é totalmente permitido jogar numa conta alternativa que não tenha o seu nome principal no fórum; contudo, se o seu oponente quiser confirmar a sua identidade, você é obrigado a entrar na sua conta principal para mostrar que você é quem diz ser. Isso é necessário para evitar que os usuários finjam ser quem não são.
Sobre jogar em servidores alternativos: as partidas de torneio devem ser jogadas no servidor Smogtours. O servidor principal do PS! também é aceitável se ambos os jogadores concordarem. Outros servidores não são sancionados pela equipe de Diretores de Torneio e jogar neles pode resultar no seu jogo não ser validado. Proteja-se contra isso jogando no Smogtours, onde também temos o poder de recriar jogos que terminaram devido a desconexões.
Scouting
Sobre o scouting de adversários: é totalmente permitido assistir aos replays de jogos de torneio e da ladder de seus adversários, desde que o jogo seja público, não há nada que o impeça de assisti-lo. Uma exceção a isso é abusar dos poderes concedidos a você por ser membro da staff da Smogon ou do PS! para ganhar acesso a informações às quais um usuário normal não teria acesso, o que é estritamente proibido.
Sobre o vazamento de equipes: divulgar informações privadas sobre a equipe planejada de alguém para o seu oponente nunca é permitido e será severamente punido. Solicitar que essas informações sejam divulgadas também é motivo de punição. Mantenha sua busca restrita a informações publicamente disponíveis e você não terá problemas.
Cláusula do Cronômetro / Desconexões
Sobre o cronômetro: O cronômetro precisa estar ligado durante toda a batalha.
Sobre derrotas por tempo esgotado: um jogador que perde por ter todo o seu tempo esgotado perde partida. Isso só não acontece se o jogador que perdeu por tempo esgotado sofreu uma Desconexão Verdadeira. Revanches só serão permitidas se tiver havido uma Desconexão Verdadeira.
Sobre Desconexões Verdadeiras: A equipe de Diretores de Torneio tem um limite secreto de torneios que seu cronômetro deve ter ou estar acima, a partir do momento da desconexão, para que uma derrota por tempo esgotado seja considerada uma Desconexão Verdadeira. Se o seu jogo for considerado uma Desconexão Verdadeira, se você jogou na Smogon e se você contatou um Diretor de Torneio antes da sala expirar, sua partida vai recriada até o ponto em que a desconexão ocorreu. É responsabilidade do jogador que sofreu a desconexão levar um Diretor de Torneio para a sala antes que ela expire.

Identity
About playing on alts: It is entirely allowed to play on an alt other than your own main forum name, though if your opponent wishes to confirm your identity, you must log on to your main alt to show them you are who you claim to be. This is to prevent people from pretending to be who they're not.
About playing on different servers: Tournament matches must be played on the Smogtours server. The Main PS! server is also acceptable if both parties agree to that. Other servers are not sanctioned by the TD team and playing in them might result in your game not counting. Protect yourself from that by playing in Smogtours, where we also have the power to recreate games that end due to DC's.
Scouting
On scouting opponents: Going through your opponents replays of tournament and ladder games is entirely allowed, as long as a game is public there is nothing preventing you from watching it. An exception to this is abusing powers granted to you by being staff on Smogon or PS! to gain access to information a normal user wouldn't have access to, which is strictly forbidden.
On leaking teams: Divulging private information about someone's planned team to their opponent is never allowed, and will be heavily sanctioned. Requesting that such information be divulged is also grounds for punishment. Keep your scouting to publicly available information and you'll be fine.
Timer Clause / Disconnections
On the Timer: The timer must stay on throughout the whole battle..
On Timeout losses: A player that loses by having all his time run out loses the game. This is only not the case if the player that received the timeout loss can be verified to have suffered a True Disconnection. Rematches are only allowed if there was a True Disconnection.
On True Disconnection: The TD team has a secret threshold of seconds that your timer must be at or above, from the moment you disconnect, for a timeout loss to be considered a True disconnection. If your game is determined to be a true disconnection if you played on Smogtours and contacted a TD before the room expired your game will be recreated up to the point the disconnect happened. It is the responsibility of the player that disconnected to get a TD into the room before it expires.
