ADV LC is back and with way less whale, space duck, and fire horse than ever. While still similar to SM LC, ADV differs in a few important ways. Eviolite, Choice Scarf, and Life Orb haven't been invented yet, so items such as Sitrus Berry, Choice Band, type-boosters, and pinch berries reign supreme. There's also the special/physical split! All moves of a given type are either physical or special; for example, because Water is a special type, both Waterfall and Surf are special moves.
Tournament Rules:
- Standard LC rules (Level 5, able to evolve, first stage)
- All matches should be played with [Gen 3] OU
- Single elimination
- All rounds except finals will be best of one.
- Ban List:
- Pokemon: Chansey, Meditite, Omanyte, Scyther, Wynaut, Zigzagoon, Porygon, Wailmer, Ponyta
- Moves: Dragon Rage, Sonic Boom, Swagger
- Other: Agility + Baton Pass
- Resource Thread, Viability Rankings and Sample Teams
- Special Types: Fire, Water, Electric, Grass, Ice, Psychic, Dragon, Dark.
Physical Types: Normal, Fighting, Poison, Ground, Flying, Bug, Rock, Ghost, Steel.
