I would like to suggest a battle rule that changes the categories of moves to be determined by their typing. So, how gen 3 works. I've seen a fair amount of users from time to time request this, so I'd imagine there'd actually be a fair amount of support behind this in terms from the player base. I'm not sure if this'd be a nightmare to implement (I wouldn't imagine so but I wouldn't have a clue). Just taking the time to make an official suggestion.
Edit: Would a battle rule for SWAPPING move category mechanics be a better idea? So gens 1, 2 and 3 would use modern mechanics, and gens 4-current would use gen 1 2 3 mechanics
