ORAS UU A Baton Pass for everyone

I haven't been playing UU as much as the other tiers, so this may look scruffy. I took a lot of things into account though and it kinda works at times, but I want to hear some suggestions and see what could work so that I get a better understanding of the tier.

Sceptile @ Sceptilite
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- SolarBeam
- Dragon Pulse
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Synthesis

SolarBeam decimates everything that doesn't resist it with a wooping 180 total power backed by baton pass boosts and a gargantuan 145 base Special Attack, however it's only flaw is that it needs sun in order to use it freely which is provided by Combusken. Dragon Pulse cleans everything else off barring Fairy and Steel types. Hidden Power Fire toasts the likes of Forretress, Mega Aggron and Lucario. Synthesis is a great recovery move especially in the sun, feigning Sucker Punches or playing cards with utility mons.

Feraligatr @ Lum Berry
Ability: Sheer Force
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Waterfall
- Dragon Dance
- Crunch
- Earthquake

Waterfall hits extremely hard with Sheer Force and Dragon Dance boosts resisted only by a handful. Crunch OHKOs Espeon and dents Cresselia, especially when boosted. Earthquake has perfect coverage against Electric types and Empoleon looking to phaze Feraligatr out. The Lum Berry grants momentum on status inflictors, giving Feraligatr a free turn to hit hard or dance the match away.

Aerodactyl @ Lum Berry
Ability: Unerve
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Iron Head
- Fire Fang
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic

With a high speed stat to rely on, Aerodactyl works great in ensuring that he sets up Stealth Rock before anything else. Iron Head puts a dent in Fairy types like Florges and especially BellyPluff - when combined with Unerve it turns Aerodactyl into the perfect counter for it. Fire Fang 2HKOs Focus Sash Galvantula with the slight chance to burn the last one hitpoint away. Toxic spells doom for Blissey lacking Natural Cure or can just be used to put anything barring Steel and Poison types on a timer.

Dagahra (Blastoise) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Rain Dish
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brick Break
- Rapid Spin
- Rain Dance
- Aqua Jet

Brick Break removes screens and can be useful in taking on Steel or Dark types. Aqua Jet is a good priority move with added STAB and a rain boost if it is present. Rapid Spin removes entry hazards, Rain Dance gives Blastoise a better chance at using its priority move while also double-healing it with Rain Dish and Leftovers recovery.

Combusken @ Focus Sash
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Spe / 4 Def
Jolly Nature
- Baton Pass
- Work Up
- Sunny Day
- Substitute

Who said Blaziken was the best baton passer in the game? Well, he may be, but his younger brethren is just as good at it in lower tiers like this one. The best part about Combusken is that when it uses Work Up, it can baton pass to any member of the team since it raises both offensive stats and the natural speed boosts come in very handily. Sunny Day is there to support Sceptile's solarbeam, sun-boosted Hidden Power Fire and more HP with the use of Synthesis. It also boosts Hydreigon's Flamethrower and hampers opposing Water types and their STABs. Substitute is a good dice roll to use on suspected utility mons or simply to stall opponents. The Focus Sash is there to make sure Combusken can get a Sunny Day or Work Up in at the very least if it is hit with 99%. It usually manages to get the job done but must watch out for scarf users, sub/sash breakers and priority moves.

Hydreigon @ Lum Berry
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Charge Beam
- Dragon Pulse
- Dark Pulse
- Flamethrower

Charge Beam is an alternative option for raising Special Attack or to finish off weakened opponents while reaping the benefits. Dark and Dragon Pulse are deadly when boosted, the former having a nice 20% to flinch the opponent giving Hydreigon momentum. Flamethrower turns Lucario, Fortress and Mega Aggron into ovens and takes other things on with neutral coverage.

Baton pass? You're Satan incarnate

Anyways Hydreigon shouldnt have Charge Beam, flamethrower, or Dragon Pulse. All those moves are far too weak and pale in comparison to their Powerful/More risky counterparts. Assault Vest also isn't good, go with Life Orb ir a Choice Item.
Sceptile with HP Dark is not good in the slightest, Dragon Pulse does more than it. Intead run HP Fire, as it hits Forrtress, or Substitute to deal with scary Sucker Punches.
Rivalry on Nidoking is pointless, go with sheer force, for it is better in every possible way.

I tried my best to fix the team without replacing Pokemon or the main core, I hope these help.

Here are some suggestions you should consider:

  • if you are going to have a Sashed Aero, I suggest the following set below. The set provided still deals a lot to Florges, which is something you wanted if you decide to keep Aero around, and you still get rocks plus stall breaking abilities, which handles blissey, another thing you wanted to deal with effectively. Toxic was a some-what wasted slot for Blissey because all Blisseys run Natural Cure unless your opponent is using a nonviable charge-beam set, which is rare. What is really cool about this set is that any variant of forretress cannot break it to well. Having Fire Blast + Unnerve just destroys the Custap Berry set which is always fun to do =]
252 Atk+ Aerodactyl Stone Edge vs. 252 HP / 232 Def Florges: 144-171 (41 - 49%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
184 Atk Aerodactyl Stone Edge vs. 252 HP / 232 Def Florges: 136-162 (37.7 - 45%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash
Ability: Unnerve
EVs: 184 Atk / 72 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Fire Blast
- Stone Edge
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock

  • Change Hydreigon's set to the one below. This allows you to either break holes through teams so Combusken can set up on the left over fodder, or you can clean up with it late game after you broken enough holes through your team with combusken baton passing.
Hydreigon @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Draco Meteor
- U-turn
- Dark Pulse
- Flash Cannon

  • Giga Drain > Solar Beam on Mega Sceptile.
Waiting for Solar Beam to charge up kills your momentum which is something you don't want on a BP team. Having Giga Drain provides a great STAB move that doesn't charge up like Solar Beam that also regains health. Its almost a 2 in one! You could also run Leaf Storm over HP Fire because HP Fire is useless because if you use the suggested Aero set, forry isn't a problem and Blaziken uses Steel Types as possible set up fodder anyways.

  • I think its a really cool idea to have work up bp so you can either pass to a special or a physical sweeper.
Change your set for Combusken to the one below to maximize on setting up on Steel Types, and to ensure you are still bulky to live scalds from things bulky water types.
Combusken @ Eviolite
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 248 HP / 4 Def / 108 SpD / 148 Spe
Careful Nature
- Baton Pass
- Work Up
- Flare Blitz
- Substitute

  • EVs: 220 Atk / 36 SpD / 252 Spe and Sub > EQ on Gatr.
252 Speed EVs helps Feraligatr outspeed Mega Pidgeot after one Dragon Dance and Choice Scarf Mienshao after two Dragon Dances. An Adamant nature is preferred for more power, but a Jolly nature is usable to outspeed Adamant Heracross, Adamant Lucario, and, after a Dragon Dance, Crobat. 36 SpD allows your sub to never break from cune scalding.
  • Use the following Blastoise set below to help you against fire spam and set up sweepers.

Blastoise @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Rapid Spin
- Roar
- Ice Beam

Good luck!

I agree with everything said above. The Blastoise set seems a bit odd, especially since you are doing a double weather team, but rain only benefits one of your Pókes. Change it to the set above and you'll have a better time. Hydreigon works best with a scarf, specs, or LO, not a Lum. There's no reason he should be alive long enough for toxic or burn to do much, sleep is uncommon in UU, and para's are normally easy to predict.
