    Volt-Turn (First LC Team)

Umm Occa Berry doesn't heal (it reduces the power of super effective fire hits). I think you mean Oran Berry (which heals 10hp when eaten).

    *Insert clever team name here*

Well I'm not one of those venerable raters but here are a few things I'd consider: On Lugia I'd really recommend Whirlwind over Dragon Tail. Lugia's Dragon Tail just does so little damage that it's almost not even worth considering (from a calc I once did I'm fairly sure Deoxys-A only takes...

    Milotic

Really any status except Toxic is good for Milotic (its not like Burn really hurts much, your Dragon Tail doesn't do much damage anyway)... Unless you're Sleep-Talk Milotic then Toxic doesn't bother you any either (which is why I love Sleep-Talk Milotic so much). If I had to pick the worst...

Killing is my Business ... And Business is Good

Just have to stick up for Deoxys-A a bit here: using the set I'm more familiar with (the 20 Atk / 252 SAtk / 236 Spd Rash/Mild set), Superpower does 85.4% - 100.6% to the standard 4 HP / 252 Def Chansey which is a pretty good chance of a OHKO with SR or previous damage. Lets say it does min...

What have we learned from Gen. V?

I think he was just talking about how Yawn itself won't do anything special via prankster since it works on a set timing system, unlike say Spore or Sleep Powder which will stop an opponent's attack outright thanks to being able to put them to sleep as soon as it hits. Anyway, I agree that I'm...

Stored Power + Shell Smash: Yet another gimmick, or a unholy combo?

The main problem with Stored Power (beyond the whole Baton Passing Shell Smash idea which is its own problem) is that Psychic isn't a good attacking type. Pokemon who resist it are all over the place (Steel & Psychics, with pokemon like Jirachi 4x resisting it...), Tyranitar is outright immune...

Keldeo [available from June 23rd to August 31st]

Uh what? Life Orb + Calm Mind is not "universally" counter productive.

The answer to the ultimate question: Blissey or Chansey?

So the idea is to spend 84 evs in speed minimum (or more: maybe 92 since putting 4 or 8 points in speed isn't uncommon for scizor, never mind the rarer scizors who invest more who you will never outrun) and using a move that leaves you walled vs anything not 4x weak to it (not to mention...

The answer to the ultimate question: Blissey or Chansey?

This is all assuming the trick is Lagging Tail or Iron Ball. 99% of tricks (most coming from Lati@s/Rotom, you know pokemon Blissey/Chansey might actually have a reason to stay in against) are going to be Choice Scarf/Specs and in those cases, yes Blissey is just as screwed. Chancey loses a...

The answer to the ultimate question: Blissey or Chansey?

This was a question I've wanted to ask since I've seen this a few times... How exactly does it help? Obviously the idea is that both Blissey and Rotom are in play, Rotom Volts in Scizor, Blissey Flamethrowers it, but I'm not getting how this would ever come about. Rotom would come in usually...

The answer to the ultimate question: Blissey or Chansey?

This is really the same arguement as the Stealth Rock (or other entry hazard) one and its answered the same way. How much more damage is Blissey taking from the attacks? If it's more then 6% Chansey is doing better then Blissey, burn and all (since really the burn changes nothing, they just...

The answer to the ultimate question: Blissey or Chansey?

Do you mean my comment here? That was in response to Zacchaeus's inital post which originally implied that Wish was an advantage of Blissey's.

The answer to the ultimate question: Blissey or Chansey?

Why would I when I can just softboiled and do it in one turn? And again, how much more damage are the Attacks doing to Blissey? That's the part you're not dealing with. Yes if all they are doing is switching into stealth rock without getting hit Blissey will be able to do it longer, so what...

The answer to the ultimate question: Blissey or Chansey?

And how much extra damage is Blissey taking from those sponged attacks when it switches in? If it's not 6% or less then Chansey is still doing better even with the hazards.

The answer to the ultimate question: Blissey or Chansey?

Chansey doesn't bother healing herself with Wish, she just uses Softboiled in place of Protect. That doesn't stop her from running Wish nor does it take up any more move slots then Wish + Protect would. Also having Softboiled isn't necessarily a bad thing, sometimes you just can't wait the...

The answer to the ultimate question: Blissey or Chansey?

Ummm why is "access to Wish" listed under Blissey as if it was an advantage unique to her? Chansey does Wish just fine too...

The answer to the ultimate question: Blissey or Chansey?

Then again its not like Flamethrower (or Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Shadowball, ect...) is safe either. Instead of being set up bait for Gengar, Flamethrower Blissey is set-up bait for Heatran (insert any number of standard resists for any of the other moves here). And sure you could say that...

    Slowbro

Shandera needs to be careful. If she comes in on a STAB Surf it could do a ton of damage to her. She doesn't even like taking a psychic attack (specially backed by a CM or two). All in all he isn't that bad off vs Shandera. There are worse.

    Nattorei

I've had good results with that as well but with Spikes over SR (SR is much easier to get on someone else so might as well put the tougher to get move on him). Nattorei @ Leftovers EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SDef Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd) - Leech Seed - Spikes - Power Whip - Gyro Ball

    Milotic

How bout Dragon Tail over Hypnosis? Hypnosis's accuracy leaves something to be desired and an extra phazeing move is always welcome.
