Standard Gengar beats Standard Kangaskhan. Scrappy lets you Fake it out and then it Subs up as usual and the situation doesn't change. If you try Sucker Punch you break its sub and die to Focus Blast, if it misses then the usual disabling Sucker Punch followed by Gengar destroying Kangaskhan...

This set crumbles to non-Mega Gengar. If they send in Gengar and set up a Substitute and Disable your Sucker Punch you cannot hit them. Sucker Punch will fail on either move, you cannot break their sub, switching out lets them Mega Evolve and keep their Substitute.

I don't know about Azumarill. Dragons resist its priority and its slower than they are so won't be surviving to hit them with Fairy.

I sadly did all my breeding and EV training as I went so postgame for me consisted solely of Mewtwo which is rather lacking compared to past generations. Those cafes are a good idea for grinding though, thanks for that tip.
