    Hello, I am signed up for National Dex Last Chance. I contacted my opponent about scheduling a battle on Monday, but I got no response. I just messaged them again today to see if they will respond.
    This is my first tournament so I'm not very well accustomed to a lot of the rules. If they don't respond by tomorrow, should I call act?

    Its too dependant on tera to be effective and still ends up struggling against mons such as Primal Groudon, realistically you would just use a more reliable breaker such as Koraidon (who abuses Tera far more consistently)

    also isn't it impossible to stop deoxys speed from setting up a layer of spike if regieleki, the pokemon faster than it can't stop it.

    This is mostly true except in rare cases such as Taunt Grimmsnarl or Mega Sableye and Mega Diancie with Magic Bounce. Additionally opposing Deo-S like to run Magic Coat to beat the other lead. Deo-S insane speed tier makes it difficult for it to block hazards but its not necessarily impossible.
