  • Okay, cool. First thing to do is get your parents at the ready, then save in front of the daycare lady with your parents in your party. Then, you need to find a suitable shiny spread. For this, go to the Time Finder in RNG Reporter, select the "Shiny Egg" tab, and enter the desired nature, ability (Poison Heal is Ability 1), gender, and the gender ratio (50/50 for breloom). Enter your ID and SID, then check the HGSS Shiny Egg box, and the International Parents box if applicable (if your parents are of different languages, for example a japanese ditto and an english breloom). The time is irrelevant at the moment as we can change that later, but for the delay, make the minimum around 750, up to about 850. Then hit generate. For delays this short, pick a delay that matches the odd/even pattern you got while calibrating (ie, if you got all odd, pick a spread with an odd delay, and vice versa for even)
Now, you need to get your parents and decide what you're going to breed. Ideally, you want at least one flawless parent. Do you have a flawless ditto, or anything?
No, the delays don't need to be the same, just relatively close together - ideally within a range of 10, but a little more is fine. And, steps/biking/whatever doesn't affect anything at this stage.
WHOAA. I just encountered Raikou.. LOL . But does it have to be exactly the same? Recently I got like 3 16 secs in a row. But diff delays I think.
How many calibrations have you done? If it's just one, go back and do a few more to make sure you're hitting a consistent delay/seconds
Yeah, they're for the US/EU/AU HG. To sync the clocks, just go to your DS homescreen, then click the little settings icon down at the bottom, find the date/time bit, then set the time to one minute ahead of what the external clock reads, then when the external clock reaches a new minute, immediately press A to confirm the time, and you should be synched up.
Now, stand in an area of grass, with a free space in your party, and save. Then, sync your DS clock to an external clock. Then, load up your AR and turn on the IV check code. Then, go back to the AR home screen, and wait for the external clock to reach a new minute. When it does, press start on the AR, and load up your game as fast as you can (keep pressing A, ideally at a constant speed). Once you enter the game, catch a wild pokemon, then, using the IV check code, plug its IVs into RNG reporter's Seed Finder (remember to put in your date and time too). Press generate, and an initial seed should come up - note what it says under "delay" (for hg this should be around 490ish), and "seconds". Repeat this until you can consistently hit a single second and a fairly tight delay range. Once you've got your seconds and delays, we can continue.
It doesn't much matter, tbh. They're both easy enough, so I'll just stick with HG. The first thing you need to do is calibrate - you've got an AR, so you'll need the IV check code for this - you'll find it here - scroll down a bit, and it's the one about EV/IV checking. And while you're there, get the fast hatch and instant egg codes - they make the process faster later on, but we won't need them just now.
Can I cash in those 3 credits now? I'm interested in your Azure Flute Arceus (don't care which). I'd hack up an Azure Flute myself, but this is quicker.
Nope, but I'm sure you'll find plenty of people willing to help you in the RNG help thread. :)

    Good luck RNGing!
Congratulations, you have RNG Reporter running on your Mac. You'll have to look at the guides to learn how to use it.
it has the folder RNGReporter_830 on desktop, with .exe in the folder. but when i open the .exe it has a lot of weird symbols.
I have a feeling you're trying to open the wrong thing, that's why I want to see screenshots of the icon you're clicking on and the error message that results.
When you double-click the RNG Reporter .zip file, it should open. Select the files within and drag them to the Desktop.
Double-click to unpack it. You may see a dialog box asking where to unpack it - tell it to unpack to your Desktop.
If you get stuck, I'll help you through it so I can make the instructions easier to understand for other users.
It should run faster, although this method is slower than running it on Windows to begin with. And it's less complicated.
