Tyranitar-Mega @ Tyranitarite
Adamant Nature
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 88 HP / 252 Atk / 168 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Fire Blast
Skarmory can usually come in on tyranitar and threaten it with a body press, leaving it forced to switch out as fire punch doesn't deal quite enough damage while skarmory can happily set up spikes., but two fire blasts will roast the metal bird, one on the switch and one on the subsequent round. Even if they switch out they can't do anything as this pseudo-legendary is faster and could use fire blast again if skarm switch in later without being healed.
0- SpA Tyranitar-Mega Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Skarmory: 182-216 (54.6 - 64.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

- Earthquake
- Scale Shot
- Fire Blast
4- SpA Garchomp-Mega Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Skarmory: 222-262 (66.4 - 78.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
Skarmory otherwise just walls Garchomp with Iron Defense whereas Fire Blast catches it by suprise.
Well, Skarmory Iron Defense exists and Rocky Helmet recoil.Vote for tar as chomp two shots with fire fang as well, after a sd while skarm tries to switch in and helps to sweep for the later so fire fang better and gyara is good but a body press does a alot of chip (well it does chip to tar as well but i just like tar more :/)
+2 252 Atk Garchomp-Mega Fire Fang vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Skarmory: 198-234 (59.2 - 70%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
Yea gyara is better but ttar is just likeable and you can vote anyone so i voted for thatWell, Skarmory Iron Defense exists and Rocky Helmet recoil.
Oh I was talking about Fire Fang, Skarmory can just as easily stack up Iron Defense, also Rocky Helmet recoil damage is unrecoverable on Mega Garchomp. I respect your decision, just trying to back up why I chose Fire Blast.Yea gyara is better but ttar is just likeable and you can vote anyone so i voted for that

Keldeo-Resolute @ Leftovers
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Secret Sword
- Toxic
- Calm Mind
Bulky psychics, waters, and tang/una mons don’t want to switch in on a toxic, and will make it easier for Keldeo to not have to commit immediately to a potential sweep and whittle down its checks and counters. No taunt/sub sucks; could be mono with sub cm but then you could just use suicune.

Pelipper @ Damp Rock
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Defog
- Roost
- Toxic
Mega Latios is a pain to switch in for rain teams, since it has all the coverage it needs in STAB psychic, aura sphere for ferrothorn and the dark types(ash greninja or weavile) attempting to pivot in on a psychic and ice beam for the defensive zapdos attempting to fish for a thunder paralysis. Pelipper is usually the most helpless against it since it can't deal actual threatening damage, as such mega latios usually aggresively switches in against pelipper, only not doing so if there's a weavile on the rain team, which will cause pelipper u-turning weavile in and scoring a free trap. However the pelican can choose to directly cripple the incoming latios with toxic, allowing it's teammate play around this fierce threat much easier.
Hello, this is my lure for M-Latios!
M-zard-y normally has a pretty bad mu against M-Latios, even Fireblast has only a low chance of 2HKOing and M-Latios can outspeed and stall out the sun (252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Fire Blast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Latios-Mega in Sun: 134-158 (44.5 - 52.4%) -- 21.5% chance to 2HKO).
M-Latias also always 2HKOs with Psychic
(252 SpA Latios-Mega Psychic vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Charizard-Mega-Y: 153-181 (51.5 - 60.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO)
or even worse:
(252 SpA Latios-Mega Thunder vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Charizard-Mega-Y: 248-294 (83.5 - 98.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO).
So, normal M-zard-ys are just an opportunity for M-Latios to come in and put pressure on your team.
And here is my solution for this problem:
252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Dragon Pulse vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Latios-Mega: 184-218 (61.1 - 72.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
I kow its a meme, but Dragon Pulse M-zard-y
heavily damages M-Latios (or 2HKOs if M-Latios however stays in), so it can switch into M-zard-y or its team members Venusar, Victini or Kartana... anymore.
This is my set:
Charizard-Mega-Y @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dragon Pulse
- Weather Ball
- Focus Blast
- Solar Beam
Outside of the M-Latios mu Dragon Puls is also useful for:
M-Zard-x setting up on M-zard-y (252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Dragon Pulse vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Charizard-Mega-X: 246-290 (82.8 - 97.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO),
getting at 2HKO on uninvestet Dnite
(252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Dragon Pulse vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Multiscale Dragonite: 107-127 (33.1 - 39.3%) -- 100% chance to 3HKO)
and tank-chomp or M-Chomp (252 SpA Abomasnow Dragon Pulse vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Garchomp-Mega: 226-266 (63.3 - 74.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO).
[I hope this post doesn’t get deleted because my zard-sprite is bugged and i don’t know how to fix it]
