which as a side note DOES NOT INCLUDE the two new managers 5dots and fruits; i dont know about 5dots but fruits would've voted sm > ss > bw, likely putting sm even further in the lead

2- has more signups than bw

3- is a far more established tier, having had players of tournament caliber before bw zu even existed. one money tour does not outrank years of meta development.

4- all of what lpy said

the fact that this decision was solely up to tuthur two tier leaders

who are not only MANAGERS but also PLAYERS, presents a huge conflict of interest that destroys the integrity of the tour. two managers have more sway over the format and by extension the entire tour than the hosts.

this is probably the worst zupl there's ever been and it hasn't even started yet. this be shameful if it wasnt so hilarious.

week 1 flamencos prep is off to a good start

ZUPL IV Power Rankings are live! Every team submitted me a ranking of the other teams, slot by slot. Averaging their rankings allowed me to rank every team in every slot and then averaging these average let me rank teams. Using these votes, I could have come up with other metrics to rank teams, but this one happened to be the easiest to implement and these Power Rankings are just for fun.

8. Befuddling Beheeyems
(7th SS, 6th SM, 4th ORAS, 8th BW, 7th DPP)

The Beheeyems have taken the risk of relying mainly on rising ZU stars like Corthius, 5Dots and wooper. There are many familiar faces in the community such as Beka, Marsheaux, JonAmon 25 and Procrastinasian, who will help support their team in preparation. However, the lack of top players to win with these teams means that the team struggles to make it into the top half of the rankings except in ORAS.

7. Morpeek-A-Boos
(4th SS, 8th SM, 8th ORAS, 1st BW, 6th DPP)

The Morpekos have two main assets in their SS1 and their BW. TheFranklin is considered the 2nd best SS player, while August is the best BW. However, the other slots did not convince the voters, Toto and btboy took the gamble of drafting players with little connection to the ZU, leaving the teambuilding part on both managers and 85percent.

6. Lucky Stunkys
(8th SS, 1st SM, 2nd ORAS, 6th BW, 7th DPP)

The Stunkies are very heterogeneous, 4 of the slots are considered among the best while the remaining 4 are seen as among the worst. The team could very well fall apart if one of their top players has a bad season, as well as being an excellent team if one of their underdogs is successful.

5. Sacred Sakura
(1st SS, 6th SM, 7th ORAS, 3rd BW, 5th DPP)

Just missing out on playoffs, we find the Sakuras. Judged to have the best SS core, they start with a significant advantage. BW is quite promising with crying and Eric performing well at the BW ZU BreadWinners. However, their other old gen seem rather weak.

4. Shiiny Shiinotics
(2nd SS, 2nd SM, 6th ORAS, 7th BW, 4th DPP)

Shiinotics are great at modern generations with their SM core and their first two SS players among the best in the tournament. Their main weaknesses are pichus, gorex, and Monai who aren't predicted to do well, but should get great help from their managers who are knowledgeable at SS, ORAS, and BW.

3. Cursed Trevenants
(4th SS, 5th SM, 1st ORAS, 3rd BW, 3rd DPP)

With an excellent ORAS and solid BW and DPP, Trevenants are predicted to be successful in the oldest generations. Their SS and SM cores are a little bit under but should do well enough thanks to the support of their managers and viet noa.

2. To Pimp A Butterfree
(4th SS, 4th SM, 5th ORAS, 2nd BW, 2nd DPP)

The Butterfree have a solid combination of top tour players and builders which should lead them to great success; Finchinator, SoulWind, and Beraldinho should be able to pilot well Xayah's, SuperEpicAmpharos' and TWiTT's team in their respective tiers. The other slots, while more mid, are also predicted to do mostly well, Xayah and Jett are solid mainers, while Raichy and clean seem like good pilots in ORAS and SS, respectively.

1. Fiery Flamencos
(3rd SS, 3rd SM, 3rd ORAS, 5th BW, 1st DPP)

Flamencos end up once again on the top of the Power Rankings. Despite DPP being a completely different metagame, Heysup is still expected to dominate the pool, while Danny has been ranked first out of all the 24 SS players. The other slots, while less solid, remain great, 5gen and Greybaum are ranked among the best in their respective tiers. The main weakenesses of the draft are ojr, swordstrike, and ayevon, who are good players with support from yovan, Danny, durza, and Greybaum, but are quite inexperimented with ZU.

I suppose you are talking about turn 33 of this game. I am not going to pretend I played that endgame perfectly, I think my turn 28 was pretty catastrophic. However, I can hardly see how you can blame this roll deciding the game as Tangela had very high chances to clutch this game.
