A fierce wallbreaker, Walking Wake can evaporate foes in sun using Hydro Steam and Protosynthesis. Additionally, its defensive typing allows it to switch into Fire-types like Heatran and Skeledirge, which may seek to take advantage of sun themselves. Dragon Pulse doesn't have the negative side effects of Draco Meteor; with Walking Wake's limited movepool, it may as well run both. Flamethrower targets Ferrothorn while also wounding Tera Fairy Gastrodon with the sun boost. Tera Dragon lets Walking Wake blow holes in common balance teams, as it can OHKO common defensive Pokemon such as Toxapex, which otherwise gives sun teams trouble. Tera Water is an effective alternative, as it powers up Hydro Steam to insane levels in sun. Torkoal sets sun for Walking Wake via Drought, activating Protosynthesis and boosting Hydro Steam and Flamethrower. In return, Walking Wake takes care of foes such as Mega Tyranitar and the aforementioned Toxapex. Mega Charizard Y is a great backup sun setter that takes great advantage of sun itself. Hatterene can prevent most teams from setting Stealth Rock; entry hazards annoy Walking Wake because it has no recovery. Great Tusk provides an Electric immunity for Walking Wake and can take care of foes like Ting-Lu and Toxapex. Victini provides excellent synergy with Walking Wake, blowing up Tapu Lele and Tapu Fini with V-create for it while also luring in Ground- and Rock-types such as. Tyranitar, nailing them with Hydro Steam. An EV spread with 244 Special Attack EVs can also be used, as that way Protosynthesis boosts Speed rather than Special Attack.

A fierce wall breaker, this is one word! Walking Wake is able to evaporate foes in Sun using Hydro Steam. Additionally, its defensive typing allows it to 4x resist Fire-type attacks, which is useful on Sun teams. i would be more specific and say you can switch in on fire types like heatran and skeledirge Draco Meteor provides a STAB move that nukes most of the tier. its really just big strong stab, not that relevant of info imo Dragon Pulse is used as a reliable STAB move that allows Walking Wake to stay on the field longer. reword to say you just dont get drawbacks and its much more freely usable Flamethrower is used to target bothersome Steel-types that are resistant to Hydro Steam, notably Ferrothron. just reword to say it hits ferrothorn specifically, its the only resistant target that matters Tera Dragon Terastal should be used in order to blow holes in common balance teams, as it can OHKO common defensive Pokemon such as OHKO Toxapex. Torkoal is a great teammate for Walking Wake, as it can activate Protosynthesis for Walking Wake by virtue of setting Sun via Drought. In return, Walking Wake takes care of foes such as Mega Tyranitar and the aforementioned Toxapex. For this reason, Mega Charizard Y is also a valued teammate. Hatterene provides a way to prevent most opponents from setting Stealth Rock, which annoys Walking Wake as it has no recovery. Great Tusk provides an Electric immunity for Walking Wake, while also being able to take care of foes like Tapu Lele and Tornadus-T. torn is a non factor no matter what move you're locked into, id use other examples like tera water ting lu and pex Victini provides excellent synergy with Walking Wake, as it can not blow up foes like? with V-Create while also luring Ground- and Rock-types such as Tyranitar for Walking Wake.

+ mention an ev spread with 244 SpA instead of max for a speed boost in sun, its a really really valid alternative
+ "sun", not "Sun", "V-create", not "V-Create"

Tera Water is also an effective alternative, as it powers up Hydro Steam to insane levels under Sun. you could prob add more to this but heres just a base; also expand on tera dragon more Torkoal is a great teammate for Walking Wake, as it can activate Protosynthesis for Walking Wake by virtue of setting sun via Drought. In return, Walking Wake takes care of foes such as Mega Tyranitar and the aforementioned Toxapex. For this reason, Mega Charizard Y is also a valued teammate. Whoever checks this - hidin mentioned that the word choice was a little bland but I'm having trouble spicing it up myself, so if you could include some suggestions regarding that I'd appreciate it a ton!

A fierce wallbreaker, Walking Wake is able to evaporate foes in sun using Hydro Steam. Additionally, its defensive typing allows it to switch into Fire-types like Heatran and Skeledirge (I feel like these 2 sentences could be merged and it would help sentences feel less terse). Dragon Pulse is used as a reliable STAB move that doesn't have ("lacks") the negative side effects of Draco Meteor (you haven't introduced why Draco is even on the set yet, that might help flow). Flamethrower is used to target ("scorches") Ferrothorn, (RC) while also wounding Tera Fairy Gastrodon. (you can maybe note the incredible power of Hydro Steam and Flamethrower with proto + sun boost as a way to add a sentence that isn't "X does Y" as a bridge here) Tera Dragon should be used in order to blow holes in common balance teams, as it can OHKO common defensive Pokemon such as Toxapex that otherwise give Sun sun teams trouble. Tera Water is also an effective alternative, as it powers up Hydro Steam to insane (I like "absurd" better here) levels under Sun sun. Torkoal is a great teammate for Walking Wake, as it can activate Protosynthesis for Walking Wake by virtue of setting sun via Drought ("...as Drought enables Walking Wake to obliterate its foes" or "as Drought makes Walking Wake a near-unstoppable force"). In return, Walking Wake takes care of foes such as Mega Tyranitar and the aforementioned Toxapex. For this reason, Mega Charizard Y is also a valued teammate (maybe change to "Walking Wake's sheer power under Drought also makes Mega Charizard Y a valuable teammate" or merge with Torkoal if Wake checks the same threats for it). Hatterene provides a way to prevents most opponents foes from setting Stealth Rock, which annoys Walking Wake as it has no due to its lack of recovery ("as" when used as "because" needs a comma beforehand which doesn't flow well here, so I suggest changing it). Great Tusk provides an Electric immunity for Walking Wake, (RC) while also being able to take care of foes like Ting-Lu and Toxapex. Victini provides excellent synergy with Walking Wake, as it can blow up foes Tapu Lele and Tapu Fini with V-create while also luring and lure Ground- and Rock-types such as Tyranitar (add a Ground-type example?) for Walking Wake. An EV spread with 244 Special Attack can also be used, as that way Speed is boosted to boost Speed when Protosynthesis is activated rather than Special Attack.

A fierce wallbreaker, Walking Wake is able to can evaporate foes in sun using Hydro Steam and Protosynthesis. (I mean, you're having sun when you use this, I imagine pss is fairly impactful, it feels fair to mention here to me? up to you though, maybe i overestimate its impact) Additionally, its defensive typing allows it to switch into Fire-types like Heatran and Skeledirge, which may seek to take advantage of sun themselves. (I imagine this makes sense? again, though, optional) Dragon Pulse is used as a reliable STAB move that doesn't have the negative side effects of Draco Meteor; with Walking Wake's limited movepool, it may as well run both. (like, I imagine?) Flamethrower is used to target Ferrothorn, targets Ferrothorn while also wounding Tera Fairy Gastrodon with the sun boost. Tera Dragon should be used in order to lets Walking Wake blow holes in common balance teams, as it can OHKO common defensive Pokemon such as Toxapex that Toxapex, which otherwise give Sun gives sun teams trouble. Mega Charizard Y is a great backup sun setter that takes great advantage of sun itself. (that's the impression I got; feel free to change as desired) Hatterene provides a way to prevent most opponents can prevent most teams (I imagine? "foes" is fine too) from setting Stealth Rock, which annoys Rock; entry hazards annoy (slight clarity to make absolutely obvious you dont mean hatt annoys ww, assuming 'entry hazards' as a whole is correct here) Walking Wake as because it has no recovery. Great Tusk provides an Electric immunity for Walking Wake, while also being able to Wake and can take care of foes like Ting-Lu and Toxapex. Victini provides excellent synergy with Walking Wake, as it can blow up foes blowing up Tapu Lele and Tapu Fini with V-create for it while also luring in Ground- and Rock-types such as Tyranitar for Walking Wake.
