Victini is a great wallbreaker on Psychic teams due to its well-rounded coverage and signature move in V-create, easing the matchup against Steel, Grass, and Ice teams. Bolt Strike threatens bulky Water-types such as Toxapex, Slowbro, and Tapu Fini that resist V-create. U-turn preserves Psychic's momentum and allows Victini to switch out of Pokemon that wall it like Dragonite and Mega Altaria. Trick cripples common switch-ins such as Storm Drain Gastrodon, Toxapex, and Skeledirge, while Brick Break lets Victini further threaten Steel and Dark teams by hitting Heatran and Mega Tyranitar hard. Choice Scarf Tapu Lele is an excellent teammate due to its ability to check Dark- and Dragon-types like Weavile, Kommo-o, and Hydreigon. It also sets up Psychic Terrain, preventing protecting Victini from priority moves from the likes of Mimikyu and Azumarill. Jirachi and Celebi aid in Victini's wallbreaking by setting up Stealth Rock and replenishing its health HP with Healing Wish. Furthermore, they form a pivot core with Victini that deals sizable chip damage while keeping momentum. Latias also provides Healing Wish support and removes entry hazards with Defog to preserve Victini's longevity. Mega Gallade and Victini can each weaken certain physical walls for the other to dispose of such as Ting-Lu and Skeledirge.
