Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

- Synthesis
- Sleep Powder

Venusaur, one of NU's most threatening wallbreakers due to its good Special Attack, sound typing both offensively and defensively, access to high-powered STAB moves, decent bulk, and versatility, is currently being suspect tested. This set is the most common and a major reason as to why it is being suspect tested, as it's arguably the easiest to use and preys on defensive staples such as Slowbro, Steelix, and Mega Audino. Venusaur's impunity to Toxic in conjunction with its access to reliable recovery in Synthesis separates it from other wallbreakers in the tier like Guzzlord and Heliolisk, since this gives balanced teams a much harder time wearing it down. The few Pokemon that resist Venusaur's STAB types such as Golbat and Silvally-Steel find switching directly in difficult due to Sleep Powder incapacitating them. Outside of this, however, Venusaur is incapable of doing much to bulkier Poison- and Steel-types, so it appreciates being paired with Pokemon like Medicham. Venusaur's typing and merely decent Speed tier also leave it vulnerable to faster Fire-, Flying-, Ice-, and Psychic-types, meaning that it appreciates having teammates such as Blastoise, Rotom, Hariyama, and Sneasel to fall back on.

no actual grammar errors besides "preys on the hardest", which i dont think makes much sense, but it was 1200 characters at the beginning so i tried to cut it down a bit. there isnt really anything to cut down but i left some suggestions for what you could but i didnt know if you'd want to
