[A Cake Wearing A Hat]

If teams wish to conduct a trade, both managers MUST PM A Cake Wearing A Hat on the FORUMS to have the trade be official. Be very specific.

A retention becomes official once a manager and the player PM the host, A Cake Wearing A Hat, on FORUMS, to confirm retention. An official retention means neither the team nor the player can refuse retention; this means a team loses the cost it is to retain the player and the player is tied to the team with the same sportsmanship expectations as expected from a draft addition.

This thread will be updated as retentions and manager purchases occur.

All retains will be the former purchase price + 3k, aside from the following multi-year retains:

The minimum retain price is 10k.

The Iki Town Idols manager Sage has purchased her own playing rights for 16k.

A trade between the Blackthorn City Battle Girls and the Friend Safari Pokemon Trainers was started, in an attempt to trade Rodriblutar for xJoelituh. Rodriblutar was extremely displeased with the team he was drafted into and refused to join the team discord and desired to not be a starter whenever possible. There is evidence that Rodriblutar heavily considered refusing to play altogether but instead opted to do the absolute minimum possible amount of participation for the team in an attempt to prevent a ban from the tournament. Pif was the one who initiated the trade, as he had the preconception from the word of some teammates that Rodriblutar would not play. The trade was the cause of significant miscommunication on the part of the manager and player, and Rodriblutar took advantage of this miscommunication in order to get out of playing for the team for which he was drafted easily.

I'm considering this minor team cancering on the part of Rodriblutar and nullifying the trade. Rodriblutar will not participate as a player in this edition of UUPL, and pokeisfun will gain the ability to draft one replacement player of his choice from the current pool. Kink will keep xJoelituh on the Blackthorn City Battle Girls.

Tier shifts occurred this week. These tier shifts will not go into effect until week 2 of uupl. Therefore, please play all SM UU games in [Gen 7] OU. Kommo-o is allowed, mega sableye isn't.

As was said in week 1's thread, col49 vs. Sam I Yam has been ruled a dead game. This is because neither player really went to any lengths to contact each other after the initial conversation until after col was gone, and while col49 technically did do somewhat more in showing his availability, he ultimately didn't show enough initiative in scheduling to get an activity win.

It's come to my attention that the ADV UU format on PS allows NFE Pokemon. Therefore, a reminder: ALL NFE Pokemon bar Scyther are not allowed in ADV UU matches in UUPL. Thank you for understanding.

Mega Sableye is being suspected. It will not be allowed in UUPL matches for the duration of the suspect. If it is unbanned, it will be available for use in UUPL the week after its unban.

Re: Week 5 - EviGaro vs. craing ;_;:

EviGaro contacted craing on his wall and attempted to schedule. Craing actively stated that he did not want to play. They scheduled a time anyway, as EviGaro appeared to still be interested in the idea of playing, although she acknowledged the possibility of not doing so. At the scheduled time, the Mikan Island Monsters had won the week already. EviGaro was online during this time period, and craing was not. Pearl, the manager of the Mikan Island Monsters, endorsed shortly after the scheduled time of the match that EviGaro "did not need to play [craing]" in a humorous manner. EviGaro, who was online at the time and waiting for a challenge, reacted to this message by posting in the thread.

Ruling: This is an activity win for EviGaro. This differs from the previous activity ruling scenario (col49 vs. Sam I Yam) in that one player actively stated they did not want to play throughout the scheduling process.

Re: Accelgor vs. craing ;_;

Accelgor VM'd craing on monday asking when they were going to play. craing replied on Friday, citing a two-hour window of time on friday-sunday as his entire availability. Accelgor attempts to get the game done on Friday, but craing does not show up. Accelgor then proposed a tentative time on Sunday. craing's next message was at the scheduled time on Sunday, saying that he was ready to play. Accelgor did not appear for this time.

Ruling: This is a dead game. Accelgor did not appear for the ultimately proposed time, but craing had an extremely small window of availability, replied very late, missed one of his stated available times, and was overall very lax in communication.

Re: Diophantine vs. choolio

I can find no record of this game being scheduled at all whatsoever aside from Diophantine apparently asking for a sub (for himself) at one point and the game supposedly being today. I don't know if choolio was online at that time or anything. This is a mystery to me.

Ruling: This is a dead game because i have no information to prove otherwise.
