Here is your first Haunter + Sleep Bellossom team Celebiii! As promised I'll be posting a second one with a Thief variant of Haunter within the next few days too <3

The premise of this team revolves around Haunter taking advantage of some of Bellossoms main Sleep targets - Rest Talk Mr. Mime and Hypno in particular, which Haunter also struggles with. While Haunter could often Thief them in these structures, they are both perfectly capable of still checking both all game unless Haunter booms on them, which it can often struggle to do when it's relegated to checking Granbull. This team instead tries to take advantage of Bellossom's Sleep support by having Haunter run a Sub + Nightmare set. By adding an extra base 50% damage to all 2 turn Sleep rotations, Haunter is able to apply serious levels of pressure in combination with Substitute + Night Shade here. Night Shade also has the added benefit of doing 70% damage to Mr.Mime over two turns on switch in - a mon you are naturally faster than anyway, preventing it from really checking you that well even when awake. Sub has side benefits in terms of scouting switches into Pokemon like Nidoqueen too when forcing out a Pokemon such as Granbull.

All of this is so far is fantastic but Rest Talk Mr. Mime really rounds off this combination with your fantastic standard switch-in to Psychic types and the like. It blends offensive power with defensive utility against threats like Gyarados and personal longevity beautifully, and loves Haunter being able to nuke its main checks on opposing teams in terms of opposing Mr. Mime or Hypno, leading to it being your main long term win condition. Qwilfish provides Spikes support to help Mime and Haunter provide offensive pressure during the match and adds important damage to Nidoqueen trying to check Haunter, also provides Haze support to support against stufff lik Scyther.

Gligar and Piloswine provide much needed support against Scyther and form a traditionally strong defensive synergy against all Nidoqueen variants. Piloswine provides extra immediate wallbreaking power through its dangerous stab combination paired with Spikes, extremely threatening against Pokemon like Mr.Mime and Hypno at base, while Gligar offers Thief support into Pokemon like Slowking and Blastoise, and has Counter support to help deal with Pokemon like BD Quagsire. Bellossom appreciates these two taking some pressure off it against Pokemon like Nidoqueen, and Mime checking twave Psychics for it, this opens up more avenues to keep Bellossom healthy and uncrippled for threats like Kabutops. Paralysis spreading with Bellossom has value to support Haunter against Nidoqueen with opportunities to safely get full para's while behind a sub and stopping scyther freely setting up on it.

Tested this with Reeece earlier, had a decent replay out of it. While Haunter dosn't take out Mr.Mime itself, it does however show how the team overall functions and you can see how my Haunter is able to be used more liberary knowing that Mr.Mime cant come into it, and displays the fierceness of the Rest Talk Mime + Rest Talk Piloswine combination.

Hey Nezloe, so I've joined to the UU teambuilding lab a few hours ago. Anyways, here's your Diggersby + Salamence + Sylveon team!

This team is built around SD Diggersby, which is a very strong breaker given that Mega Kick + Earthquake breaks through everything and Quick Attack can revenge kill many stuff too. Then I wanted to slap 3 attacks Salamence as it has good coverage while also being a decent Rain Check thanks to Intimidate and it's good bulk overall. SubCM Sylveon was chosen over Cleric Sylveon here as we needed a solid wincon and it's overall a good wincon thanks to its good bulk and access to Mystical Fire and Hyper Voice combo. Amoonguss is a good glue able to check Primarina and Keldeo while also having access to Spore. Rotom-Wash Scarf brings Speed Control and a way to beat Gyarados while also having access to Defog. Jirachi has been picked on the last slot as it brings Stealth Rocks support to the team while also having pivoting capabilities and it brings to the team a solid check to Psychic-types too. Hope you enjoy the team and lmk if u have any questions. Shoutouts to everyone which helped me both, at building and at testing.

Scolipede Rain offense (pokepast.es)

Hello there Rawbi, I have your rain team here! Not gonna lie scolipede was a pretty awkward fit on here, but I managed to make it work since I've been wanting to build with it for some time. Here is a basic offensive rain squad, pelipper is the setter and Barraskewda and Heliolisk are the typical rain wallbreakers. Jirachi provides stealth rock to support the team as well as Healing wish to patch up a low health scolipede, barraskewda, or heliolisk to wallbreak again. Zarude provides the team another pivot to get in scolipede safely as well as an electric-type check. Team has worked fine on the ladder, hope you enjoy it! Thanks to those who helped me test it.

Hey HydreigonTheChild and Low-Key so I've put together both requests, however, a Thundy GKnot will be provided soon as well, so stay tuned!

WP Aegislash + NP Thundurus-T is a core which can tear through many teams, as they both are very powerful sweepers overall. Grimmsnarl Eject Button was chosen by Monky25, it's a momentum grabber thanks to this item which can also set screens and make use of Taunt. Gyarados + Necrozma are two strong sweepers as well and Krook Lead can remove items and hit hard, Intimidate is also cool. Hope you enjoy the team and lmk if u have any questions.

:thundurus-therian: :nidoqueen: :zarude: :cobalion: :primarina: :lycanroc-dusk:

here's your non webs thundy team! without webs support thundy gets revenged by a lot so i thought i'd go with a pivot set. nidoqueen was my first thought for a teammate because it can check nihilego for thundy, abuse the stuff thundy volts on and appreciates chansey being knocked. zarude is the ghost resist / krook check, and forms a good voltturn core with thundurus. originally i had scarf mienshao next but coba ended up being necessary so the team doesn't lose to opposing zarude. resttalk prim serves as a glue mon for the team, checking keldeo, dragons, opposing lycan etc. our own lycan rounds out the team giving you a means to revenge +1 gyara, mence, and non-scarf keldeos. azelf is a pretty big threat to this team so try to limit its set-up opportunities and/or trade with it to put it in accelrock range. enjoy!

THKNKG

:weezing-galar: :necrozma: :zarude: :aegislash: :mamoswine: :noivern:

this team wasn't specifically built around noivern + a psychic but it did have both on it. this is a weezing ho where the idea is to use one of your misty seed sweepers to open holes for the other. weezing provides the necessary terrain support and checks zarude. misty seed necrozma is able to use the +1spdef to become significantly more difficult to break, while misty seed zarude is able to use the extra bulk to trade with usual checks. its also able to lure bulky grasses with a +1 itemless acrobatics. aegislash provides the team with some of the defensive capabilities of a steel type and helps lure dark types like opposing zarude and moltres-g. mamo provides breaking power, a way of revenging +1 mence, and an electric immunity. noivern rounds out the team as a fighting resist, checking keldeo and grabbing momentum for your wincons / mamo. hope you enjoy!

Here is the second team I promised you Celebiii <3

As i discussed in the first post, Thief Explosion Haunter has a lot of value as an offensive threat on paper but is unable to really utilise this in practice unless you pair it up with a second reliable Granbull answer as it's really held back from booming. Enter Magneton here on this team. Magneton is a quite unique Pokemon in GSC UU as the only (viable) Steel-type, it sits on stuff like Mr. Mime really nicely and has the raw power to 3HKO Hypno with Thunder. Rest Talk sets serve as nice counters to a bunch of Pokemon like Rest Talk Mime, mono normal Granbull, and although 3hkoed by Hydro Pump, it has a really good Gyarados matchup too. While these two are obviously vulnerable to HP Ground Granbull, it struggles with set up opportunities a lot more, is still vulnerable to an Explosion from Haunter and Thunder from Magneton, and will tend to lose Granbull 1v1s due to no Rest Talk.

So how do Haunter and Bellossom provide value to this team? Haunter's Booms really open up doorways for Nidoqueen in terms of getting through Pokemon like Hypno, Mr. Mime, and Slowking, while its ability to Thief or Boom Nidoqueen or Piloswine has huge value for Magneton. Bellossom provides value by providing Stun Spore support into Nidoqueen so that Magneton can outspeed it and improving Granbull's matchup versus Pokemon like Slowking with Sleep Powder.

Qwilfish is here for Spikes, but Haze support is helpful for Scyther in emergencies, since the team can struggle with HP Ground Scyther if given free opportunities and Nidoqueen and Granbull are weakened. Granbull rounds out the team with your catch all Nidoqueen and Scyther check and wallbreaker and win condition. Try not to let it get overwhelmed as it's your main way of dealing with Fire Blast Nidoqueen and HP Ground Scyther, but can handle them decently on top of multiple offensive checks to Nidoqueen and emergency Sleep Powder/Stun Spore from Bellossom, and Fire Blast nidoqueen + emergency haze qwilfish for Scyther, which has limited set up opportunities to begin with, with none of them risk free due to Stun Spore from Bellossom (HP Ground won't be Miracle Berry 99% of the time) and the potential of a raw Thunder from a healthy Magneton.

Hope you enjoy :3

Hey! Tryna get into Showdown again for the first time in forever, looking for a viable Aurora Veil team in this tier (if that exists), and, failing that, something that uses Belly Drum Azumarill (bonus points if either can include an eevee evolution).

Here is your Piloswine team pokemonisfun!

Rest Talk Piloswine is a beast offensively with solid defensive utility, its STABs hit harder than Nidoqueen's Earthquake/Ice Beam, noticeably letting it comfortably 3HKO Hypno without any support. It also doesn't come with a pesky Psychic or Ice weakness, making it far more suitable at checking Electabuzz and Haunter. There are a couple of issues you definitely have to be wary of when using and building with it however, the biggest ones being that Fire Blast is by far the more common standard on Nidoqueen, and that Piloswine is a bit of an unreliable Scyther check as once it's asleep its unlikely to pull a move that can actually threaten it.

This team revolves around using Piloswine as a threatening early-to-mid game wallbreaker in conjunction with Spikes and Thief support. Curse Qwilfish is used to keep Spikes up reliably against Blastoise, which is definitely one of your better Piloswine checks. Thief + Hidden Power Electric Omastar gives you a normal resist that can remove the items from Piloswine checks like Blastoise and Slowbro; HP Electric is useful to dissuade Qwilfish trying to take the Thief in particular, and stops Gyarados switching in on you freely.

Hypno gives you a nice Mr. Mime and Nidoqueen check, and provides insane value to your Piloswine by letting it stay in against targets like Slowking to pressure them even heavier if Light Screen is up. Light Screen also lets you more aggressively bring Piloswine in on Mr. Mime so that you don't need to play Hypno stalemates with it. Jumpluff gives you a much needed solid primary Scyther answer alongside Piloswine and Omastar and back-up Granbull answer due to no Rest on Omastar, its double powder support is very useful here too in letting Piloswine outspeed threats like Qwilfish and Nidoqueen.

Granbull rounds out the team with a nice additional breaker and win condition, and way of pressuring targets like Rest Gyarados that would otherwise endlessly harass your team and heal off all their damage while burning sleep turns against Piloswine and Hypno. Thunder is used over Sleep Talk here as a neat way of breaking through Omastar - in particular if Spikes are up, you can 2HKO Omastar on switch-in with a paralysis on the first Thunder, removing Granbulls biggest Counter. The rest of the team appreciates this as otherwise your Hypno will be forced to defensively check it and potentially pick up a burn. It also hits Haunter still and lets Piloswine / Hypno take it out without even needing to take an Explosion if it lands a paralysis on them.

Granbull likes the Light Screen support here to better pressure Slowtwins / Ampharos. Rest without Sleep Talk is manageable here as Scyther / Nidoqueen are solidly covered by other members of the team, and you can try to burn sleep turns with Light Screen up against special attackers like Mime / Hypno / Slowtwins. (example of how to wake it into like an amphy/hypno/stoise core and cause trouble with it thanks to LS - https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen2uu-1417393440).

Hope you enjoy the team!

Many thanks and much gratitude for the team and the explanation. I will contact you with any questions.

Hey guys, I'm back with my first-ever request for an old-gen team! I would like an SM team with Nasty Plot Infernape and Dragon Dance Feraligatr. It would be preferable for this to also be a screens team, but it's totally fine if it isn't!

:sm/infernape:
Infernape @ Fightinium Z / Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Fire Blast
- Focus Blast
- Vacuum Wave

:sm/feraligatr:
Feraligatr @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Liquidation
- Ice Punch

This is a pretty basic spikestack but features Zeraora instead of Mimikyu as the anti offense mon since it can have a sick matchup against fat without Mega Altaria or Amoonguss. Zeraora is nice against Voltturn with how it outspeeds Mega Manectric too, and takes some pressure off Swampert. Swampert's bulk lets it check a decent amount of the tier and while setting up Stealth Rock. Froslass lead is consistent and does the usual spikestacking. Scizor and Latias are simply the best Pokemon in the tier and are deadly behind the hazards. Scizor with double priority further strengths the offense matchup. Superpower muscles past Steel-types like opposing Scizor and Mega Aggron. STABS + Hidden Fire on Latias covers most Pokemon too. Hidden Power for Scizor is essential since nearly all the Bullet Punch resists can be worn down by their own Life Orbs. Mega Sharpedo is a must on any spikestack with its offensive prowess and Speed Boost cleanup potential.

StarFalcon555
Infernape and Feraligatr are solid sweepers and can find more opportunities under screens to set up. Krookodile does a good job of getting up Steath Rock, can prevent the opponent getting their own hazards or removing through Taunt, and serves as an electric-immune Pokemon that can be preserved against Mega Manectric. Xatu is a nice Screens setter with Magic Bounce preventing Defog from removing the Screens and blocks Toxic Spikes, etc. Mega Altaria and Scizor are potent sweepers that round out the team. Facade Fire Blast Altaria lets can be played aggressively into status like in the stall matchup and hits Pokemon like Amoonguss decently hard. Fire Blast Altaria is great for hitting Doublade that Scizor cannot touch here as well. Scizor munches Pyukumuku and Amoonguss with Bug Bite. Superpower smacks the Steel-types, most importantly Empoleon that Altaria cannot touch without Earthquake.

OmBrArch Here's the Hail team with Aegi! sorry for the delay :psynervous:

Hail is noticeably weaker with Arctozolt no longer around, but good thing Arctovish is here for us! Right? This is relatively standard, with Ninetales setting up the weather and Arctovish being able to do it's thing and click Fishious Rend. We decided to go with Dark Pulse on Ninetales to hit Aegislash and Custap on Arctovish to get a cheeky hit in when Hail isn't active or to damage Choice Scarf users like Jirachi. Amoonguss puts Pokemon to sleep to give our breakers freedom to click their moves, and Thundurus and Kommo-o round us off with the ability to position Aegislash, Arctovish and Kommo-o into Pokemon they can abuse, and for Kommo-o's case letting it set up with Clangorous Soul.

enjoy the team and have fun out there! o7

Hello beautiful people from the UU building lab, I've played a total of maybe 2 SM matches which is why I would like to request a team with the boi...
:chandelure: As I said I have a general inexperience with the tier so I don't have any other specific requests other than I rly want chandy to shine and it that it isn't very difficult to pilot. Ive heard its a relatively niche Pokemon but I really hope the builders can make it work, Thanks!

Thanks so much for the SM team! Now I have one more team request to make before shifts. I would like a team based around RestTalk Galarian Moltres. It's really becoming a great mon lately as one of the best Aegi counters, and I would really like to see what you guys come up with!

Arahane Hey! we've delayed a little so I'm sorry for that, hopefully you enjoy the team though!

You wanted an Aurora Veil team so we've decided to pick Alolan Ninetales, as it's the best Aurora Veil available. Eject Button is meant to let it be a one-time-momentum-grabber, allowing it to not be a complete momentum sap. As for details of it's moveset, I've choose Dark Pulse to hit important threats such as Aegislash and Rachi, as alongside Hypnosis they are unable to switch into it. Azumarill is a good screens abuser thanks to it's access to Belly Drum and it's ability to hit through a good part of the tier while also wear downing it's checks thanks to it's access to Knock Off. Celesteela comes in hand as a nice setup sweeper able to cheese through unprepared teams while also being able to simultaneously check Salamence, Aegislash and Krookodile (sort of) and boosting in threats such as Zarude, non-Specs Primarina and Sylveon. Azelf provides to the team a speed control, as the team was pretty slow overall. It also is able to boost and tear apart many teams if it's checks are heavily chipped. Kommo-O Lum Berry gives the team a one-time status absorber while also being able to boost in threats such as SubToxic Aegislash, Umbreon and Rotom-Wash. Krookodile provides to the team a lead and provides us a Knock Off user. Enjoy!
Oh yeah and a little advice when playing with this team, if there's an Azumarill check at full health / not in Aqua Jet range and it's faster than it, don't boost, instead try to wear down it with Knock Off and with the teammates until you are able to boost.
I might be sending a replay of the team in action (with a kinda old version of the team) later, so stay tuned!
