Weavile @ Choice Band
Ability: Pickpocket
EVs: 208 Atk / 48 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Pursuit
- Knock Off
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard

48 Defense EVs let you live a +2 QA from Mega Pinsir and scarf Lando EQ from full. Found this useful when I decided to replace Tyranitar with Weavile as the pursuit trapper / Torn-T answer on my team, and suddenly found myself lacking a flying resist.

Heracross-Mega @ Heracronite
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 248 HP / 116 Atk / 144 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- Rock Blast
- Pin Missile
- Swords Dance
  • Outpaces Adamant Tyranitar
  • Maximises bulk, to help get off SDs
  • Rest in attack to be boosted by SD

Kyurem-Black @ Life Orb
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 128 Atk / 168 SpA / 212 Spe
Lonely Nature
- Ice Beam
- Fusion Bolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Roost
  • 2hkoes Chansey in Electric terrain
  • Outpaces Timid Heatran (To note, only relevant losses in speed are Jolly LandoT and M.Garchomp, and loses speed tie with Lele)
  • Keeps decent Spatk

Kyurem-Black @ Life Orb
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Ice Beam
- Fusion Bolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Roost
If you're worried about speed loss, this still 2hkos Chansey the large majority of the time

Scizor-Mega @ Scizorite
Ability: Light Metal
EVs: 248 HP / 88 Atk / 36 SpD / 136 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- Roost
- Swords Dance
  • Outpaces max Spe Modest Magnezone
  • Lives Scarf Zones Hp Fire after Rocks (also meaning it lives Scarf Leles Fire)
  • Ohkoes no bulk Zone after 2 rounds of rocks, or Superpower into Bullet Punch after one round

Tapu Fini @ Leftovers
Ability: Misty Surge
EVs: 240 HP / 96 Def / 12 SpA / 96 SpD / 64 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Moonblast
- Taunt
- Defog
  • 2hkos no bulk Heatran
  • Lives +2 Acro from Hawlucha after Rocks
  • Outpaces Adamant Tyranitar
  • Spedef hits jump point then rest in Hp

Slowbro @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 176 Def / 80 SpD
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Slack Off
- Toxic

This is an alternative to the spread that's currently posted with more physdef investment.
  • Spdef is enough to avoid the OHKO from Charizard Y's Solar Beam, in case you misread Charizard X.
    • It also avoids 2HKO from Choice Specs Keldeo Hydro Pump after rocks, w/ or w/o Leftovers
  • 176 defense hits a jump point
    • More likely to avoid 2HKO from +1 Charizard X's Dragon Claw
    • You survive CB Tyranitar Crunch / CB Weavile Knock Off from full. If your opponent brings it out on a double you can Slack Off to see what they are locked into and avoid being Pursuit trapped
    • Other things: you survive Marowak's Shadow Bone, +1 Crunch from Mega Gyarados, +2 Return from Pinsir

Latias @ Latiasite
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Recover
- Stored Power
- Substitute

248 hp / 8 def instead of 252 hp / 4 def guarantees that Ferrothorn's Knock Off does not break your substitute.

Kartana @ Normalium Z / Choice Band / Choice Scarf
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 48 HP / 196 Atk / 12 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Leaf Blade
- Sacred Sword
- Smart Strike
- Knock Off
  • Lives 2 Moonblasts from Tapu Fini/Clefable
  • Survives Tbolt from Koko/Moonblast from Diancie/Ice Beam from M-Latias/Fleur Cannon from AV Mage after rocks
  • Never OHKO'd by +2 Sucker Punch from Mawile
  • Almost always lives Jolly Pert Superpower

Mantine @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 60 Def / 196 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Defog
- Scald
- Roost
- Haze

Lives 2 Secret Swords from Choice Specs Keldeo after rocks and Leftovers recovery. There is now a chance to be 2HKO'd by Ash-Greninja / Specs Blacephalon after rocks, but it's extremely small (2% / 0.4% respectively).

Time to bump this thread again. Here's a bulky Mega Mawile set.

Mawile-Mega @ Mawilite
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 HP / 216 Atk / 12 SpD / 28 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Play Rough
- Sucker Punch
- Knock Off / Thunder Punch

I always felt that Mega Mawile's recommended spread was too fast. Since most Mega Venusaur don't run a Speed decreasing nature, Mawile can afford to shift most of its EVs to bulk instead. This allows it to survive Choice Specs Greninja's Hydro Pump before it transforms, survive Timid Manaphy's Hydro Vortex, and even survive uninvested Volcarona's Flamethrower 93.8% of the time. The Attack EVs give it an extra point in Attack, while the Speed EVs allow it to outspeed -Spd Celesteela. The Attack cut isn't a big deal, since it's not guaranteed to OHKO standard Toxapex or Celesteela with +2 Knock Off even with max Attack unless Rocks are on the field.

Offensive calcs:
⦁ +2 216+ Atk Huge Power Mawile-Mega Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Toxapex: 269-317 (88.4 - 104.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock (31.3% without SR)
⦁ +2 216+ Atk Huge Power Mawile-Mega Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 248 HP / 28 Def Celesteela: 368-433 (92.6 - 109%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock (56.3% without SR)

Defensive calcs:
⦁ 252 SpA Choice Specs Greninja Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 12 SpD Mawile-Mega: 237-279 (77.9 - 91.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
⦁ 0 SpA Heatran Lava Plume vs. 252 HP / 12 SpD Mawile-Mega: 222-264 (73 - 86.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after 1 layer of Spikes
⦁ 0 SpA Volcarona Flamethrower vs. 252 HP / 12 SpD Mawile-Mega: 260-308 (85.5 - 101.3%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO
⦁ 252 SpA Manaphy Hydro Vortex (175 BP) vs. 252 HP / 12 SpD Mawile-Mega: 246-289 (80.9 - 95%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (Modest has 31.3% chance to OHKO)
⦁ 0 Atk Tangrowth Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Mawile-Mega: 120-142 (39.4 - 46.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock

Landorus-Therian @ Iapapa Berry
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 120 HP / 100 Atk / 140 Def / 148 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Swords Dance
- Stealth Rock

one of my favorite rockers on offense, definitely unexplored as everyones quick to go with suicide lead or z fly if theyre not using scarf with the occasional offensive z sets but i think 3 attacks is better on those personally. Anyway, this spread accomplishes a lot of cool things like outspeeding standard fini and as a result timid magearna and modest tran, living nonspecs kokos hp ice after stealth rock, almost always ohkoing zapdos with +2 edge, having a very high chance to live play rough into sucker punch from mawile after rocks thus gaining back your health from iapapa and killing them in return with eq.

252 SpA Tapu Koko Hidden Power Ice vs. 120 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-Therian: 256-304 (73.3 - 87.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
+2 100+ Atk Landorus-Therian Stone Edge vs. 248 HP / 240+ Def Zapdos: 380-448 (99.2 - 116.9%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO after Leftovers recovery
-1 252+ Atk Huge Power Mawile-Mega Play Rough vs. 120 HP / 140 Def Landorus-Therian: 175-207 (50.1 - 59.3%)
-1 252+ Atk Huge Power Mawile-Mega Sucker Punch vs. 120 HP / 140 Def Landorus-Therian: 90-107 (25.7 - 30.6%)

Calm Mind Mega-Slowbro:

Slowbro-Mega @ Slowbronite
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 188 HP / 252 Def / 24 SpA / 44 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Scald
- Psyshock
- Slack Off

This spread is pretty simple, 44 Spe allows you to outspeed Toxapex, which is important considering that is a Calm Mind set and should avoid getting hazed, while 24 Spa allow you to OHKO Hawlucha after a round of rocks, 188 HP and 252+ Def are just for maximizing defensive bulk, it's worth mentioning that 188 HP maxes Regenerator Healing, which is useful because in some situations you want to remain in regular form to abuse Regen.

Bulky LO-Clefable:

Clefable @ Life Orb
Bold Nature
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 120 HP / 252 Def / 88 Spe / 48 SpA
- Soft-Boiled
- Thunderbolt
- Moonblast
- Fire Blast

I wanted a mon to take on dark type attacks that threatened my team, while also being able to hit steel types by surprise and threatening balances, so i've made this Life Orb Clefable set with a lot of bulk and a little bit of Special Attack, Tbh I think this set is very specific and tries to do two different things at the same time while being mediocre at both, so only use this if you feel like it fits your team, if you're just in need of a fully offensive Clefable, then i'd suggest looking for other spreads.

This LO Clef set has enough bulk to survive:

  • Three Returns from Mega-Lopunny
  • two HJKs from Mega-Medicham(useful against double priority mmedi)
  • One + 2 no item Acrobatics from Hawlucha
  • Has a 56% chance to live a +1 Flare Blitz from Zard X at full
  • Living Kommo-o's +6 Tpunch and taking two neutral Poison Jabs from the Z set.

While this set has little offensive capability, it can:

  • OHKO M-Lopunny, Hawlucha, and M-Medicham with Moonblast
  • Deal 76 min-91% max to Ferrothorn with Fire Blast, meaning it has a positive chance to KO Thorn if it switches in on rocks and after Moonblast damage(40 SpA Life Orb Clefable Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 232+ SpD Ferrothorn: 270-322 (76.7 - 91.4%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery). the exact same thing happens to Mega-Scizor, but Sciz takes more damage.
  • 3HKO Celesteela with Fire Blast, meaning that if you predict the switch and hit it with either Tbolt or FB as it comes in, you can actually take Cele while taking only one Heavy Slam. This is guaranteed and the only risk of you not taking the kill is if you miss Fire Blast, which unfortunaly happens a lot.

Flamethrower is not acceptable with this spread, because of Celesteela's and Ferrothorn's calc.

This spread isn't that good offensively, but if your teams needs a little bit more help with Dark or Fighting types, while still wanting to maintain immediate offensive pressure, or wanting to lure steel types just to hit them with super-effective hits, then that's the set for you!

Hydreigon Bulky Defogger:

Hydreigon @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 44 HP / 88 SpA / 144 SpD / 232 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Defog
- Dark Pulse
- Roost
- Draco Meteor

I built this set with Ash-Greninja in mind, since the standard Smogon set can't take on it after the evolution very well, while this spread right here can, Hydrei has been getting more and more popular recently so I think that by sharing this set right here it could help a lot of people. This is also my favorite of the 3 spreads!

Bulky Hydrei is an A-Gren check capable of removing hazards, and recovering its health with roost, Draco Meteor is so you can drop some strong hits even with a reduced Spa stat, and it is mainly used to hit Greninja hard. Dark Pulse is its main STAB that can hit Psychics hard, and is also more spammable considering it doesnt have an immunity and doesn't drop the user's Special attack.

44 HP and 144 SpD is so you can live 3 Hydro Pumps from evolved Ash-Greninja. You have to be careful with hazard control tho, since Hydrei cant really take those hits well after a round of rocks, and has a 32% chance to actually get 2HKOed after rocks chip. 44 HP also helps with Lefties recovery., since it results in an HP stat divisble by 16(if i'm wrong about this just tell me pls).
Hydreigon can even take on unevolved Greninja with the occasional Ice Beam, and it also has a chance to 1v1 Mega-Latias after some chip or status crippling, since it has a 41% chance to live 2 neutral Ice Beams from it.
232 speed lets it outspeed Timid non-scarf Lele.
