Hello and welcome to the second Ubers World Cup!! Last year we saw US South, blinded by propaganda of "The Strap" and gaining the strength to become the first winners. Canada came close in a final that some people wanted both sides to lose, but nonetheless we were delivered a thriller series that went to a tiebreak. The format may be hated by a few, but it is undeniable that it does bring some new and hidden talents to the spotlight, and I hope we can achieve the same just as Generation 9 is coming close.
And yes this is also the place where you can meme about this tour not having Gen 9 but we can't just do a team tour right after a new gen release and if we wait a bit then it would end just before UWTT and if we move that then UPL will also need to shift and we also didn't want to just delete UWTT and we had already said UWC would happen so we couldn't delete that so we've tried our best to not have the tour clash with Gen 9 release and at worst have the finals in the release week which has also restricted our choices in what format to follow I know people didn't like pools but maybe 2 weeks instead of 3 weeks works or we divide into many groups for weeks but weeks might just be too long anyway but this all depends on the number of teams we get so we can't just finalize a format so early and I request you to not lie on your signups it's funny for 4 people but it increases the work for our hosts a lot because all of you unfunnies add up to a big number that translates to a few hours spent just checking on your eligibility and how much you're lying and if you've ever even been to France anyway thank you so much for reading this and thank you to both our hosts for taking on this punishment of a job AND I WISH ALL OF YOU A JOLLY GOOD TIME IN THIS TOURNAMENT
