Welcome to the second edition of Ubers Winter League, an all-Ubers team tournament where managers draft from the pool of players to compete in a five-week round-robin battle for Ubers supremacy. Additionally, each week, managers can decide to boost one slot, making the slot effective for 2 wins (and if both teams boost the same slot, it's worth 3 wins).

Hello everyone, this year your hosts are 7u9i2 and myself.

Here's a few things to remember:
- A replay / log of your match must be saved and posted or it will be considered invalid. No exceptions.
- General tournament rules and regulations apply. Pokemon Showdown is the default simulator for all metagames unless both parties agree. If you play on anywhere that isn't PS! you must save a log of the match. All matches are best of one, except for the RBY slot.
- Underlined matches will be counted as single boosted slots which count for 2 wins, Bolded and underlined matches will be counted as double boosted slots which count for 3 wins, with a * indicating which players were boosted.

If the Giratinas win / tie the week:
  • They are in playoffs
If the Giratinas lose the week:
  • They are in playoffs unless both the Frost Monkeys and the Tinkatons win and make up enough differential to push them out of playoffs.
  • A tiebreak would happen if the Giratinas lose 8-6 and either team wins 11-3 or any equivalent change in differential. (-2/+8, -4/+6 etc.)
  • If the giratinas lose more differential than this and/or both the Tinkatons and the Frost Monkeys gain more than this, the giratinas are out.
If the Thieves win / tie the week:
  • They are in playoffs.
If the Thieves lose the week:
  • They are in playoffs unless both the Frost Monkeys and the Tinkatons win and make up enough differential to push them out of playoffs.
  • A tiebreak would happen if the Thieves lose 8-6 and either team wins 9-5 or any equivalent change in differential. (-2/+6, -4/+4 etc.).
  • If the Thieves lose more differential than this and/or both the Tinkatons and the Frost Monkeys gain more than this, the Thieves are out.

If the Frost Monkeys win the week:
  • They are in playoffs if the Tinkatons either lose / tie the week or win by any less amount.
  • If the Tinkatons win by more, either the InSomnia Giratinas or the Spectral Thieves would have to lose enough differential to let both teams at 4 points advance.
  • A tiebreak happens if the Monkeys and Tinkatons win by the same amount.
If the Frost Monkeys tie the week:
  • They will be in playoffs if the Tinkatons lose the week.
  • If the Tinkatons tie the week, then it will be a tiebreak for third seed.
  • If the Tinkatons win the week, the Frost Monkeys are out.
If the Frost Monkeys lose the week:
  • They need the Tinkatons to also lose the week, and they need to win enough games to not allow the Lunalas or the Qwillas to catch up in differential.
  • A tiebreak happens if the Tinkatons lose by the same amount, or the Lunalas / Qwillas catch up. The tiebreak can theoretically be up to a 4-way tie.
  • If they lose by more than the Tinkatons or let another team catch up, they cannot make playoffs.
If the Tinkatons win the week:
  • They are in playoffs if the Frost Monkeys either lose / tie the week or win by any less amount.
  • If the Frost Monkeys win by more, either the InSomnia Giratinas or the Spectral Thieves would have to lose enough differential to let both teams at 4 points advance.
  • A tiebreak happens if the Tinkatons and Monkeys win by the same amount.
If the Tinkatons tie the week:
  • They will be in playoffs if the Frost Monkeys lose the week.
  • If the Frost Monkeys also tie the week, then it will be a tiebreak for third seed.
  • If the Frost Monkeys win the week, the Tinkatons are out.
If the Tinkatons lose the week:
  • They need the Frost Monkeys to also lose the week, and they need to win enough games to not allow the Lunalas or the Qwillas to catch up in differential.
  • A tiebreak happens if the Frost Monkeys lose by the same amount, or the Lunalas / Qwillas catch up. The tiebreak can theoretically be up to a 4-way tie.
  • If they lose by more than the Frost Monkeys or let another team catch up, they cannot make playoffs.
The 2 above teams are exactly the same, I just copy pasted and changed the names.

2 Points
If the Lunalas win the week:
  • The Qwillas must also win the week.
  • The Lunalas must win by enough so that the qwillas do not pass them while also passing the other teams at 4 points (10-4 win tiebreaks with the Frost Monkeys, any better guarantees they are passed. Therefore the qwillas must also win by 10-4 or better to force a tiebreak or a win by differential against the Tinkatons.)
If the Lunalas lose or tie the week:
  • They cannot make playoffs.
If the Qwillas win the week:
  • The Lunalas must also win the week.
  • The Qwillas must win by enough so that the Lunalas do not pass them while also passing the other teams at 4 points (12-2 win puts them ahead of the Tinkatons, but there is no scenario where this can let them tie/pass both the Frost Monkeys and the Lunalas. Therefore they must win 13-1 and hope the Lunalas win 10-4, forcing a 3 way tiebreak, or win 14-0 and hope for the same to pass both teams or tiebreak with Lunalas / Frost Monkeys given a 1 game difference in favour of either team from the previously mentioned record.)
If the Qwillas lose or tie the week:
  • They cannot make playoffs.
