I actually really liked the idea of this Chesto Resto set due to its possibility to actually work in the meta. I think that it's honestly worth testing as the current set is used as sort of a Bulky Offensive Phaser. With team support, it could probably put in some work!

+2 0 Atk Komala Knock Off vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Simisage: 153-181 (52.5 - 62.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Simisage handles both Pokémon effectively, despite being a fairly niche pick. Fightinium Z prevents a powerful Knock Off being launched at it, meaning it can consistently outheal Komala unboosted with Giga Drain and set up more efficiently than it with Nasty Plot (the better setup move in this instance), if Focus Blast is too inaccurate for you. All Out Pummeling is also nice to have for the turn after Komala uses a Protect so you know it can't be blocked. And Simisage just beats Stunfisk; even if you get 2 low rolls and Stunfisk uses Protect to put itself into 3HKO range and uses Yawn to put Simisage asleep, its damage output means it's a 4HKO anyway and Simisage can heal most of the damage off with Giga Drain. Overgrow is also a useful factor in both matchups since they're somewhat wars of attrition.

Combusken @ Eviolite
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Protect
- Sky Uppercut
- Flare Blitz

Our favorite ZU chicken can deal with both of these mons with the extra bulk from eviolite. If Komala BU's on the Switch Busken can just SD while tanking Knocks. Also due to Speed Boost and protect he can deal with Simisage even if he NP's on the switch, Z-Focus Blasts on the switch and even a +2 Z move through Protect wont do enough. Jolly Busken can then outspeed and bop with Flare Blitz. You lose 36% of your hp due to recoil so if you got hit by the Z-move you'll lose Combusken in the process however Fire Punch only does 92% minimum with a 50% to OHKO so that's also an option.

252 Atk Combusken Sky Uppercut vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Komala: 296-350 (88.6 - 104.7%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO

Calcs aren't needed for this one as it's self-explanatory. Mareanie walls Busken and uses Haze to reduce its boosts. It also walls Lampent because Lampent is only good in BW ZU.

EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 164 SpD/ 4 Spd
Impish Nature
- Play Rough
- Earthquake
- Heal Bell
- Toxic

Granbull can stomach anything Zweilous can throw at him and obliterates him with PR, while being able to 2HKO Maeranie with EQ while being able to Heal Bell off any unlucky status. Hes also able to restore HP with Z-Heal Bell. The evs are setup to outspeed Maereanie and 2HKO with EQ while the Spdef allows it to live 2 max roll Sludge Bombs when at least one of them poisons you. You can Z-heal after switching if you get poisoned to give you more of a fair fight. You are then able to live two max roll SB where one also poisons you and able to kill off the Urchin with 3% left after poison so Granbull comes out on top vs a 1 for 1 trade. Also if Maeranie gets a lucky scald burn you can HB it off.

Its been a week since the last post and we got brand new toys so I figured I'd go ahead and restart the thread!

Here are the pokemon to counter:

Poliwrath (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Scald
- Circle Throw
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Exeggutor @ Choice Specs
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Leaf Storm
- Psychic
- Hidden Power Fire
- Giga Drain

This is self-explanatory. Exeggutor completely counters Phys Def Poliwrath and easily OHKO's it.

SWOOBOI
Swoobat @ Mago Berry
Ability: Simple
EVs: 56 HP / 152 Spdef / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Substitute
- Stored Power
- roost
Swoobat has the ability to beat both of these pokemon under the right circumstances, however it does fear switching into a modest leaf storm. It resists both of Exeggutor's stabs and resists circle throw from poliwrath, only really feeling threatened by switching in and taking hazards or being circle thrown out. It has trouble with scald from poliwrath, but after a single CM boost it's able to sub up on it. It's speed tier is also quite good, outspeeding both of these mons with a timid nature. The mago berry allows it to switch into exeggutor and cm or sub on it to guarantee the ability to live another leafstorm of sub on the next one. I've provided a set which will always proc the mago berry and allow you to cm which immensely helps you when trying to switch into eggy. This set loses to a crit leaf storm though lol

252+ SpA Choice Specs Exeggutor Leaf Storm vs. 56 HP / 152 SpD Swoobat: 217-256 (75 - 88.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

-2 252+ SpA Choice Specs Exeggutor Leaf Storm vs. +2 56 HP / 152 SpD Swoobat: 54-64 (18.6 - 22.1%) -- possible 5HKO

0 SpA Poliwrath Scald vs. +2 56 HP / 152 SpD Swoobat: 42-51 (14.5 - 17.6%) -- possible 6HKO

Pawniard @ Dread Plate
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
- Swords Dance

This Swoobat is basically Set up fodder for young Pawniard. No way to stall it out and is just plained walled by Pawniard. Free Knock Off to even switch ins. Basically Pawniard beats swoobat 1v1
