thanks to everyone who voted for me so far.

my vote goes to Quasar because sheer force is terribly underrated and can be quite powerful

Let's see if we can turn this around - Thequasar

Also no one posted a glare set? I would've if not for inactivity on the forums, a parashuffler set looks pretty great.

Spiritomb @ Chesto Berry
Trait: Pressure
252 HP / 192 Def / 64 SpD
Impish Nature
-Foul Play
-Torment
-Will-O-Wisp
-Rest
This Spiritomb will your opponents rip their hair due to sheer rage. Foul Play is there because it's an awesome move and you dont have to invest in Attack while using it. WOW is just there for spreading burns. Now, here comes the fun part. Torment. (dramatic orchestra plays) Due to Tomb's wonderful typing and lovely immunties Torment seems to be made for Spiritomb. It also eases prediction to get another mon in. If your opponent has whittled Tomb down over the match and almost regained a little bit of hope WE HAVE REST. Along with Chesto Berry to give Tomb basically two attempts at annoying your opponents into oblivion.

Blizzard

@ NeverMeltIce

Spiritomb (M) @ BlackGlasses
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 192 HP / 252 Atk / 52 SAtk / 12 Spd
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
- Sucker Punch
- Pursuit
- Shadow Sneak

Spiritomb has always been known to struggle with steel types in general, and HP Fighting aims to remove all that. Spiritomb baits in Aggron, and proceeds to KO with a 4x super effective HP Fighting. 52 Special Attack EVs ensure that Aggron is OHKOed after SR. Other than that, it 3HKOes Klinklang, Steelix and Durant comfortably, also ensuring that these pokemon aren't able to put up substitutes. HP Fighting also 2HKOes Kabutops easily, so it puts immense pressure on the opponent to Rapid Spin. Its other moves take care of the other viable spinner, Cryogonal, thus reliably beating both spinners, a luxury very few pokemon are able to afford. Other than that, HP Fighting deals pitiful damage to Escavalier, so its good to have a mon that can take its ridiculously strong attacks, like Emboar, Qwilfish or Aggron. Aggron forms an ideal combo with Tomb and Qwilfish's intimidate ensures that Tomb can tank attacks much easily. It also absorbs Toxic Spikes, ensuring that Tomb and the rest of the party are around for much longer.

The EV spread is pretty simple. 52 Sp. Attack EVs for doing enough damage to steels (as shown below in the calcs), 252 Attack EVs to maximise attack and ensuring Tomb does what it does best, 12 Speed EVs to outspeed uninvested base 30 Speed mons with Brave nature, rest dumped into HP for maximising bulk. Leftovers is an option over BlackGlasses but isn't recommended since Spiritomb needs to remove psychic types (Slowking!) and needs to hit as hard as possible with the rest of the moves.

Since this Spiritomb is supposed to be a lure, Pokemon who greatly benefit from weakened steel types' or their absence are ideal teammates for it. Aggron, Klinklang, Leaf storm Sceptile, Sigilyph, Druddigon, Rhydon, Fighting types and Normal types, to name a few are some really good partners.

Credit goes to Slory for the EV spread (insert Mibbit smilies here please, coz they're the best).

Calculations against opposing pokemon:

52 SpA Spiritomb Hidden Power Fighting vs. 100 HP / 0 SpD Klinklang: 114-136 (39.86 - 47.55%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth

Rock
52 SpA Spiritomb Hidden Power Fighting vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Durant: 89-105 (34.49 - 40.69%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock

52 SpA Spiritomb Hidden Power Fighting vs. 252 HP / 36 SpD Steelix: 136-160 (38.41 - 45.19%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock

52 SpA Spiritomb Hidden Power Fighting vs. 212 HP / 0 SpD Eviolite Magneton: 90-106 (30.61 - 36.05%) -- 98.93% chance to 3HKO

after Stealth Rock

52 SpA Spiritomb Hidden Power Fighting vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Magneton: 134-158 (55.37 - 65.28%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

52 SpA Spiritomb Hidden Power Fighting vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Kabutops: 134-158 (51.14 - 60.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

Spiritomb @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SAtk / 8 SDef
Quiet Nature
IVs: 30 Def / 30 SAtk / 30 SDef / 2 Spd / 2 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power Fighting or Hidden Power Fire

This a bulky sweeper Spiritomb dedicated for Trick Room teams with Nasty Plot paired with a solid STAB and coverave moves: Dark Pulse and Shadow Ball hits all except steel types; for this problem is added Hidden Power Fighting to hit neutral at least against everything steel type and against another Dark types such Mightyena :}. Hidden Power Fire is another option since hits harder common steel types such Escavalier and Durant while is walled by Aggron and Probopass, the last is very uncommon w/e

B) (Spiritomb) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Trick
- Dark Pulse
- Foul Play
- Hidden Power [Grass]

  • Makes Kabutops mad ( outspeeds and ohkos)
  • Tricks defensive Cryo, stopping it from spinning
  • Outspeeds Adamant Gallade and OHKOs with Foul Play
  • Beats Sandslash (not a huge accomplishment but still cool)
  • B)
  • If Scarf isn't needed it can trick it away to cripple something trying to set up/a defensive pokemon.

Silvershadow doesn't want to post for whatever reason, but voting is starting. Scorpedestroyer is taking this over now.
There are 5 sets and they're the 5 posts above this, so no need to link. Go.
