NU Paldean Tauros

Tauros-Paldea-Combat @ Lum Berry
Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Bulk Up
- Close Combat
- Tera Blast
- Trailblaze

Paldean Tauros is ready for the rodeo in NU! Bulk Up makes it a strong and bulky sweeper that threatens much of the tier with its powerful Close Combat. Tera Electric Tera Blast hits common Fighting-resistant foes like Qwilfish, Drifblim, and Scyther super effectively. Trailblaze makes it very difficult to revenge kill, as most of NU's Choice Scarf users can't outspeed it after a Trailblaze. Lum Berry lets Paldean Tauros shrug off Will-O-Wisp from Rotom and Drifblim, potentially 2HKOing or OHKOing them at +1, respectively. Paldean Tauros fits well on offensive teams looking for a potent wincon. Although it has good physical bulk with Intimidate and Bulk Up, its special bulk is mediocre. Therefore, a special wall such as Muk may make for a good partner. Phazers like Eelektross and Dudunsparce can spread entry hazard damage to help Paldean Tauros achieve a sweep. These phazers also invite in Rotom, which is very crucial to wear down, as it walls Paldean Tauros quite effectively before setup.

Paldean Tauros is ready for the rodeo in NU! Bulk Up turns Paldean Tauros into a strong and bulky physical sweeper that threatens much of the tier with its powerful Close Combat. Tera Electric Tera Blast has good synergy with Tauro's Fighting STAB, enabling it to hit Flying-types such as Braviary hitting common Fighting resists like Qwilfish changed this to better reflect the meta, Qwilfish is the best Fighting-type check next to Drifblim and Braviary takes neutral damage from CC anyway, Drifblim, and Scyther super effectively. Trailblaze raises Tauro's Speed, making it very difficult to revenge kill, as most of NU's Choice Scarf users are slower than it after a Trailblaze. Lum Berry enables Paldean Tauros to shrug off Will-O-Wisp from Rotom and Drifblim. Paldean Tauros fits well on offensive teams looking for a potent win condition. While Paldean Tauros has good physical bulk that is further augmented by Intimidate and Bulk Up, its special bulk is mediocre. As such, a special wall such as Muk or Copperajah more examples is better! may make for a good partner. Paldean Tauros also appreciates entry hazard support from the likes of Copperajah and Lycanroc to wear down checks such as Rotom. while this is true it applies to literally every Pokemon and Rotom hardly minds SR given it walls Tauros regardless. Phasers like Dragon Tail Eelektross and Dudunsparce and Whirlwind Copperajah can force hazard damage on an opposing team to help Paldean Tauros achieve a sweep. All of these phasers also invite in Rotom, who is very crucial to wear down as it walls Paldean Tauros quite effectively.
I'm sorry for the wait! Life is hard :psywoke:

Hi hi, I noticed a typo while translating the spotlight:

Phazers like Eelektross and Dudunsparce can spread entry hazard damage to help Paldean Tauros achieve a sweep. These phasers also invite in Rotom, which is very crucial to wear down, as it walls Paldean Tauros quite effectively before setup.
