Update 02/28/21: First Gen 4 RNGs, Poké Transporter Shinies, and More!​

Another big update! A major goal of mine for this year was to expand my knowledge of RNG mechanics, and in that spirit I learned TID RNG in Gen 4 and managed to get some square shiny stationaries (including Darkrai and Shaymin, which I broke my "no injected wondercards" rule for), and used a Mimic glitched Ditto to breed some shinies in Gen 2.

I also wanted to give a big shoutout to The Chaotician for trading me an amazing Glastrier and Kubfu for use in my ranked teams this season! Thanks for helping me to move up the ladder and improve at competitive play :)

Update 04/09/21: All 28 Shiny Unown, 6 IV Cave of Origin Groudon, and More!​

Finished RNGing most things I wanted from Gen 4, including every letter of Unown and a few purple mons in Master Ball that I like. Also battled the crazy inconsistent delay in the Cave of Origin in Gen 6 to get a pretty nice Groudon, returned to the dreaded Ultra Wormholes to get some mons for my ranked team, and continued to make progress on finishing up breeding shiny mons in Gen 8.

I also upgraded my Switch-Up to a Teensy 2.0, which opens up some fun possibilities for when I’m finally done with shiny breeding.

Update 05/30/21: Cave of Origin Shiny Kyogre, Wormhole Legends, and Shiny Bred Pokémon​

It's been a little while since my last update! Back in April I RNG'd a Cave of Origin Kyogre to match my Groudon (took 184 attempts!), RNG'd a few fun things I might use in VGC like Registeel and Pheromosa, and continued breeding all the shiny Galar mons in matching balls (plus a Totodile back in VC Gold for nostalgia's sake). The next update should have the rest of the bred shinies I want to do in Gen 8, capping off a year-long project that I am VERY excited to be finished with. After that, I'll probably do a couple Raid Den RNGs and finally get around to learning XD RNG and starting my first Ribbon Master!

Update 08/08/2021: First Gen 3 RNGs, Dynamax Adventures Shinies, and more!​

I had hoped this update would include my final Gen 8 bred shinies, but unfortunately I still have 6 more to do because my breeding luck has been atrocious lately :( But, my luck with Dynamax Adventures has been very good! Shiny Zygarde after 66 attempts, shiny Necrozma after just 18.

I also learned Gen 3 RNG, and RNG'd a Gastly in FireRed to replace the first wild-caught shiny I ever got...that I released because I thought my game had glitched out. He'll probably be made into a Ribbon Master at some point.

A few other cool things like Pokémon Go shiny Mew and some new shiny Larvestas for Series 10 of VGC. Hopefully the next thread update will mark the end of my 14-month long SWSH shiny-breeding journey, and I can launch the big giveaway I've wanted to do for a while.

Update 09/03/2021: Oh God why are there so many Vivillon patterns (also giveaway!)​

I finally completed my Galar shiny breeding project, which means my giveaway featuring all the semi-flawless rejects is now live! Check it out here if you'd like some free uncloned shinies!

In other news, I finished breeding all 18 breedable Vivillon patterns, which meant playing through the first island of Ultra Sun 18 times. If anyone ever wants a flawless Scatterbug egg of a specific pattern to TSV hatch with your OT, feel free to ask because I have saves backed up for all of them and no one else should have to listen to Hau tell you how to use the Roto Lotto that many times.

Also did a couple Raid Den RNGs, learned Friend Safari RNG to get yet another Vivillon, and got a pretty nice Zacian from Pokémon Go (since I don't have Sword to SR one). Full updates below, check out the giveaway!

I finally got my Shiny Mew from Japanese Emerald, and reaped the bounties of the recent Alolan starter promo dens, but the bulk of this update comes from the 6 playthroughs I’ve done so far of Colosseum. My original goal was just to RNG a few mons to make ribbon masters out of, but that soon blossomed into “why don’t I just RNG everything so I never have to play this game again?”.

I still have 4 more playthoughs to do in order to finish up the Shadow Locked Pokémon, but those should hopefully go a lot quicker since I don’t need to play through the entire game to get some of them (and have way less Pokémon to RNG). Once those are done I'll do some RNGs in XD, and then start on my first ribbon masters!
