Sylveon distinguishes itself as a physical wall with relevant Fighting and Dark resistances and a Dragon immunity, which let it punish attackers like Mienshao, Sirfetch'd, and Flygon when they are Choice locked into their STAB attacks. Sylveon also has enough natural special bulk to prevent Rotom-C and Life Orb Starmie from breaking through it. Comparatively, other Fairy-types like Comfey lack Sylveon's combination of Wish and Heal Bell. Wish support is relevant, as many Pokemon that form good defensive cores with Sylveon, like Bronzong and Guzzlord, lack reliable recovery themselves. However, because it has to choose between Heal Bell and Mystical Fire, Sylveon will struggle against either walls that carry Toxic like Arcanine and Gastrodon or Steel-types like Copperajah and Escavalier. Sylveon's passivity and reliance on Protect to secure its recovery can also let in wallbreakers and setup sweepers like Salazzle, Exploud, and Blastoise. Even physical wallbreakers like Life Orb Mienshao, Tyrantrum, and Choice Band Guzzlord can carry strong coverage for Sylveon, making it ineffective if they have a setup opportunity or predict it switching in.

Moonblast is usually preferred over Hyper Voice with Pixilate, as it allows Sylveon to check Throat Chop Flygon. Otherwise, Hyper Voice is noticeably stronger, always 3HKOes Assault Vest Goodra and Mudsdale, and likely 3HKOes Dragalge after Stealth Rock. Protect makes Wish a reliable recovery move and scouts Choice-locked wallbreakers like Tyrantrum and Exploud. Heal Bell allows Sylveon to preform as a cleric and remove Toxic poison. If a cleric is less desirable for the team, Mystical Fires offers coverage against targets like Vileplume and Escavalier. Leftovers provides passive recovery and pairs well with Protect, but Heavy-Duty Boots can be considered so Sylveon has a better defense against Spikes and Toxic Spikes.

Wish support works great with specially defensive Steel-types like Copperajah, Bronzong, and Escavalier, as they lack their own recovery and have valuable resistances for Sylveon to rely on. Other walls that lack recovery like Mudsdale and Guzzlord enjoy the support as well, and they help cover Sylveon's vulnerabilities to attackers like Tyrantrum and Salazzle, respectively. Offensive Ground-type teammates like Flygon and Golurk target the Steel- and Poison-types that give Sylveon trouble. Arcanine and Talonflame are also valuable for checking Steel-types, and they spread Toxic against other walls like Mantine, which Sylveon will then be able to outstall. Psychic-types like Cresselia and Starmie pressure the Poison-types that Sylveon struggles with and function alongside Sylveon as a sufficient countermeasure against Fighting-types.

A Choice Specs set takes advantage of Sylveon's Fairy- and Fire-type coverage and works best as a lure to Pokemon that aren't prepared for the extra power like Vileplume and Salazzle. Calm Mind is an option for Sylveon to function as a defensive sweeper.

Checks and Counters
====

**Poison-types**: Sylveon has little to deter Salazzle, which can use its resistances to set up Nasty Plot against Sylveon. Other Poison-types like Dragalge, Drapion, and Roserade also hit it hard but have limited opportunities to switch in.

**Steel-types**: Even with Mystical Fire, specially defensive Steel-types like Copperajah and Bronzong switch into Sylveon and scare it out with Heavy Slam; without Mystical Fire, Escavalier is another major concern.

**Wallbreakers**: Some of the strongest wallbreakers like Tyrantrum, Exploud, and Golurk are able to break down Sylveon. However, as they are often Choice locked, Protect can mitigate this problem if Sylveon still has relevant defensive teammates around.

**Setup Sweepers**: Sylveon's passivity may let sweepers like Cresselia, Decidueye, and Blastoise set up on it. Other sweepers like Swords Dance Mienshao and Sirfetch'd are able to KO Sylveon if they have a window to set up against teammates.

[Overview]
Sylveon distinguishes itself as a physical wall with relevant Fighting and Dark resistances and valuable utility in Wish and Heal Bell. It often punishes attackers like Mienshao, Pangoro, and Flygon when they are Choiced-locked into their STAB attacks by threatening back with Moonblast or Hyper Voice. Wish support is relevant as many Pokemon that form good defensive cores with Sylveon, like Bronzong and Guzzlord, lack reliable recovery themselves. Sylveon also has enough natural special bulk to prevent Rotom-M and Life Orb Starmie from breaking through it. However, because it does have to choose between Heal Bell or Mystical Fire, Sylveon will struggle against either walls that cary Toxic like Arcanine and Gastrodon, or Steel-types which would find safe switch ins against it like Copperjah and Escavalier. Sylveon's passivity and reliance on Protect to secure its recovery can also let in wallbreakers or setup sweepers like Salazzle, Exploud, and Blastoise. Even physical wallbreakers like Bewear, Tyrantrum, and Pangoro cary strong coverage for Sylveon, meaning that it's bulk is ineffective if they have a setup opportunity or predict it switching in.

the cons part is good, but the pros part feels like a lot of sentences that don't flow particularly well between one another. I think you could just combine the sentences about Sylveon's resistances with the one about it handling those certain Choice-locked attackers; I'd then move your mention of Sylveon's special bulk being good to come after this sentence. this reorganization would look like:

- good physical bulk + resistances/immunities let Sylveon switch into and threaten x, y, and z
- also has good special bulk, letting it handle x, y, and z
- synergizes great with other defensive Pokemon like x, y, and z, with Wish augmenting this synergy further

For a STAB attack, Moonblast is usually preferred over Hyper Voice with Pixilate as it allows Sylveon to check Throat Chop Flygon. Otherwise, Hyper Voice is noticeably stronger and nets a guaranteed 3HKO against Assault Vest Goodra, while Moonblast offers a secondary effect that can weaken wallbreakers like Exploud. Heal Bell allows Sylveon to preform as a cleric and heal from Toxic. If a cleric is less desirable for the team, Mystical Fires offers crucial coverage against targets like Vileplume and Escavalier. Leftovers provides passive recovery and pairs well with Protect, but Heavy-Duty Boots can be considered so Sylveon has a better defense against Spikes and Toxic Spikes.

Slyveon's Wish support works great with specially defensive Steel-types like Copperajah, Bronzong, and Escavalier, as they lack their own recovery and have valuable resistances for Sylveon to rely on. Other walls that lack recovery like Mudsdale and Guzzlord enjoy the support as well, and help cover Sylveon's vulnerabilities to attackers like Tyrantrum and Salazzle, respectively. Use Protect to scout wallbreakers like Choice Band Pangoro and Choice Specs Exploud; if they lock into strong coverage for it, then Sylveon will have to switch out into a teammate like Gastrodon or Bronzong.(at this point I'd just give Protect a sentence in the previous paragraph; talk about how it lets Sylveon scout strong wallbreakers like Tyrantrum and Exploud and turns Wish into a reliable form of recovery) Offensive Ground-type teammates like Flygon and Golurk target the Steel- and Poison-types that give Sylveon trouble. Arcanine and Charizard are also valuable for checking Steel-types as well as prevent Bewear from wallbreaking, and can also spread Toxic against other walls like Mantine which Sylveon will then be able to outstall.

Toxic synergies with Wish and Protect to allow Sylveon to wear down opposing walls, but it's much less effective than Hell Bell or Mystical Fire.(I have never seen Toxic Sylveon before, and on paper it does not sound very good at all) A Choice Specs set takes advantage of Sylveon's Fairy / Fire coverage, although it works best as a lure and is unreliable compared to stronger special wallbreakers. (give mention to Calm Mind sets; they're essentially Cresselia without Levitate but better coverage and offensive presence overall)

Small nitpick but you can write 1 sentence of why one might choose Sylveon over Comfey, also a fairy type that is used to tackle the same targets. It distinguishes itself, yes, but i'd like to from which mons.

"and nets a guaranteed 3HKO against Assault Vest Goodra, while Moonblast offers a secondary effect that can weaken wallbreakers like Exploud" find more examples; hypervoice is a 3hko on muds, moonblast 4hko

"Arcanine and Charizard are also valuable for checking Steel-types, and additionally spread Toxic against other walls like Mantine which Sylveon will then be able to outstall." replace charizard with talonflame. you can also say that sylveon + talon/rk9 form a solid physdef core.

Psychic types deal with poison types and also form a sturdy core with sylveon to check fighting types.

From tests, specs sylveon is actually quite good. You don't have to write a full set but it should be written more positively.
