This is very much so a WIP. I really wanna make this as complete as possible so hmu on disc if you feel like something relevant is missing or, (god forbid) I made a mistake. Tried to make this as concise as possible and taking in most of what Ive read through forums, cord and room. Theres stuff like Jolteon thats arguably not very viable but that I still included due to discussion, but in equal measures Im sure I missed the "very potent Special Flareon set that got me to top 1 on the ladder". I also abstained from including certain playstyles such as Rain and TR since I personally havent seen them much at all in contrast to Sun and Hail which either got recent Kickoff usage or I saw through Ladder Tour reqs. Later on Imma add individual checks to types like in the linked Role Compendium at the top of this thread, but for now this felt alright enough for posting, but yea hmu if anything!! Hope this is okie dokie :pleadingface:

Munkidori learns U-Turn though it isn't listed under that role, which I'd argue is more useful on it than Parting Shot since it can activate Toxic Chain with it. Two other Pokemon that are not listed under roles they fulfill that come immediately to mind are adding Milotic as a Dragon Tail user, and Avalugg as a Rapid Spinner.

This is a good example of something confusing to me: Why do we mark Pokemon as able to fulfill a role when they don't tend to fulfill said role? Hoopa's not the problem here, it's Enamorus. While I'm not saying an Enam can't TECHNICALLY use its physical attack (115 base Atk with STAB Play Rough), I am asking when it's viable to be run over a SpA-focused set. If we were going to add everything that technically could do things to some success, I present Shift Gear Cyclizar to the jury, or Teleport Gardevoir/Gallade. I don't want that, I'd rather some things be pruned down to actual users.

Also, could we have categories like walls added? I see nary a Hippo in this post and it is making me sad.

fair points on both munkidori and milotic, I forgot some of them so its nice to get a reminder

Avalugg is not rly viable on RU right now, so thats why its not on this, id have slotted it in Iron defense if anything as well

Enamorus has some potential to use some physical coverage if necessary, so thats why its mentioned on there(its not on Physical for a reason)
