I've come up with something that is simple but effective:
:Iron Boulder:
Iron Boulder @ Booster Energy
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Ice
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Tera Blast
- Mighty Cleave
- Earthquake
Yes. Tera Blast Ice Boulder. I know it's dropped to UU now, but if you manage to set up it can be effective as a cleaner for Hyper Offence. Gliscor is one of its best checks thanks to damage calcs like these:
252 Atk Iron Boulder Mighty Cleave vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Gliscor: 121-144 (34.1 - 40.6%) -- 99.9% chance to 4HKO after Poison
0 Atk Gliscor Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Iron Boulder: 248-294 (77.2 - 91.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252 Atk Quark Drive Iron Boulder Mighty Cleave vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Gliscor: 313-370 (88.4 - 104.5%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO
Which means that gliscor is almost always a guaranteed switch into Iron Boulder. Which we will prey on today. The thing about this is that since Boulder 2HKOes Gliscor at +2 with Mighty Cleave that bypasses protect, it is really not worth it for the opponent to click Protect predicting a weird shenanigan. This means that you can go for tera blast tera ice basically for free. Another option is to mighty cleave first since they don't KO you with EQ if you haven't been chipped and then go for tera blast ice after you lure them into a false sense of security. Here's a damage calc:
252 Atk Tera Ice Iron Boulder Tera Blast (80 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Gliscor: 304-364 (85.8 - 102.8%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO So you don’t actually OHKO the standard set. Gliscor will be switching in on you anyway, since on HO you'll be sending out Boulder on something that it forces out. This gives a free SD, and then you proceed to obliterate Gliscor which can allow another of your teammates to sweep later. Another option is Adamant as that allows you to have a higher chance to OHKO, but that’s a bit wack. However, the set that is in the post actually does get OHKOed:
252 Atk Tera Ice Iron Boulder Tera Blast (80 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Gliscor: 408-484 (115.2 - 136.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
This is amazing since that means the set the post talks about gets fully lured, let’s go! (Also why is it 252 HP and not 244 I’m confused.)

Blissey (F) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Natural Cure
Tera Type: Ice
EVs: 4 HP / 104 Def / 148 SpA / 252 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Ice Beam
- Calm Mind
- Soft-Boiled
- Stealth Rock

This one isn't that deep. Normally Gliscor switches in freely on Blissey no matter the set, and forces a switch from Blissey as it has no real ways to hurt Gliscor. Now, instead of Seismic Toss, Tera Ice Beam is ran to lure Gliscor and OHKO it. This set doesn't take away much from Blissey's role, while also giving it a way to surprise Gliscor.

148+ SpA Tera Ice Blissey Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 232+ SpD Gliscor: 360-424 (101.6 - 119.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

This one isn't that deep. Normally Gliscor switches in freely on Blissey no matter the set, and forces a switch from Blissey as it has no real ways to hurt Gliscor. Now, instead of Seismic Toss, Ice Beam is ran to kill Gliscor after rocks, and is a roll to OHKO it. In my opinion, running ice tera is risky since Gliscor can always protect, meaning you waste your tera. This set doesn't take away much from Blissey's role, while also giving it a way to surprise Gliscor.

Shouldn't need any calcs for this lol
Am I stupid? Or does this not work?
80+ SpA Blissey Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 232+ SpD Gliscor: 220-260 (62.1 - 73.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Poison Heal.
Anyway, this doesn't even kill anyway when Gliscor protects then Teras Fairy. What do you do then?
80+ SpA Blissey Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 232+ SpD Tera Fairy Gliscor: 55-65 (15.5 - 18.3%) -- possibly the worst move ever
0 Atk Tera Fairy Gliscor Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Tera Flying Blissey: 280-330 (39.2 - 46.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
0 Atk Tera Fairy Gliscor Knock Off vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Tera Flying Blissey: 188-222 (26.3 - 31%) -- guaranteed 4HKO
Gliscor just needs to watch out for CM stonks, but it shouldn't be able to get to +6, which is needed lol.

I think the idea is probably to Calm Mind on the switch, and then at +1 you get the roll to OHKO. Still a bit unreliable but not absurd

Possibly you chip Gliscor first, then use ice beam. It's also a guaranteed OHKO if you go the ADV OU route and use max sp. atk modest Blissey, which worked for ADV OU.

ah my bad I ran a different spread on glisc in my calcs lol. I changed the tera on bliss to tera ice now so its fine
148+ SpA Tera Ice Blissey Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 232+ SpD Gliscor: 360-424 (101.6 - 119.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
sorry for the confusion

Modest Max Sp. Atk Bliss OHKOes without Tera. It's still really bulky too.

Does it?

252+ SpA Blissey Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 232+ SpD Gliscor: 268-316 (75.7 - 89.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Poison Heal
Hang on lol my calc was with the 244 HP/16 SpD spread.
252+ SpA Blissey Ice Beam vs. 244 HP / 16 SpD Gliscor: 372-440 (105.6 - 125%) -- guaranteed OHKO
IDK which one is more common. Maybe still tera ice then.
The contest is for the 252 HP/232+ SpD spread. That's the one you have to take account of. Although specially defensive gliscor is less common, that doesn't matter in this case. So the blissey has to tera ice in order to OHKO gliscor.
Okay then my bad I’m dumb and just assumed the post’s gliscor was the standard set in the damage calculator. Let’s move on now. Thanks for correcting me too. I now know to check the specific set. I need to change my damage calcs now too.
