dark: https://pokepast.es/1338bcd6137a2f2a
description:
hydreigon makes sure to keep rocks up vs flying as corvi doesnt deal well vs flamethrower and also eject pack is great for pressure, in most cases its either a kill or a switch in and if they switch u get the eject pack up to keep the pressure. the rest of the set is for steel mostly
chien-pao is standard
kingambit outspeed corvi and creepers, hp is lefties+1 which is the best lefties number, set is standard the spread is perfect
meowscarada has boots for longevity vs ground and act as hazard spammer/pressure guy with uturn
sableye is standard, i like low kick to farm chien-pao and kingambit, i think its needed if u dont run muk-alola with dpunch
greninja speed hits 365 which is higher than scarf valiant, 88 def makes sure dnite espeed cant kill at +2, low kick is good and gunk shot is nice, spa is enough to kill enamorus at min roll

ghost: https://pokepast.es/65cc5354f3d14ce4
description:
spectrier has enough def so jolly barra liquidation and scarf tusk headlong rush cant OHKO, rest is standard
flutter mane is pretty standard
skeledirge hits 200 speed, enough to outspeed 199 speed mons and will o wisp em, earth power is there for heatran and whatnot
dragapult is there to cripple and pivot with uturn
gholdengo speed hits 230 which is enough to outspeed modest specs pelipper and whatnot, this set mostly beats poison and fairy, nasty plot and recover with bulk is something very hard to deal with
mimikyu is standard, its there as a panic button as disguise is pretty good and can easily take a kill or it can clean up late game

psychic: https://pokepast.es/bd8a8078249c7cb2
description:
hatt is pretty standard, outspeed pex and creeper and does hatt things
hoopa-unbound is the speed control, vs ghost it can just click 1 move
scream tail setup things and be very annoying along the way
armarouge is pretty standard
espathra is also standard
indeedee is the terrain setter+hwish support, nothing else matters really

For the first time in a blue moon will I be sending a wave of sample teams! Enjoy beloveds!<33

Normal: https://pokepast.es/2ea82d07c33cf6e4

This is about as balanced as normal can truly be right now. Chansey does what she always is supposed to do and thats being a special defensive wall against some of Monotype's most serious special attacking threats. It can even hold its own against Iron Valiant given if it's special attacking. Braviary is designed for some bulk and to be able to easily switch in to defog, u-turn out, and have a good stab of brave bird. Zoroark-Hisui should almost always be used on normal to assist against fighting with its Normal/Ghost dual typing. Will-o-Wisp assists in crippling opposing attackers, and knock-off assists in removing pesky boots. Hex assists in not only being STAB but doubling in power with the usage of Will-o-Wisp. Ursaluna is the bulky yet powerful hitter given status moves/ toxic spikes being tossed around the entirety of the tier. And finally, Meloetta is to assist in the fighting type match-up while also being another bulky special defensive sponge.

Steel: https://pokepast.es/026defeef1f7cac5

This steel team is built around metal coat scizor. Double specially defensive Pokemon to assist in some match-ups; Iron Treads is your basic spinner that assists also in being a good specially defensive sponge. Along with heatran which is honestly the best fire answer that steel can truly check; these two work the best alongside each other. You may opt to run choice scarf on Treads but I have found the specially defensive set to be fun. Gholdengo is your basic air balloon set with a nasty plot to boost its hard-hitting special attack along with dual stab and fighting-type coverage with focus blast. Kingambit is the second star of the show; the 156 speed actually helps in catching opposing Kingambits off-guard, I chose to run low kick > iron head to win the mirror match-up against other opposing Kingambits. Black glasses actually help in boosting its Dark-type moves on top of supreme overlord boosting its atk stat along with swords dance. Scizor is the beauty of the team. With trailblaze and close combat; Scizor can actually hold its own against a variety of types. Metal Coat + Swords dance + Bullet punch can actually be a late-game clean-up given the technician boost to its low base power bullet punch.

Dark: https://pokepast.es/cbf58c8b3227b8bf

Now I know this type of build has been made many many times but it's actually one of the most fun archetypes of dark that I have truly found to win me multiple games. Hazard stack dark plus running Sableye to not only taunt defog users but to be a staple as a rapid spin blocker with its ghost typing can actually win most of the match-ups against dark's least favorable types. Meowscarada + Ting-Lu provides a triple hazard stack with Toxic-Spikes, Spikes, and Stealth Rock. Flower Trick is the perfect STAB to run against Water and Ground types, U-turn for a pivot. You can opt to use knock-off> Spikes but that is up to preference. I chose to run heavy slam on Ting-Lu to assist more in the match-up against fairy-given Enamorus and Hatterene. Chien-Pao is your basic set with Psychic Fangs to remove Screens/ Aurora Veil, You can run ice shard > crunch for not only STAB but priority. Hydreigon having nasty plot + substitute is actually a great set for it unless you opt to run Scarf. The Kingambit Set is the same as the previous but with a higher speed to catch other opposing Kingambit off-guard.

Have a Grass Team to submit :

https://pokepast.es/a7c52d321ff92554

I wanted to try a Grass-Type HO, because the type has some good Attacker in Lilligant-H, Zarude, Rotom-Mow, ... Sadly the Bug and Fire match'up are unwinnable, volcarona is unkillable, and moth / loxik can revenge kill all of ur team, except sub rotom. Poison match'up is also very difficult, as ur only win condition for this mu is iron leaves, but it can be revenge killed by moth, or a scarf gengar / Glimm if they don't click a poison attack.

:toedscruel: Like i was playing HO, i decided to start with my suicide lead. The only good suicide lead (for me) is toedscruel. The set is p basic, Spikes, earth power for stab, koff and rapid spin.

:lilligant-hisui: i continued with Lilligant-hisui, the best grass setup sweeper that can sweep very easily you do sleep powder then setup, just pray to not miss ! The ste is basic, Victory dance to setup, close combat is its stab and ice spinner helps for the flying match'up. Sleep powder helps setup. The wide lens helps you hitting ur attacks.

:zarude: Zarude is another very good grass sweeper, you just Sd then trailblaze, and u can potentially finish the game. I also chose it for the ghost match'up, to have a shadow ball switch'in. Pretty classic sd set. I chose power whip for the stab. Close combat to hit steel and dark-types, and trailblaze to raise ur speed to help u clean.

:rotom-mow: i chose rotom to have a special attacker, and have a potential flying counter. I prefered the sub np set, because it fits more in ho and is very destructive. I really love this set ! When u have a sub, you can easily use np to boost ur attacks, then sweep the opponent, that can't rk u because ur under sub. Sub and np for setup, and the 2 stabs.

:iron leaves: My poison mu was really unwinnable, so i decided to add Iron leaves, with a special set to help our team against mono-poison. This is a classic sd set, but with the kebia berry to resist one poison attack, that helps you sweep the opponent's mono-poison. Leaf blade and psyblade in stab (psyblade is rly useful against poison), and close combat for steel and dark-types.

:meowscarada: i just had one pokemon to add, but i didn't know which pokemon add. Finally i decided to add scarf meow to add speed control to my team, and it also helps against dragon, ghost, psychic, dark, ... The set is a classic scarf set, flower trick ad koff are its stab, and play rough help it revenge kill dragon and dark types. Uturn to pivot.

Dead by Daylight

is a Pre-Contributor
Grass Offense

This team utilizes the core of Hisuian Lilligant + Iron Leaves + Meowscarada on offense (supported by Rillaboom’s terrain) while having good speed control in Meowscarada and Hisuian Electrode alongside a good defensive fail-safe in Amoonguss.

:lilligant-Hisui: Hisuian Lilligant functions as the cleaner and sweeper of the team. While I prefer Life Orb for the extra power, Wide Lens is probably the better item. After one Victory Dance, Hisuian Lilligant can sweep entire teams with its STABs and Ice Spinner.

:iron leaves: Iron Leaves is a good wallbreaker against slower teams such as Poison and Steel. Choice Band augments its power to quite high levels. Wild Charge hits Flying-types such as Corviknight hard, while Close Combat bashes in Steel-types not named Gholdengo.

:Meowscarada: This needs no explanation. Meowscarada is a good offensive option and is good speed control. It also clears Gholdengo, which is a big roadblock for both Hisuian Lilligant and Iron Leaves.

:electrode-Hisui: Hisuian Electrode helps in the Flying matchup, while Volt Switch lets it keep momentum against faster-paced teams. It can recover Life Orb damage through Grassy Terrain, and Chloroblast functions as a one-time nuke to keep momentum and deal tons of damage. I’m not sure of the best ability, but I find all of them to have their uses: Soundproof lets it switch in on Skeledirge’s Torch Song, Static can save games against things like Dragonite, and Aftermath is niche but useful to hurt things like Corviknight if it KOs Hisuian Electrode with Iron Head.

:Amoonguss: This is also rather self-explanatory. Amoonguss is the premier defensive wall this generation for Grass, and this is the standard set.

:rillaboom: Rillaboom, despite losing Grassy Glide, still is a decent choice for Grass teams. Setting Grassy Terrain lets the wall breakers of the team break more effectively while also offsetting Life Orb recoil. Additionally, Amoonguss appreciates not being worn down by Earthquakes as easily.

I don't have enough time to write these descriptions out but you can dm me on discord if you have questions, but I thought these teams would be cool to share since they're very good from a beginner's POV. These teams have all been used in MPL.

Overqwil bulky Poison
:muk-alola: :amoonguss: :toxapex: :glimmora: :salazzle: :overqwil:
https://pokepast.es/f7c5ad34728b026b
Pretty standard stall-ish Poison. Easy to pilot and wins out against a lot of things. Overqwil is good for Baxcalibur and Chien-Pao.

Specs Gengar balanced Poison
:gengar: :muk-alola: :amoonguss: :toxapex: :glimmora: :salazzle:
https://pokepast.es/f03e4fe7818dad30
Gengar is a really good breaker that can OHKO Landorus from the get-go. Choice Specs Shadow Ball is super strong and Trick/Dazzling Gleam/Icy Wind all apply immense pressure immediately. Harder to pilot compared to the other Poison but is also played differently with being slightly more offensive.

Stealth Rock Hydreigon Dark
:hydreigon: :kingambit: :sableye: :muk-alola: :meowscarada: :chien-pao:
https://pokepast.es/3f01b01add65f80b
Pretty cool alternative to the Ting-Lu hazard stack that's up right now. Hydreigon keeps Stealth Rock up vs Corviknight, has a lot of good resists, and is generally a really good Pokemon. Alolan Muk doesn't die.

Enjoy!

Ice has lost 3 solid checks for significant threats (G-Darm, Arctozolt, Mamoswine), gained practically nothing from HOME unlike its worst Matchups, and has no viable way to set rocks leaving little choice to get anything done in a timely manner,
the biggest little choice is Hyper Offensive Ice.

:chien-pao: Chien-Pao is Atlas, below is an abyss deeper than ORAS, please ban Dark-type instead. Mega-Weavile has insane offence and serves as a potent revenge killer with an excellent Dark STAB (somewhat notably, throat chop extinguishes Skeledirge), and an even better type coverage with Sacred Sword and Psychic Fangs. It often forces switches reliably enough to get off a swords dance, after which something dies, or the game ends. Chien-Pao also has access to STAB priority to keep up the carnage, Sucker Punch is super good here. 4 moveslot syndrome. Heavy-Duty Boots fit best, allowing tib-fib protection and thus more stabs at the dancefloor, though an argument can be made for Life Orb securing more OHKO's, or even Band if you don't feel like killing everything.

:baxcalibur: Baxcalibur is Kyurem-B for the modern age, packing a non-committal Outrage; freight train, wall-breaking attack; and enough natural bulk to lash back at the likes of Heatran, Kingambit, unboosted Scizor and Valiant, lead Tinkaton, weak-armor boosted Ceruledge, and even the other one. Banded Ice Shard kills handily and first, Icicle Spear kills through sub and sash, EQ. Baxcalibur's dance moves aren't as impactful as Pao.

:avalugg: Furthering Baxcalibur's bulk, Avalugg allows most all sacrifices to go to specially attacking threats, tiring out physical attackers with Iron Defence and potentially turning it to damn good offence. Rapid Spin is nice, allowing for using things other than Heavy-Duty Boots on Ice.
Avalugg is also a unstoppable sacrifice to switch into Chien-Pao again against Ghost.
Glastrier can also work in this slot for more rounded bulk, either the usual Sub set or something like this, though it does miss Recover.

:abomasnow: Furthering Baxcalibur's bulk, Snow Warning allows most all sacrifices to go to specially attacking threats, tiring out physical attackers with snow. More importantly, Abomasnow allows for two things: Aurora Veil, a phenomenal use of a turn and a team slot, even if only used once, granting Ice-types slightly more fortitude than the male ego and allowing for bolder setup opportunities; and weather control, extremely important in raining in water, keeping fire on the back-burner, and, to a lesser extent, screwing with odd flavours of ground and flying (I saw Sun-Fighting once.) Abomasnow also serves an excellent role in possibly not auto-losing to Dozo with thanks to our first special attack and leech seed stalling.

:cloyster: Setup sweepers in your local area want to smash. Under snow and a veil Cloyster can setup on anything that hits physically or from a utility set, thanks Aboma. Probably the heaviest lifter in the harder matchups and the mirror thanks to being a water type more than an ice type. Boots have good mileage despite the lack of feet permitting multiple smashes and a more touch and go approach, but White Herb protects from an immediate revenge kill, and Lum from TWave. Run mixed with Hydro.

:weavile: Speed control. Weavile is the retainer of Chien-Pao, revenge killing what it won't. Losing Knock Off and more distantly Pursuit hurts it a lot. Scarfed Weavile handily can pull what's left of the team out of a lot of sticky situations, and with Foul Play, even more situations. Given the nature of the team, Beat-Up can give rise to some surprising OHKOs as a lead.

Cheers.

Posting the following team for Psychic sample:

Bulky Offense ft. Iron Leaves
https://pokepast.es/8a2e28cf6b6f97c5

Description: Made for the psychic core challenge. Scarf Iron Leaves is Psychic's fastest viable scarfer, outspeeding things like +1 Volcarona and scarfed samurott-hisui, dealing heavy damage with Psyblade to the former under terrain and OHKOing the latter with either Leaf Blade or CC. Indeedee is specs to break down physical walls, Bronzong provides rocks while not losing momentum due to hypnosis, Armarogue has a fire immunity to support Iron Leaves and Bronzong while running Sub to help check Kingambit even when not under terrain, Hatterenne is running Nuzzle to help with speed issues, and SD Gallade is here so we beat poison instead of losing to it, while also providing invaluable priority in Shadow Sneak for revenge killing things like Sash Cloyster and Polteageist, and kills Gengar at +2 to ensure the poison sweep. Got to 1600 for the core challenge.

Made for the bug core challenge. We run the top 6 mons on the bug VR, truly creative teambuilding right here. Fortress is the removal who also provides spikes and checks Urshifu with rocky helmet, SD scizor helps against water, bulky volcarona counters ID zamazenta while also being a potent wincon, Scarf Kleavor provides speed control while also setting rocks, and frosmoth serves as a secondary win condition. Poison:

Full Stall: https://pokepast.es/0db04c7d902152d4

Description: Made for the poison core challenge. When we run poison, we think "what is the purpose of this type?". And poison's purpose is obviously to make games super unfun and boring and make the opponent ragequit when he/she faces multiple regenerator mons and gets to play a 1,000 turn long game. So, we obviously include the 3 regenerator mons for maximum rage inducing, and to support these we run immunities--haunter is poison's best ground immunity, and Overqwil provides a Psychic immunity that also sets up Spikes. For the last mon, we run Salazzle to poison all types, and to have some way of beating steel, as well as Encore to mess with some stallbreakers. Got to top 10 ladder for the core challenge.

Maushold offense: https://pokepast.es/8e57ae6f3a8f35d3

Description: Made for the normal core challenge. The normal challenge forces us to use Maushold, so we try to build around this mon the best we can. We have Specs Zoroak to lure and kill/weaken Maushold answers, ways to consistenly get Maushold in with Cyclizar and Uturn Braviary (who also reliably clears hazards so maushold can stay healthy), and the mandatory Ditto for revenge killing. Cyclizar runs Scarf to ensure we get good lead matchups (we can always click shed tail to ensure a pivot when we outspeed the entire metagame); this is helpful when using a team as offensive as this one is; in addition, scarf Cyclizar helps in both the Dark and Dragon matchups, matchups Maushold normally struggles in. Ursaluna runs a specially defensive bulk up set to have an alternative setup sweeper (in case maushold runs into a helmet or bad matchup) and helps take special blows to make up for the lack of a fat pink blob. Got to top 10 ladder for the core challenge.
