"War. The concept of victory doesn't exist in a war that revolves around the continuance of a race. The only conclusion it can lead to is the destruction of all other races under the night sky. We Abyssal Hunters put our lives on the line to fend off and delay this fate. Always, unrelenting, and without any regrets."
Pokémon: Gladiia Mod of Origin: Crossover Chaos Stats: 96/108/82/108/40/61 (BST: 495) Type:
: Whirlpool, Water Pulse, Brine, Air Cutter, Icy Wind
: Rain Dance, Aqua Ring, Soak, Torment, Quash, Quick Guard, Mist, Hail, Mean Look, Block, Work Up, Imprison
Custom Elements: Moves
Maelstrom Dance -
-
- 100 BP - 5 PP - 75% - Water-type version of Magma Storm; binds hit target for 4 or 5 turns normally, which takes passive damage usually for 1/8 of their max HP. Description: The legendary Wolfey put the Water/Dark dual typing in high regard because of its defensive prowess, which unfortunately does not match the fragile nature of Sharpedo and Crawdaunt. Gladiia seeks to change that. With respectable physical bulk, owing to her base 96 HP and base 82 Defence, she can serve as blanket checks to dangerous physical attackers with her access to the Paldea-rare Scald, bolstered by her ability to learn Hex. Both of her abilities place her in unique places on a team. Dry Skin helps her defensive capabilities along with Scald to impede progress for Rain teams and blocking Choice-locked attackers stuck on Water moves like Ringo Ando Choice-locked to Puyo Pop. Sheer Force gives her mixed attacking stats destructive wallbreaking power. With the same base Speed as pseudo-legendary Tyranitar, she can either use STAB Liquidation and Throat Chop to rip into foes like a Feraligatr or use powerful Sheer Force-boosted special moves on a base 108 Sp. Attack stat, especially with her use of STAB Scald/Dark Pulse (plus Life Orb); meaning her Ice Beams hurt much worse than Ice Beams from a Sheer Force Nidoking. Swords Dance and Calm Mind make for great set-up moves for her as a terrifying wallbreaker, and can stop other set-up move users with Haze.
"According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible."
Pokémon: Ribombee Mod of Origin: Bust a Move Stats: 60/55/60/95/70/124 (BST: 464) Type:

Flower Shield-Bust a Move -
-
- N/A - 10 PP - N/A - User protects itself from all attacks. If a target makes contact with the user, the target is afflicted with Leech Seed.
Misty Explosion-Bust a Move -
-
- 150 BP - 5 PP - 100% - User faints. 1.5x damage if Misty Terrain is active.
Psych Up-Bust a Move -
-
- N/A - 10 PP - N/A - User's Sp. Attack and accuracy stats are raised by 1 stage each or 2 stages each if any opposing Pokémon have any positive stat changes. Description: Geez, look at all these wonderful toys Ribombee is bestowed upon from Bust a Move! While Quiver Dancing is still important for Ribombee, its status as a Sticky Web setter and support team member couldn't be any more powerful. Its tweaks to Baton Pass and Bestow gives it even more pivot moves to use, and Flower Shield is a superior Protect which helps Ribombee heal off more HP from Leech Seed. With a Flame Orb, Fairy Wind becomes a more powerful "nuke dragons" button than a simple Moonblast and the Flame Orb be used with Trick/Switcheroo or even the new Bestow to annoy foes with a detrimental item. Just don't try this Flame Orb + Fairy Wind gimmick against Guts users.
Agility, King's Shield, Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes Description: Baller. Magic Guard hazard setter that also packs a punch. Run Aerilate if you want stronger Flying STAB, otherwise just run Magic Guard.
Pokemon: Crawk Mod of Origin: GPT3mons Stats: 100/90/85/80/95/90 (BST: 540) Type:

- Ancient Power, Earthquake Description: So a little over a year ago I made my very first Pet Mod post and set of submissions to Paleomons. And miraculously enough, one of those first-time subs won. I decided to keep contributing to Paleomons till its very end (for better or worse, I made some dogwater mons for the mod ngl) and along the way found myself subbing to other places as well like M4A, AltEX and Book of Enigmas. It's been a wild ride and continues to be, as I strive to improve my sense of game design through PMs. I might not be the most active contributor around, but here's to another year of PMs.
Ok enough of the sappy shit, you want mons. This being one of my first subs, this mon is just a simple buff to Aero (tho EQ was removed in a balance patch). With Sheer Force boosting nearly every relevant attack in its disposal, including its shiny new Flying STAB, Aero-Ancient can deal some major damage. It retains its high Speed and setup in DD, making it a threatening rkiller/sweeper. It's also slightly bulkier than regular Aero but not to a meaningful degree, just means it's more likely to live a hit or two. Ye it's Aero alright.
Gnashark is the definition of frail mixed attacker. Physical sets are hard to switch into due to the power of Banded Strong Jaw Crunches, and Flip Turn to pivot out of tough matchups. Special sets are fun to spam high base power moves like Hydro Pump, Blizzard and Focus Blast to cleave holes in checks. You can even run LO mixed variants to switch it up and nail counters (Close Combat on LO Specially Based, Hydro Pump on LO Physically Based). Gnashark's major issue ofc is it's insane frailty (75/45/45 is BAD) and 110 Speed being great but not spectacular. Even so, Gnashark is not to be trifled with.
Pokémon: Lophodactylus Mod of Origin: Mega Revolution
Stats: 80 HP / 105 Atk / 75 Def / 60 SpA / 75 SpD / 140 Spe | BST: 535 Typing:
Abilities: Rock Head / Unnerve | HA: Tough Claws Movepool: Aerodactyl's Movepool + Drill Peck, U-turn, Submission, Wild Charge
Lophodactylus operates chiefly as a fast offensive pivot that can hit a bit hard thanks to Tough Claws amplifying its attacks. 140 Speed would have it clocking in at one of the fastest Pokémon in the tier, and U-turn turns it into a nasty pivot that chips most threats down. Drill Peck is kind of weak but when backed by Tough Claws it becomes a somewhat respectful STAB option to throw out. Lopho might still forgot Flying STAB altogether tho, it's moveset is strapped for slots. All in all, Lophodactylus is a strong pivot and a cool addition to add to a team if it won.
