In this days I and some my friends are making a tournament between the Pokémon characters, just for fun, often using National AG or Custom, but we had a really big problem when we have to battle using a character with a Gmax, like Allister for exemple, and if we ends up with a character with Paldea Pokémon, or with Pokémon that need Custom to be used, the character cannot use the Gmax. I wanted to make a suggestion to add the Dmax/Gmax into Custom, because is quite annoying not be able to use this gimmick if a player want to use or want to battle against certain Pokémon.
My suggestion is to change the "Tera" option to "Gimmick" option, and add the Tera for each type + Dyna and (if the Pokémon have one) Giga, so based on the option choosed, the player can give the Tera or the Dyna/Giga to his Pokémon, allawing players to battle in any way they want.
