SubCM Mega Latias has quickly grown to be one of the most prominent and dangerous wincons in SM OU in the recent months, making a big splash in tours such as SPL and OST. Mega Latias's absurd bulk and incredibly useful movepool let it easily win games against standard teams in the current metagame. Substitute allows Mega Latias to avoid status from Pokemon like Heatran and Toxapex and has a variety of situational uses such as offering a safety net against critical hits from foes like Magearna. Stored Power is the best attacking move for this set because it can quickly snowball in conjunction with Calm Mind. This set can also use Surf or Thunderbolt over Substitute to beat Tyranitar and Greninja, respectively, and Psyshock can be used over Stored Power for more immediate power, but this set is much more consistent overall. However, this set is walled by Dark-types like Tyranitar and Greninja, so Toxic Spikes support from Toxapex to wear down these threats can go a long way to facilitate a Mega Latias sweep.

Mantine isn't that relevant tbh but I can't really think of a better example it doesnt already beat/lose to so this is fine unless you come up with something
Something that comes up every now and then is using the sub as a safety net against crits from mons you cant kill in 1 hit like magearna so that may be worth mentioning unless it exceeds the character limit
