LC Stunky [QC 1/1] [GP 1/1]

[SET]
name: Wallbreaker
move 1: Crunch
move 2: Sucker Punch
move 3: Play Rough
move 4: Fire Blast
item: Life Orb
ability: Aftermath
nature: Hasty
evs: 12 HP / 252 Atk / 244 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Stunky finds a niche in LC as a wallbreaker with a useful Psychic immunity, which allows it to soft check tier staples such as Abra and Natu. Sucker Punch makes Stunky much more difficult to revenge kill by faster foes such as Diglett and Choice Scarf Porygon. Play Rough hits Fighting-types such as Mienfoo, as well as Carvanha, while Fire Blast covers Pawniard and Ferroseed. Stunky is vulnerable to being trapped by foes like Diglett and Trapinch, so Pokemon that can pressure them are necessary. Trace Porygon can take advantage of a double switch to remove these foes, while Grookey threatens both trappers immediately with Grassy Glide, as well as setting up Grassy Terrain to reduce the damage that Earthquake would do. It should also be mentioned that Grookey should always run Protect in order to effectively deal with Trapinch's First Impression when paired with Stunky.

With base 17 being the gold standard of many pokemon of this tier, hitting anything above that is wonderful. Stunky hits this threshold without an item and without being paper thin like Abra, allowing it to be a fast wallbreaker that doesn’t crumple immediately in the face of pressure.
(This shouldn't be the focus. The first sentence should describe Stunky's niche in the tier, which is a wallbreaker with a Psychic immunity.) Crunch provides a consistent way to deal heavy damage the tiers psychics and ghosts.(No need to describe STAB moves, unless they have a purpose) Play Rough allows Stunky to beat over Mienfoo and the other fighting types in the tier. Fire Blast covers would be checks in Ferroseed and Pawniard. Sucker Punch gives Stunky potent priority stab, boosted even further by its Life Orb. Stunky needs support against trappers and faster mons, like Scarf Porygon and Mudbray, Fire Ponyta, and Staryu. Grookey helps deal with trappers, Mudbray and Staryu, Munchlax helps against Fire Ponyta, Porygon and Staryu, and Ferroseed helps with Porygon and Staryu. (A majority of these Pokemon are not Stunky checks. It should be emphasized how Stunky's main weakness is the fact that it can get trapped relatively easily.)
